Hi, I am considering a combo washer for a small townhouse. Does the dry cycle actually dry clothes well and does it cause more condensation from the vent than a normal vented dryer?

Maggsie, I live an apartment and have a laundry nook and its a space saver but to answer your question. The 1 hour wash/drey combo works if it is a small load. If you have a full load of wet clothes it wont dry completely using this option. I have had no issues with the dryer it works as any other dryer I have used previously. I have not had any issues with condensation.

This is what I usually do regardless of load if I am going to use the dryer, I do a load as normal and once the cycle is complete I give the clothes another spin before turning the dryer on. I have done this method for years and it saves time and energy but its cost effective.
