Worst printer I have ever owned – Worst printer I have ever owned. I have to clean the heads multiple times just to print a clear page. This seems to be a known issue ... don't buy one.

Would not reccomend – It will print items, but the setup is very difficult to use. Its hard to learn how to print, and how to chane wifi settings, and is basically impossible t use after you change a wifi network. The colour is ok, although it quite often leaks some colours that werent meant to be there, even in monochrome mode. It does take a while to print aswell. It… Read more

also jams reguarly, and often requires you to go into the mechanical parts of the machine. Overall dont buy this printer, it does the job, but its useless after some changes.

What a nightmare – I've had trouble with this printer ever since I bought it, trying to connect it, and the updates. It sends the information off to the cloud, and not just to the printer. The quality is terrible. I've had so much better results with my old Brother. I paid the extra money for this, thinking the ink tanks were a good idea. Money down the drain.… Read more

Originally I was helped by Epson, but the problems have persisted and now no help available. Would never buy one of their products again.

Really happy with this printer – I've had this printer for about 6 months and I love it. I use black and white and colour, printing about 5 pages a week. Used to have an HP and had alot of problems but this one has had no problems, ink seems to be lasting quite a while to. Very glad I chose this. Show details

Really like it – Set up was super simple. I’m an airhead and I somehow Connected to wifi through my phone straight away. I don’t know how after reading all the bad reviews about it. Husband connected to his laptop easy also. Love how I can be anywhere in the house and print with just a press on a button on my phone. Technology these days. I’m also quite happy with photo quality.  Show details

Zero stars! Absolute waste of money – If you are looking for a printer that will stubbornly not connect via wifi? Well, ladies and gentlemen, then this is the one. If you want frustration encapsulated in a 400x200x300 box, look no further. If you want your time well and truly wasted, step right up. Epson you have well and truly stuffed this. Making printers is your bread and butter. Absolute disgrace from a once reliable firm. Show details

Nightmare to connect to the network or wifi – The connectivity and ease of doing so is a nightmare. I've wasted hours of my life I'll never recover. Totally dissatisfied with that aspect. However, once connected its easy to use, print quality is good and ink lasts well . Show details

Very Disappointed!! – Unable to get Wi-Fi to work, only operates via cables. My son emails me his stuff as he cant connect up and he's in IT. Also from the very begining the colour has not printed in colour it's all faded i only use the grey / black option in set up. As the colour is NOT colour. Have spend too many frustrated nights in trying to get printer to do what they advertise it to do. No more Epson for me! Show details

Absolute rip off, worst printer I've ever purchased – Wi-Fi setup is a joke, took me hours to get it talking to my iMac. Pathetic build quality. Worked fine then about a month after the warranty period expired, the paper feeder is stuffed. Have been quoted ridiculous amounts of money to repair it. I'm now stuck with several bottles of ecotank ink (expensive!!) that I can no longer use. Never buying Epson again. Show details

Worst printer I ever purchased – Worked great for the 1st month, then couldn't connect to Wi-Fi, then both lights came on about the paper and ink. Do you think I could fix it?? Nope ... took it back to Office Works and they couldn't help and advised me to contact epson as per warranty. Contacted Epson and they were going to charge me $150.00 for a service fee. afterwards, the motor for the paper feed didn't work.

Biggest piece of crap I have ever purchased ... now, what am I going to do with all that expensive ink that I purchased???

Worst & most expensive printer I’ve owned – I bought this printer based on recommendation by shop and reviews and thought it was the economical and environmentally friendly option. How wrong could I be. After 6 months of intermittent printing I constantly had problems printing properly and constantly needed to clean the head/nozzles. But the real problems started when I had to refill ink… Read more

tanks. I purchased expensive replacement ink and tried to refill the tanks however it was impossible to see if they were empty or full and the ink bottles never went down e.g. no ink was going in. I tried all troubleshooting guides - how hard could it be to get ink from bottles into tank? It was easy on initial fill. I still cannot fill the tanks so print quality is poor and photos terrible. On the actual print software it says all tanks half full. I feel like throwing this ridiculous printer out and buying a cheap $129 one like I had before. Never eve again an Epson product

Epson ET 2700 is crap – Purchased an Epson 2700 Printer and used it. It worked for six months, after that, it didn't print color. I reported it to Epson and the Customer Service Department sent me a step by step guide to clean the nozzle. Still, it doesn't work in color printing. It's really disappointing. I sent an email to Epson Australia Customer Service Department to return the printer as it is still under warranty, but I have not received a reply since. :( Show details

Very disappointing purchase – I'm pretty disappointed with this purchase. The RRP of $499 is really misleading, made me think it would be a good printer. I've had it about 6 weeks and can only manage very simple printing with it- sort of what I would expect if I had bought a $59 printer. :( I do LOVE the ECO tank part of it but that's all. It leaves random blobs on my… Read more

pages, it has it's own colour matching that is very different from my previous Canon printers and the push button control panel doesnt really do it for me, I like a colour screen and for the price of this it should have one. I can't seem to understand the Settings of this printer so can't Tweak it to my personal likes either... I misread the description of it and thought it had a paper holding tray but it only loads from the rear when you open a little lid and you can't leave the paper in it. :( :( Love that it is black! Love the size, the shape and the weight. I just went to find the User Manual to double check something and it took me 5 attempts to find the correct app? Groan... It took me 4 attempts to get a simple scan done- my previous printer when new was so easy to use. I just don't have enough spare time to go hunting down ' how to's' to get it working the way I need.

Worst printer – Doesn’t stay connected to internet takes a few minutes to reconnect. Not user friendly. I called epson and was told that it is hard to use as it doesn’t have air print. App sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t (I have to use the app to be able to print) Definitely a waste of money. Show details

A waste of money – It does not work properly. It will print half a document and then disconnect. I have to then turn it on and off and run through a diagnostic, which takes a few minutes. Then it might print a couple of pages and will do the same thing. It is very time consuming trying to print, and then it wastes a lot of paper printing partial documents. The… Read more

contact centre was very rude over the phone and provided no help to fix the problem, only giving a very generic fix (turn it off and on again - which I am already doing constantly just to get it to print anything).

This product does not connect to the wifi – 0 stars would be a better rating. It does connect after multiple attempts and re setting up and running diagnostics. Did Epson even test the product before sending it out. For 400 it is an absolute joke of a printer. No point talking about how it prints as it can never connect to any device to print.

Its not good – Hard to connect, cant scan wirelessly, my usb wont fit so cant scan to it my wife cant connect her ipad. It was extremely hard to set up and connect via the disk supplied and very slow to do. No led screen so hard to work out functions in short a waste of almost $400. I greatly regret this purchase. Show details

What a waste of time and money! – I have always had an Epson printer and never had any issued until I bought this one. It is impossible to scan a document without using a cable (ie. you can't use WIFI) and if you have Windows 10, well just forget it!! Not sure what the reasoning was for this but really not impressed with this product. Extremely disappointed.  Show details

Expensive and hard to connect to WIFI – I am not technologically challenged. I have never had a problem connecting a printer to a wifi network. I have watched countless videos and read all the Epson Support recommendations and honestly, if I ever get it connected to wifi it will be a fluke. Apparently, you can connect it with a temporary USB cable (which does not come with the printer).… Read more

Expensive, sub-par print quality, and regularly clogged – Epson ET2700 has the upside of tank inks (hence it's higher retail price), but the very significant downside of regular, severe nozzle clogging, and quite low-fidelity print-quality. No matter what adjustments are made, the print colours have never matched the original image - they're a literally pale imitation. The time wasted head cleaning for… Read more

Do not recommend this printer – Only good thing about this printer is the ECO Ink Cartridges. Says its Airprint, called support and told its not AIRPRINT. Then printer went offline. Does what I need with minimal fuss – I have had this printer for just over 12 months and while all my previous printers have been nightmares, the ET-2710 has actually been the most reliable printer I’ve owned. cable - Plug in cable - PRINTER NOT FOUND

Eventually I gave up and just tried setup via USB connection. Behold that works fine. So basically it's "wireless" if it ever decides to work. Which it doesn't.

This is my 4th in a not so great lineup of Epson printers and I'm starting to realize I made a mistake choosing to buy this brand.

Painful to scan from – Our faithful old Epson died after many years of service, so we bought this earlier this year. We've had no problems with our Wifi (though I usually use it connected to my desk top) and printing is okay. However, I frequently need to scan items for school (I'm a primary teacher) and this drives me mad. If I have a page, for example, with twelve… Read more

pictures on it and need to scan each individually, you have to rescan the entire page every time which takes SO LONG! Our old Epson held the preview image, which made it so easy and quick. I've been through every setting I can see and looked online for help with this but I can't find any way of retaining the preview pane. If it's there, it's certainly not easy to find! This is my main complaint - otherwise it's so far been a good printer and the ink is holding out very well, even though I use it quite frequently.

Awful. Truly awful – Does not connect through wifi in spite of being visible on the wifi settings of my computers. Impress with the number of pages it can print – My first printer after many years. Bought this model as you can print thousands of pages without refilling the ink. So far I have printed around 100 pages and the quality is acceptable for home use. No technical issue so far. My only regret is I should have gotten the unit with a front LCD display from Good Guys. Show details

Disappointing lifespan – This printer has had continual issues with colour printing after very limited use and it then stopped working completely (equivalent to a BSOD) less than 18 months after I purchased it. Useless, expensive, piece of junk – Managed to print with it from my Acer Aspire with Windows 10 twice, then it would no longer connect. Tried to update the driver but it wouldn't install.
