Works fine bit slow for scan – Had this at work for over a year.. Works well.. Can use epson app to print documents from phone by using hotspot.. Build quality is ok.. If not going to move around to much..

output is fairly good as well. What I don't like however, is the ink situation. It drinks ink like nobody's business and, as with most printers I suppose, they're not cheap to replace. You've got 2 options for cartridges, Std or XL (high capacity). I would definitely recommend (if your budget allows) spending the extra $$ to go with the XL cartridges and, if you don't need them urgently, buy directly from Epson as they're a bit cheaper (than Officeworks anyway) and currently offer free delivery. Also, buy the value packs and save yourself some $$$!!! We've replaced 3 out of 4 cartridges so far but made the mistake of buying individually because they ran out at different times. In this instance, we had to buy from Officeworks and spent $69.54 for 3 cartridges (we did get black in XL though) whereas the value pack is only $76.88 (incl. 4 cartridges - 1 black XL and the 3 other colours STD). Overall, I think it's a good printer for home use.

TERRIBLE – This is the worst printer I have ever experienced. It never worked properly since I purchased it, tried to contact Epson and they did not respond. The printer constantly takes in more than 1 page at a time when printing or scanning and now the ink does not even print on the page. "black ink needs replacing" - thats funny I have printed about ten pages - ok replaces ink goes to print important document I need for work tomorrow on a Sunday WILL NOT PRINT - "yellow ink Needs replacing" - this document isn't even yellow??? ok goes to the supermarket buys the correct ink at a price more than the printer??? replaces cartridge "out of M ink (blue)" this document is black and white why do I need blue?? ok replaces all cartridges now because i am losing it... goes to print prints everything except the black ink i.e. 99.9% of the document.

ok maybe the cartridge is blocked removes and replaces does ink jet head clean as per fault finding instructions and a bunch of other meaningless things that do absolutely nothing... still not working... but it will print in blue??

Takes blue document to work the next day that looks ridiculous and at this point the printer has ruined my Sunday and Monday.

then I go to use the scanner and scan it to my Mac It wont even recognise the scanner, whats worse is the issues I have described above are the same as the first WF-2630 I purchased. Do yourself a favour, do not buy EPSON

Worst ever printer I've used. Please don't buy it – I bought Epson WF-2630 printer lured by its price and advertised features. It's very very poor machine. Its software sucks. even if one color is low on ink. Basically epson guys will force user to buy ink. They intentionally made it don't work after even single color ink is ran out. Last but not least - it is color printer but you can't print black and white even if printer has plenty of black ink if one of the color ran out. Ink runs out just like that.

Printhead always blocks – I have the Epson workforce WF-2630. I am very unsatisified, I brought as I like the idea of the seperate ink colour cartridges. The Black ink never works, the printhead always gets blocked. Don't buy EPSON! Show details

Do not waste your money on this – needs to replace whole catridge when color is out. cannot print in b& w cannot scan to iphone app. poor firmware design causing issues in the operatability. very fustrating. I went with epson company because of the brand but ended up wasting money. Show details

Don't waste your money very disappointing printer – I bought mine several years ago i probly used it 8 times max and i found the ink runs out so quick , it's not worth buying even thou the price is cheap its not worth it at all. time constantly getting this trash back up online than you are printing and using your valuable time of this piece of trash. Today I will be throwing it out of my window because once again. I need more ink but after I install the ink then it won't print. So I have to clean the nozzle heads repeatedly again as is drains my ink and I have to buy another cartridge. Like I have done numerous times. Then after hours and days it will print one or two things and I will have to replace another ink and it doesn't print again and then back to cleaning the sh i t t y nozzle heads, repeatedly as I watch my ink dwindle and I haven't printed any damn thing for myself.

Rinse, wash and repeat. That is the cycle of this Trash. Avoid it all all cost unless you just want to waste money for soon to be garbage.

Awful – I work in technology, so if I hit technical problems usually they're a minor nuisance. Not with this printer. interface is needlessly awkward. My home computer appears to lose the printer every time the computer or printer is restarted. The driver installation was difficult, bordering on impossible. A number of proprietary pieces of software have to be installed on the computer for the device to work. The scanning software is unwieldy and hard to use. Printer ink cartridges cost a disgusting amount compared to the amount of ink they contain and compared to the cost of the printer. Printer would print with gaps and lines visible on page until I claimed that there was EPSON paper in the printer at which point the problems went away. And finally, it's just really slow. This is the worst technology purchase I've made in living memory.

Don't bother – Second one I've brought as the ink itself outlasted the first and it was cheaper to buy the same printer again. This one didn't last a year. Constant problems with print heads being clogged on both occasions. No more Epson for me. Show details

Just hand write it, it will be less painful than using this printer – This has been the most disappointing printer in a long line of disappointing printers. Epson took it to a new level of nonsense. The best place for this product is in the recycle bin! – Won’t perform simple task like copy... keeps stating the margins are not set correctly... you set them ... press ok ... and sends you around in circles with the same error message. takes for ever to start printing. It is also very complicated to use, the menus are designed by some lab rat whose brain works in an illogical fashion. Don't buy it. Doesn't do double sided printing. Once the ink runs out I will throw it in the bin and buy a better printer.

TOO COMPLICATED TO SET UP – After the previous printer we had asked us to do an update it stopped working. So off we went to buy another one only because I had purchased $142 worth of cartridges for our previous Epson.
