Goodbye Epson – The Epson WTF-7620 printer is the worst piece of crap excuse for a printer I have ever wasted money on. The programmers and designers are clearly incompetent. I will never buy Epson garbage again, and I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of it. Show details
Worse than the Awful Canon we last had – Rarely works straight away, we frequently end up turning it on and off again to try to get it to print. Ink runs out very quickly. This was not a cheap printer. Would previously have recommended Epson, not any more. Show details
WF7620 – Bought this printer in 06/2016 from Harvey Norman for just over $368 and the print quality has always been poor despite the numerous times I have run the nozzle clean and the print alignment options. Always used genuine ink, which is not cheap but banding always appeared across the printing. Has only ever had light usage for home, and I mostly… Read more
purchased because it could wifi and also do A3, but printer never recognised this tray option. Last weekend it packed it in stating error: 0x97 which is apparently a fried motherboard. Rang around numerous repairers who all said its not worth fixing. Contacted Epson twice, being 5 days apart, and they have not bothered to reply at all. Before this I had a HP which worked like a trojan.

Was a problem until I replaced the ink head – worked well for about 4 months than only printed black no colour. Was using a CISS with it & thought that was problem. The business that sold me the CISS had no idea what problem was but still supplied me (free) extra ink & cleaning kit and bent over backwards trying to help me. Eventually bit the bullet & purchased new print head and installed… Read more
it. Since then the printer has never missed a beat - have put thru probably 50,000 sheets (majority NCR stock) and never missed a beat and has kept accurate registration. As there is a problem with the print head if you purchase a new one (i reckon when you get one replace under warranty you get a refurbished head) & install it yourself you may a have a great work horse. Because of this problem I have got an extra one (off gumtree for free) so that when this one dies I can change over parts or get a new print head and keep on printing. would highly recommend using CISS systems as ink cost is SO LOW
Done a great job for a cheap product! – I love my Epson WorkForce WF-7620 Printer! It was a very inexpensive product to buy to add to my office. It Prints very well. It doesn't chew through ink very often at all. And I find that when ink does need to be replaced, I can usually find it on sale which is handy. Show details
Works everytime! – Good printer, scanner and copier. Bit noisey but it's in an office so not really bothered. Scans to network shares, sdcards, USB sticks and the cloud (Evernote etc). Only downside is if you print in colour it'll cost a fortune! $100 to replace all ink cartridges and I got nowhere near the amount of colour pages it claims possible. Black and white… Read more
goes on forever but if you want colour it's going to cost you. Overall good reliable machine but the ink just kills it in value for money.

AWFUL! – So disappointed in this product from Epson. I have always recommended Epson printers in the past. I will never do so again, nor purchase another Epson product. Wish I could get my money back. Show details
Most unreliable printer I have ever bought – The printer worked okay for the first few months but then the print alignment seemed to go astray and there was no way to get it aligned. I always used Epson cartridges and ran the alignment and cleaning as per the instructions. For such an expensive printer I am amazed at how poor the quality is. I purchased a much cheaper printer to replace this… Read more
with and the quality is fantastic in comparison. I am very disappointed in Epson and am unlikely to buy from them again if this is what you get for your money.
They spent more on Marketing than Engineering – When you first look at buying this Printer it comes across as an impressive machine. I spent quite some time looking over all the different options for an A3 sized printer when i bought it and honestly, from the outside it all looks great. I purchased it, took it home and again, it looks great, there are plenty of customisable options and the… Read more
displays are crystal clear, it integrates perfectly with the PC. The first couple of prints are a dream and the quality was actually better than expected.
Basically my issues started once the initial cartridge ran out. It took ages to recognise the new cartridge and they are NOT cheap. I had to print a number of cleaning cycles and then calibration cycles to get it all working up to scratch. Now my needs are limited, I get anything serious professionally printed, most of my printing is just internal or private, and even at these low standards it struggled.
- Almost EVERY time I needed to print it had to be run through a nozzle clean cycle. - I have had it 2 years and for at least 1.5 years of that time I have had to deal with it insisting on questioning what paper I put in the cartridge. - Over the last 6 months it has either fed multiple sheets through with each print or refused to recognise there is paper in the cartridge. - It refused to work with thicker grade paper even when feeding through the back-slot (and don't get me started on how 'particular' the back slot is on getting the paper positioned EXACTLY right) - It rarely printed without folding a corner over on the paper, especially through the back slot
Today it completely broke… nothing feeds through, the mechanics screech and scream as they attempt to move any paper and it jams each and every time. I wonder if it is coincidence that I bought it in March 2017? Exactly 2 years ago…
When it DID print it did a good job, no question about it, but it felt like winning the lottery each time when it did manage to print. The Scanner & Software is excellent – but I could buy a scanner for 10% of the cost that will do just as good a job.
I feel conned by this printer, it would not surprise me to see that their Marketing budget for it was significantly higher than their Engineering budget as it feels like they jammed cheap versions of the components they use in their higher-end Printers into a beautiful shell and said “she’ll be right”.
As others have said in their reviews of this Printer… I will not trust Epson again.

Faulty and problematic! – A3 sized printer/scanner, absolute rubbish! Won't recognise ink cartridges that are genuine, print quality not good. Controls hard to use, tray is too weak and flimsy. Bad quality in general! Have to take back to shop and get a new one, FIFTH time this has happened! Won't be buying Epson stuff anymore! Show details
Epson work for-the-dole – Always issues. This is my 2nd one. First one has nozzle print head issues, this one has had similar issues but now won't even print or connect to my laptop. I am quite over this piece of rubbish. I won't buy epson again. Wish if read the reviews first. Very unimpressed. Show details
Don't buy! – Absolute garbage printer. Our business relies on printing daily. This has been problematic in many ways, from poor print quality, not sensing genuine ink to paper jam/loading mechanism failures. This has cost us in more than that printer alone. All the other reviews are proof this is a poor quality product. Would never buy Epson again! Show details
Worst Printer I have ever Owned – I would not recommend purchasing this printer, there are better brands. It began by printing horizontal lines through the print job. Tried cleaning the print head with one of the options, with no result. Tried a further 3 attempts, with no result, and it became worse with each try. Finally had the print head replaced by an authorized Epson… Read more
Service Centre, even though the printer was only 9 months old.
Well today it has started again 11 months after it was repaired, print head cleaning to no avail.
Contacted the repair centre after sending a sample print job, and you guessed the print head needs replacing again.
Will try Canon which I have never had any problems with........

Printer head is not designed well – I have been using WF7620 for last two & half years. After purchasing brand new from Harvey norman wish in 20 days the printer Head needed to be replaced. I had to take it to the service stations for it. (Printer head was replaced for free from Epson under warranty) It worked well for around 4 months and than again same problem. The printer… Read more
started having issue with printer head which was need to be replaced despite using the genuine Epson cartridges. At this tame I had to purchase a back up printer for my office.
The printer worked well for another 5 months. From mid last year to till date the printer still does not print well. I would have spent thousands for dollers to purchase their genuine cartridges.
I regret spending so much money in Epson cartridges for this product. Yesterday the printer has stop printing in black at all.
I had another WF2600 series at home with printer head problem.
My overall experience using Epson brand is not good at all. The cartridges are very expensive. The printer head is horrible.
Printer head problem – Black print head is very blurry. Tried the maintenance on the machine many times but it doesn't fix it. After reading all the other reviews it seems we are not alone and therefore have decided we wont be buying an Epson again. We will take it back as it is under warranty but I wont hold my breath that it gets fixed. Show details
Terrible – This printer is faulty, we have purchased two of these and both same problem, The ink dries up and causes heads to clog up resulting in terrible printing quality and then ceases to work. The ink refills are also very expensive. I will be replacing printers but not with another Epson. Show details
Poor printer. repaired under warranty but came back worse – Print heads replaced, but will not provide a constant print. Won't connect or recognise USB without restart. This had great reviews online before I bought it - but in reality never performed. It is just on its 3rd in cartridge (black) and second (colour) and has been cleaned etc including service agent. Still no good. Out of warranty (but still the original ongoing issue never resolved) so they won't touch it. Show details
Worst Choice Ever – This is the worst printer I have ever owned. I need to allocate 15 minutes each print job to sort out connection issues, maintenance issues or ink issues. The ink runs out very quickly and when one cartridge is empty the machine is unusable (cannot print in B+W even if the black cartridge is full). I feel cheated by Epson for accepting money for… Read more
such a useless item. I refuse to ever purchase Epson products again. I will endeavor to stop friends (and strangers) from ever purchasing Epson. I though about selling it but my conciseness got the better of me (I refuse to stoop as low as Epson). Very tempted to climb onto the roof and (send it to hell) as it is the only way I will ever get satisfaction from it.
Extremely poor printer – Wish I had read more reviews before buying instead of relying on previous experiences with Epson printers. This has to be the worst printer for consistency, quality , setup and multiple other things. The paper size in the setup changes for no reason and the quality is awful after the first few prints. Print head cleaning doesn't help at all it… Read more
just moves the missing sections around the page! To make matters worse I spent close to $500 on a 3 year extended warranty which I am told cannot be transferred to a replacement! Ah well lesson well learned.
Absolutely the WORST choice EVER – Takes too long to print Set up was a nightmare Constant pauses and stuffups Absolutly frustrating Doesn't always work have to update and play around with configurations NEVER did this with other printers. Others printers a breeze just plug in install and that's it. This printer omg. Just looks good Show details
Stupid printer that keeps wasting heaps of paper printing only lines and NOT the actual content!!!! – It has been the worst printer ever bought. It was working fine when we bought it. Soon, it's a liability. We wasted so so so so much papers and time trying to get this stupid printer to work. It requires update so often. When we update , it print OK for 1 job. The jobs onward are just garage printout. We trying all the maintenance options, print… Read more
head clean, etc. it's still printing crap. Wasted so much of our time installing, uninstalling driver to get it to work.
My experience is pretty the same as all other bad reviews writer and that says the truth for this printer.
What a great experience from Epson. Don't invent crap for home users.
Wish I could give 0 stars or lower – Without doubt the most useless printer I have ever had the displeasure of owning. Guaranteed to fail on time, every time. If you need to print something out in a hurry to get to a meeting, the printer will ALWAYS let you down. It will... drop off the network for no reason, or the printer driver will constantly bang on about paper sizes not… Read more
matching, or there are mysterious connection errors, or it will refuse to print to tell you the ink is running low, but not give you an option to change it. Software needs to update constantly, (It is worse than Adobe used to be). If you finally manage to get it to print something (It happened to me once), it will look like a demented undeveloped chicken has tried to copy it with a blunt pencil while somebody is whacking it with a particularly large stick.

threw it out the window – Extremely disappointing, Does not accept A3 paper and will not recognize it once loaded. I have just changed the 252 XL cartridge and it wont recognize the new ink cartridge. Has been a heap of [Word Removed] from day one. I will never use Epson again. if the printer is that bad then don't tarnish your business name by releasing it to the public. Show details
Can never get a consistent print – This printer is pretty bad. Every time I print it seems like a new adventure. Is it going to print blurry? Leave out the black? Or maybe use the wrong paper. It is one of the most frustrating printers I've ever owned. Epson need to pick up their game as they used to be good but this is woeful. Show details
Unreliable Printer – I was in the market for an all-in-one A3 multifunction printer and the Epson WorkForce WF-7620 seemed to tick all the boxes. Previously having good experiences with Epson printers (my first PC printer was an Epson Stylus Colour 600) I was confident that his multifunction printer would be a reliable, solid printer. Boy, was I wrong! The… Read more
print head after a short period of time became misaligned, and no matter how many times I ran the print head alignment tool, it made no difference. So I took it back to Harvey Norman and swapped it out with another WF-7620. Again, the printer was fine for a couple of months until the print head did the same thing. And after the recent software upgrade that Epson released, the printer starter to print blank pages.
Print quality isn't that great. The HP C309a multifunction printer I had before the WF-7620 was much better, especially when it came to printing photos.
It's a shame, I really want to like this printer. It has all the features that I'm after but both the hardware and software are just not up to the task. Luckily I got the extended warranty through Harvey Norman. This will be going back and I'll be looking for a better option this time.
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid printer is riddled with problems – This printer was used in a pool company, it was supposed to be so plans could be scanned and printed off. - Tray selection is a nightmare it just doesn't want to select the tray you want for the paper size. - Scanned A3 plans scanned faint even after putting the scanner on max dpi. - We print at least once a week and only ever used ink from… Read more

Mentally Incompetent Programmers – Mentally Incompetent Programmers Where do I start? After many years of faithful easy to use service from my cannon I regrettably bought this printer because it had two paper cartridges A3 and A4. The Bad things about the WF-7620 1. the computer. This was slow and painful.
2. If you changed from normal paper to photographic, it could not be done through the computer it had to be done through the printer. Slowly and painfully and then you had to change it back after you finished.
3. Every time there was a program update, it would delete your settings, so you had to re-program them painfully and slowly “through the printer”.
4. If you are printing on photographic paper you can only use Epson’s super thin inferior paper, as it cannot process a heavy duty Kodak paper. You cannot buy this Epson paper in any store it can only be purchased online, so if you run out of paper you have to wait for it to be mailed to you to finish the job.
Stay away from Epson never buy one, absolute garbage.
I am no longer an EPSON customer. WF-7620 worked less than a year – The difficulties that I had with the Epson WF 7620 we're that it began to confuse which tray had which kind of paper and eventually of the printhead develop some kind of irregularity and eventually no Blackwood print out of the printer so I used it as a scanner and a copier but The copier function didn't work since the printheads didn't work so I… Read more
bought another Epson printer smaller one that did not have USB available for scanning so I have to scan it to a computer. The setup of both of these printers was arduous to say the least to which they eventually worked but you have to hack at it for a long time. I am no longer an Epson customer I'll check the other printer companies such as brother.
Want To Take A Hammer To This Printer – I hate the Epson WF 7620. I have had this printer replaced 3 times via the warranty and it never gets better. It will work for a while and then it starts jamming, squeaking, confusing the paper cassettes and makes me want to take a hammer to it. It was designed to do wonderful things but it doesn't do the wonderful things. The ink doesn't last… Read more
long enough, in my opinion, and the operations go bizerk after a while. Waste of money!!! As far as I'm concerned the "WF" doesn't represent Work Force.
Forgot to do my research – Extremely disappointed with the quality of printing, especially anything in color. Ink utilization is extremely high and costly. I have used a variety of printers but this is the poorest yet. I will be looking for a replacement even this is less than a year old. Biggest issues are the lack of sharpness of text, banding (vertical and horizontal) and the extreeme lack of vivid color. Show details
Steaming pile of crap – I´ve had this 6 months and hate it. It only scans to cloud as it always has errors doing it through the email button. wasting time! I´m good with computers which is why this is annoying as I´d hate to have my Dad try and work this stupid printer. Badly designed function wise.

Expected much more from Premium Epson printer premium priced Ink – Bought my first unit Epson printer model WF-7620 in March 2016 from Harvey Norman Melbourne. quality looked expenssive and beautifull.- hence, opted again for Epson.
However, didn't bought the printer for its looks then for what it does.
Using and printing in A4-A3+ a breeze but quality wise print outs far behind the expected. Print outs on best quality either Copy, Scan or print this printer fell behind in every category. Printouts look pale, no dept clarity and sharpness. Even text wise not that impressive. TheXL set of genuine Inks, B,C,M&Y will set you back $164.00 but you will yield near 650 pages or far from 1100 as promised. I understand the iso standard of 5%, but nowhere near that amount. Spent 1-254XL Black($64)+2-252XL Set of b,c,m,y. Total print out 1690 pages in color (396) black. So magically after 12 months manufacturers warranty approx @ 16 months printer went broke down - head clogged and after repeating head cleaning and rest of 12 hrs between cycles (few times over like that), printer was ready to be replaced. Always used genuine INK. Half a black ink and 75% cyan went down the drain. Lucky? I had purchashed a Product care from Harvey Norman {( that story line in the next review :)} - for three years so I used that to replace the unit. Now to the second unit lets see if my luck is going to run out sooner or going to last a tad bit longer then the latest. Also be ready for frequent visits to the back door of this big mamma printer so does the Jamming occurs to frequently for my taste. Disapointment both sides hence the 2stars. Up you ante Epson or ppl will walk away.
Terrible Printer – two years old and print quality is terrible, blurred and smudges texts, no amount of head cleaning, realignment ect ect has fixed the problem, now doesn't print at all, head makes a grinding noise and printer displays error message, over this printer, do not purchase one of these and stay away from epson printers in my opinion. Steer Clear - very problematic machine – Was great when first installed but am now onto my second replacement of this printer within 14 months as it completely failed. Print quality became unusable and paper feeder continually jammed. Similar issue with both printers we have had. There seems to be significant problem with the design of this machine. Show details
Don't waste your money on this printer – After not even a year the printer stopped allowing printing from cassette 1 (always said it was jammed when it wasn't). Now cassette 2 doesn't work well and is doing the same thing on & off. Print quality is average but if you need better quality, this isn't the printer for you. Great as a scanner but not a printer.
