Excellent product and after sales service
We've had a set of stainless steel Per Vita for 6 years and they've been great. Despite daily use, they still look close to new and do what they should. We recently had an issue with the base of the skillet and it was replaced under the lifetime warranty with no problem. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again, though since these will probably last longer than me, I doubt we'll need to.
Purchased in May 2015.

Terrible product
I have had the Essteele 28cm frying pan for 4 months. The non stick coating of the 28cm frying pan has extensive bubbling around the base. The bubbles inflate when the pan is heated and fill with dishwater when pan is washed creating a very unhygienic surface. Very disappointing product and cost well over $100 with discount.
Purchased in July 2020 for $130.00.

Worth it.
Super happy with the 5-peice set we purchased a few years back.
Expect the copper to discolour early on (that's what copper does). If you know how to use a steel pan, it should give you decades of brilliant cooking (possibly a lifetime based on other reviews).
We purchased on a deep discount at DJ's. For the quality, the price is great.
Purchased at David Jones Retail Stores.

Quality; Service; Inexpensive in the long run
We bought the set 28 years ago. Our children, for whom we used to cook baby food in the saucepans, use the same pans themselves now. We're all keen cooks, and these have been through a lot of use (and occasional misuse).
Understandably, the handles were deteriorating after all this time, after much use and hundreds of cleans in the dishwasher. And years ago, when the copper/stainless steel bottom of the small saucepan split, they replaced it without question. It was already over 15 years old.
So I wrote in this time about the handles on t...Read more
he remaining pans, wondering what could be done after so long. Once they looked at the photos I sent in, we were totally looked after. This demonstrated a true lifetime warranty. Quite simply, with that longevity, and the quality, the cookware is not at all expensive over the long term. That's the way to think about it when making your initial purchase. Think about how many cheap rubbish pans you might get and replace over the decades otherwise (and not enjoy cooking with). So if you care about your cooking, I believe you can't go wrong with Essteele.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Terrible pans
Spent more than $800 on a “nice” set as a wedding gift from my parents. It was supposed to be something to last us a lifetime and finally being able to throw out the old Kmart set.
We looked for the nicest and best pans we could find. This was supposed to be it. Wow. What a disappointment.
No matter what the temperature is in the pan. Everything sticks. Everything, other than liquids. Potato, bacon, meatballs, you might as well make a mash.
While they seem easy to clean, they stain like crazy. Every pan and pot was stained after first use. W...Read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE these!
Bought the 5 piece set including 3 saucepans, nonstick frypan and steamer about 6 months ago. Can’t say enough good things about these! Bought them for their heavy base and looks, sexiest cookware out there :) Cook evenly, clean easily - what more could you want?
Purchased in October 2018 at Myer Online Store.

Too old to have any name except Esteele!
I have a small Esteele saucepan which was given to my mother about 1964. It has been in regular use ever since. It has even been boiled dry a number of times. 'Esteele' on the copper bottom is still legible, and it has no flaws or pitting. It is still my favourite pan. Why does your purchase date only go back to 1998??

Essteele Per Vita Open French Skillet 24cm
Bought this pan from Myer a month ago when it was on sale. it has a very beautiful design, very easy to use and clean. No food remains stuck to the pan. The bottom of the pan is in copper to assure a very good cooking distribution and also keeps the temperature. Great choice although a bit expensive. I did not give the 5 stars for the price.

Quite surprised
I always jump on this site to warn others of disappointing products, so thought it was time to write a positive review. I had a quick think of any products that bring a smile to my face when using them and quickly thought of my Essteele Per Vita fry pans. I was worried about moving from non stick to stainless steel and now regret not making the move a lot earlier. Although stainless is harder to cook on (only initially), it actually forces you to learn how to cook properly and the results far exceed that of non stick (you'll see). The thick bas...Read more
e holds and transmits heat well and the steel handles mean they can also be used in the oven to finish off steaks etc. (just like restaurants do). I have no issues at all cleaning them and every now and then when there is a stain left on the cooking surface, it is easily removed with the Essteele cookware cleaner or Bar Keepers Friend. Only downside is the heavy weight of the large fry pan (obviously) and the fact the handle holds a little bit of water that usually ends up on me or the floor when moving them to the drying rack. I plan on drilling a hole right through the handle to prevent this as I'm not worried about ever having to use the warranty on these pans. I use these pans on a glass cooktop. Hint: keep a non stick pan for frying eggs.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Happy with 5 piece cookset but need special cleaner
I have been using my 5 piece cookset for about a month. After the first use or two, I found brown spots like other reviewers have reported. I also found that the copper band changed from orange to yellow. I got in touch with Essteele and they sent a bottle of the cleaner and this worked a treat. So I am really happy with them. I don't need to use the cleaner every time though. My main reason for choosing stainless steel was health reasons (and cast iron is just too heavy for me) and longevity. They do feel like quality products (I bought...Read more
them for $359 instead of $799 RRP!). The handles don't get hot. I especially like the steamer that fits nicely over the large saucepan. I also found that they are quicker to heat up than my previous cookware (Scanpan non stick pans) probably due to the thicker base.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Excellent Set of Saucepans
High polish allows easy cleaning
Good heavy base ensures even cooking
Love the solidly riveted handles.
The only improvement I could suggest is that I prefer a glass lid, which isnt an option - so I bought some Scan Pan lids which fit nicely

Irremovable stains after one use
I have bought a set which includes three pots, a small to medium size frying pan and a steaming basket. They are very heavy with a thick copper base.
Pros:
* Solid construction
* Nice shiny finish, when they are brand new.
* Probably better heat conduction and distribution due to the heavy bottom.
Cons:
* After only one use, the bottom of the largest pot had lots of rust and other ugly stains. I exchanged it once, twice, and after the second exchange I got sick of it and asked for a refund. I was given a part refund as the rest of the s...Read more

ESSTEELE PER VITA 5 PIECE COOKWARE SET
Really heavy duty cook wear, so pleased with the performance so far.
We had Tefal set before this, no comparison. Really researched a quality cook wear set and settled on the Essteele Per Vita.
So happy I made this decision.
Even used ZipPay.

Good quality pots and pans
Bought the 5 piece set plus a a free covered saute pan. Good value for money. Happy that I chose this brand and range rather than Scanpan or Baccarat. Essteele pots and pans are of high quality. Copper base looked perfect before wash, never looked the same after its been cleaned. Has one or two little dark spots inside, not sure how that happened. Outside is still very shiny with a mirror like finish.
Milk pan has no lid, I only realized after reading inclusions in box twice. Each item is heavier than any other SS 18/10 cookware but not as heavy as our Le Creuset. Surprisingly cooks great tasting food.
Hope it lasts us for years. Overall satisfied.

Best saucepan. Wouldn't use anything else.
I've had the stainless steel saucepan for over a year now, use it almost daily and it still looks brand new. There's nothing I can fault about it and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality stainless steel cookware.

Annoyed with rust spots at first use
After first use I noticed 5 or more so random rust spots (inside the saucepan) and 1 spot even with a tiny black hole in one saucepan. I decided to try another saucepan and ended up with 3 rust spots which was not noticeable before hand. I washed them as recommended before first use and I am very disappointed in the pans. They were on special when I bought them and I wonder if its a batch of rejects Estelle is trying to get rid of. I will now be staying away from Estelle and looking else where.

2 of the pots rusted after first use
I bought a set of these pots 2 weeks ago plus one additional pot. The first two that I used had rust spots on the inside after washing them (dried right away). Called Myer's where I bought them and they didn't want to know about it and referred us to the manufacturer. For the price I would expect way better quality and service. Avoid these if you want something that lasts.

Life long pan! (..I'm expecting)
Love Essteele Per Vita! Initially came across it when I was looking at All Clad, but I'm so glad I got this. It looks gorgeous, stays brand new (even the non stick!!!), works in the oven, has a lifetime warranty! The only possible down side is the weight, it really is quite heavy. The price is great too, if I weren't a poor uni student I'd have every item! Would absolutely recommend and buy again (have already bought two (stainless steel and non stick)!

heir warranty!!! I bought this product and expected it to last a lifetime like they claimed, but this was certainly not the case. Beyond this, they completely failed to live up to their lifetime warranty. I bought this pan because I was assured that the nonstick had a lifetime warranty and I'd had issues in the past of pans not lasting long. I've only had this a bit over a year and have been away for almost 6 months during that time. I went to claim my warranty since it's no longer non stick, but they said I'd miss used my pan! This absolutely out raged me as they cannot make that claim without proof, if not they could say it for every claim. I have followed the instructions for use and upkeep and have even taken extra precautions. I only used a silicone spafula (not even plastic) and a microfibre cloth on my pan. I cleaned it and hand dried it after every use and they are still putting it down to miss use. Absolutely outraged.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

Love it
I love the saucepans (frypan alright I generally prefer nonstick) saucepans are awesome even heat I accidentally left the saucepan on simmer and had food burnt on the bottom and the copper had gone a funny colour just used bicarbonate soda to clean the inside and let the saucepan sit in vinegar and the copper colour came back. The non drip edges ism5 star I poured out a creamy pasta dish with no spillage best sauce on set I have used and handle (long ones) didn't get hot.

Early days but I am disappointed
I have only just bought a set of 3 saucepans and a steamer. I steamed some vegetables in the steamer with the 20 cm saucepan for dinner, with plenty of water in the saucepan. Later, after emptying the water from the saucepan I noticed some small brown/grey round stains (about 8 of them scattered around at random) on the stainless steel at the bottom of the inside of the pan. I couldn't get these off by using a non-stick scourer and warm water with mild dishwashing liquid in it. Has anyone else had this problem? I'd appreciate some help.

9th, 2017 Update: Very happy now I previously wrote a review entitled "Early days but I am disappointed". There were about 8 or 9 brown spots on the inside of one of my new "Esteele per vita" saucepans at the bottom that appeared after I'd just steamed some vegies in it (the first time I'd used it). However, when I subsequently used the pan to stew some plums the spots miraculously disappeared. I'm now very happy with my purchase.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!

My 30 cm Essteele saute pan has been my main pan for about 15 years. However the bottom layers are now separating when heated on the stove. Can I get repaired? Will I replace? I don't remember if I filled out the warrantee. Any point in trying? Can't even remember where I bought it!
