pot doesn't work on induction as the base is too small to recognise, and the Sauté & Frying pans won't cook properly on the "recommended" low-medium heat that the company insists upon (and I have an entertaining email from them saying that I should be cooking with room-temperature food too! Salmonella anyone?) Cooking on anything higher than medium causes the non-stick to eventually fail, bubble and peel. Oh, and it also voids the 'Lifetime Warranty' according to them. They will come up with any excuse to not replace a faulty item, laying blame at your feet for wanting to cook a steak or fry an onion. It's their reasoning to not honour a warranty of any kind. I tested their excuse: that food will cook at 'low-medium' - and it's just rubbish. Meat will not caramelise at that heat, and nothing comes to the boil. So Essteele are essentially dictating to us what food we should cook on their products before they'll guarantee it. Anything that needs a decent heat? -: forget it. Really think hard about what you want to cook before buying anything from this company
Purchased this set in Feb 2023 and didn't last two years with normal everyday use. The non stick coating started peeling and getting into the food which was a major health hazard and supposed lifetime warranty is a gimmick if it didn't even last two years. They heated evenly and were great for everything from pancakes to stir-fries, making them ideal for our busy family meals. The non-stick surface made for easy food release and clean-up, which I appreciated while juggling the demands of five adults and two kids.
Decline in Quality Unfortunately, after several months, I began to notice a decline in performance. The non-stick coating started to become sticky, making it difficult to cook without food adhering to the surface. This was incredibly frustrating, especially since I had chosen these skillets for their promised quality. The stickiness has made cooking less enjoyable and significantly more challenging, requiring adjustments to cooking times and techniques to avoid burning food.
Cleaning Cleaning the skillets, which was initially easy, has also become a hassle. The sticky surface now requires more effort and time to maintain. I’ve found myself soaking the skillets and using scrubbing pads to remove stubborn residue, which is disappointing for cookware that was supposed to simplify my cooking routine.
Warranty Issues Another major concern is the lifetime warranty. While it sounds appealing, my experience has shown that it’s essentially a scam. When I attempted to claim the warranty due to the issues with the non-stick coating, the process was incredibly convoluted and unhelpful. I faced numerous obstacles and a lack of support, making it clear that the warranty is not as reliable as it’s marketed.
Overall, the Essteele Per Salute Nonstick Induction Skillet Twin Pack started strong but has not maintained its quality over time. While they were great tools for the first few months, the decline in performance, issues with the non-stick coating, and frustrating warranty experience have left me disappointed. For a busy household, reliability and ease of cleaning are key, and unfortunately, these skillets have fallen short of those expectations. If you’re considering the Essteele Per Salute skillets, I would recommend looking into other options that offer better long-term durability and customer support. In a busy kitchen, dependable cookware should make life easier, not more complicated!

Barely last 3 years – We bought the set just under 3 years ago. The first year we were really happy with the pans. I still love the lids! However, the inside nonstick material started to bubble and peal off. clean , no harsh chemicals , no non stick spray and always have an in between felt cover to protect surfaces. These were not cheap . What a total waste of my money . I think I’ll try a cheaper option instead . Do not buy , absolute rubbish!
So far happy with Estelle Per Salute – I have replaced my Esteele Australis cookware after 25 years with the Esteele Salute the 5 piece set plus the casserole pot for my new induction cooktop. The lifetime warranty is a gimmick – I have three Per Salute pans, I large casserole, the large, deep frying pan and a French skillet. The French skillet has developed a coating over the nonstick and is now no longer nonstick. In fact, it is unusable as food simply burns in it. Esteele and they made me jump through several hoops and also provide a number of photos only for them to turn around and say that I had used the pan on too higher heat. I just have regular ceramic hotplates. I’m not using a gas wok jet burner. So, if you want a frying pan that you can’t use on a high heat like most other frying pans, then go for these ones. What a waste of money.

of this Essteele cookware makes perfect sense. This is what I guessed at that time after trying a shiny Saladmaster set and realised that it was terrible for glass cooktops. The heat conduction was so bad that the Saladmaster could not even work as well as the cheap unbranded cookware.
After 2 years, we are now completely convinced that this Essteele cookware set is really good. We do a lot of cooking every day with 3 meals per day. So, it is very heavily used. Heat conduction is really great relative to all the cheap pots and pans we had before. The heat is distributed very evenly as stated. The nonstick surface works well and does not peel off like those of cheap pots and pans. We just use normal dishwashing liquid and sponge just like before and I hardly see any degradation of the surface. The handles are still quite firmly attached. Unlike the cheap stuff which we had to replace every 2-3 years, we have a feeling that Essteele cookware will last a very long time.
Loved them, but not hard wearing – if you need hard wearing pans, these are not them. I really liked them for their other features, but my husband has dropped three (just as he’s taking it from cleaning rack to cupboard, and just once per pan) and they have bent a lot, I have other pans that have not bent if he’s dropped them. Great pans – I bought the 30 cm frypan as I wanted a good quality pan and it's been great. I'm not sure why the other reviewer is complaining. but that comes with stacking it with other pans and banging it in edges of narrowcupboards when getting it out. I'm happy - it's good quality.
Don’t buy for induction – I bought this 30cm Esteele per salute skillet as I have many other Esteele pots and pans that are 5 star. This one won’t get hot quickly or hot at all on the Miele induction cooktop like their copper base compatriots. Too light. Seems to be hotter around the outside where the oil runs to. wobbly shortly after I bought it. (I purchased from Myer in March 2020). I am very careful when I hand wash it and haven't dropped it. It pretty much sits on my stove top as I use it at least twice a day. After contacting Essteele's customer service regarding the fault/warranty I have had no response after a month. I understand we were in the thick of a pandemic however a month is a joke! Only when I commented on an advertisement on Facebook about my complaint I caught their attention and they did say they had a high volume of queries. It's now June and I still haven't heard anything back. If I were having problems placing an order surely I would have gotten a reply much sooner, of course they wouldn't want to delay any purchases coming through. They also sent me an email declining to publish my review on their website so here I am. It was a fair review based on my experience but clearly they want to maintain a clean image and don't want any negative but constructive reviews on their website. I'm disappointed and really frustrated with this company's product and customer service. I bought one pan to try them out and would have bought a set if they were to my liking. Such a shame as I really enjoyed cooking with it, the non stick coating is fantastic and it cooks very evenly. However given my experience I'm looking at another brand as I'm not confident that Essteele's products are worth the money and if there ever were a fault, I can't trust their service. After contacting Myer, they asked I return the product at their expense and offered me a full refund. So that's my review, I hope it helps others make a decision.
Beautiful light pan and non stick still going strong 11 months later – Lovely light pan (24cm frypan) to use and no need for any oil. Just give your food a little wriggle and it will slip straight out. Have been using now for 11 months and am extremely happy with the pan. scratches or marks and still looks like new. Handle never gets hot on stove top, but haven't tested it the oven as yet. For arthritic hands and weak wrists I couldn't be happier. Now looking to but another size to replace my big frypan.
Excellent frypan – I have the 30cm one and this is the one I now use most often. It heats evenly and the nonstick coating is still good almost a year after I got it and despite sometimes using it at high temperatures, we'll see if it continues to last. On sale it was only 40 dollars more than the vastly inferior Tefal ones at Target and worth every cent.
