Exelpet Fleaban Insecticidal Spray for Cats and Dogs Questions & Answers
Can I use fleaban insecticidal spray that is out of date
Can I use this product on my heavily pregnant cat?
No! Absolutely not! Its toxic! Ring vet if your cat is flea infested and get ur cat desexed. Unwanted kittens are a huge problem. Go online to the national desexing league of australia and organise a discount voucher. Instructions are on the website.
Good luck.
My cat is a pure bread her kittens are already homed but thankyou for youanswer on the flea product i asked about
Fleaban spray is for carpets and states on the bottle not to spray on animals why then are people saying they have sprayed their animals with it.?????
This particular product is to spray on your animals. It says 'spray on your animals' no reference to carpet. That is why- you may have a different product as I'm sure they make a carpet one too. This one has distinct instructions on how to put it on your animals
No on the inside label on the front of the exelpet fleaban it reads spray your pet from rear of animal through to the skin and fluff up fur maybe u didn't peal the label I feel so sad for the lady lost there kitty why is this product still on the market
Used this in my car and then read reviews about 5 min and then Washed it off her straight away after i read all the reviews. shes just been grooming herself. Would she be okay?
Hopefully as you washed it off pretty quickly, your cat will be okay. Keep an eye on her for anything unusual like drooling, tremors, vomiting and diarrhoea. Give your local vet a call to check on what to look out for, and whether just five minutes on the skin is low risk. Here's one link to some of the literature out there on pyrethrin toxicity in cats. external link
Why is this product still sold when it is toxic to cats?
greed and ignorance
Profit. It's always about the money I'm afraid.
Just like administering medication, always start with a low dose. INSTRUCTIONS state: "Alternatively,a cloth that has been dampened with the spray can be used".
Annie. This product is toxic to cats even in low doses. The label should not state that it can be used on cats And should state that it is toxic to cats.
My cat does not like this spray. From what I read this spray has not got a good review, I sprayed him and haven't seen him for 3 hours. Am I doing something wrong?
Your cat is probably asleep somewhere, the spray made my cat very lethargic. Try and find yor cat and wash it straight away or use a damp cloth to wipe off the spray.
Thank you for your answer , he came home this morning for breakfast but he doesn't look well , i will leave him and see how he goes or i will take him to the Vet, one thing i will never use their products again I will throw the rest of their products in the disposal
I just used it on my 1 year old cat, Milo and he threw up. I rinsed him off in the bath and he seems ok. Just grooming himself now. I feel guilty. Has this killed any cats? I will definitely not use it again - I'm just worried now if he'll be ok. Any advice?
If you read the other reviews yes it has
Did read, no comments of fatality.
I have used this spray on my cat just today... She went missing not long after and still has not returned home. I have since fed her and it's also heavily raining, both things that would usually ensure she came home. It's been about 8 hours since I've seen her. Should I be worried?
Did your cat ever come back?
