Sorry I bought this model – Last dish drawers lasted 15 years but this new model is very frustrating as cutlery rack too small. Dish racks very hard to fit the plates etc in and doesn't clean dishes as well as old model I always rinse my dishes first and with this model you have to. Very expensive Show details

Terrible model Lasts 1 to 2 years max – This machine has an inherent fault in the top drawer electronics which fails after 1-2 years of use. Bottom drawer is good and works well without issues. Beware spending extra money on this model as you have to bear the brunt of fixing it every now and then Show details

Terrible Customer care response and F1 error code – My FP has had an F1 error code …meaning it’s detected a leak somewhere within the machine. I’ve called customer service for a technician and they can’t do anything earlier then 4 weeks. My machine is just over 2 hrs old and a costly machine but the after care service is crap!!!! So, now I’m lodging for this review and contemplating buying… Read more

another brand asap!

I emailed their head office to complain about the terrible post sale service but no response and it’s 10 days now.

Don’t buy FP dishwasher they’re service record is appalling. Apparently because it’s a Chinese brand now owned by HAIER hence the drop in quality products and service.

Stainless steel is rusting – Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer EZKleen dishwasher. DD60DAX9 We purchased this dishwasher in August 2019. I really like this dish drawer dishwasher, it looks great in our kitchen and mechanically it still works great. But the stainless steel Cover now has rust spots. Unfortunately Fisher & Paykel will only replace the stainless steel cover with… Read more

stainless steel, and I suspect once I have the stainless steel cover replaced, it’ll just rust again. I should really be given a replacement dishdrawer dishwasher that is in black or white to avoid this happening. I would like to add that I do not live near the sea, I’m in a rural area and there’s only 2 of us here, the dishwasher is not used all the time. It is Always kept dry.

I’m not happy that I will have to replace the dishwasher Soon after I paid $1200 for it and I’ve only had it 8 months so far. I wish Fisher & Paykel would do more about this than just replace the cover. It’s not fair.

I won’t be buying any more fisher & paykel stainless steel appliances and I do not recommend them to anyone.

Such a great dual idea – Such a great idea having dual washing draws as our family soame times have extra family down meaning more dishes to be washed so we only use the one draw when it's just us but the other draw when we have more to wash saving water and power and easy to stack  Show details

No more dishes in the sink – We bought the fisher and paykel double draw dish washer for our new house and couldn’t be happier! It’s very quite in our open plan living room. So convenient to be able to use one drawer at a time or both when needed if entertaining. The only down side if any is that I needed to buy new chopping boards that would fit. Two thumbs up.  Show details

Love the 2 draws! – Replaced old dishwasher with the dishdraw! Was a nightmare to install....took hours. Like the idea of two smaller draws as I was always washing half loads in my old one - as it was full & smelly! Washes well. Is not loud. Dries dishes as well, really well, which is a bonus!!!  Show details

absolute junk! – This is the second failure in three years and the final straw with FP. The premium price is not consistent with premium quality. The First machine had a motherboard failure, and now the second machine had a mechanical problem with the bottom draw not closing, and then the top washer did not want to re-start after being paused during a cycle. not happy! Show details

Very bad performance – It was very stressful to see Fisher and Paykel dishwasher was not drying, cleaning properly and even leaving soap suds at end of the cycle so I had to use rinse cycle again but still there was soap suds. Happy to get return order though have not received full amount back yet.. Very bad performance for a costly appliance.  Show details

Terrible drying for an expensive dishwasher – Purchased this to match my appliances the builder got me but all I have had is disappointment with my F&P dishwasher. Does not wash well, does not dry, plastic interior has stained and looks like it's 10 years old. I had a fault with the dishwasher and because I used tablets they wouldn't repair it under warranty despite it being the electronics. Never again.  Show details

Great being able to do a small load. Come out very clean – The dishwasher is not too loud but could be quieter. Great to be able to clean small loads. Perfect for a couple with minimal dishes. The quick cycle cleans very well. The only negative is that if you want to do a full wash you need to use the two drawers so two washing tablets need to be used, so norpt economical in that instance.  Show details

Makes life easier – Hands down one of the best purchase of 2017. Two door so very handy for a small family. We usually pack up dinner and next day breakfast and leave it to run next day when the sun is up. So saves well with electricity. Has fast cycle for quick wash.  Show details

Perfect for us – This is our second dishdrawer set - the first lasted us at least 9 years of multiple-daily use (1 or 2 parts replaced in the last couple of years). We love being able to split up the load instead of having one big wash so you can run them at different times. It does a great job washing our dishes and looks nice. Controls are straightforward and the cycle is quite quick.  Show details

New Model is badly designed – I had an old double dish drawer that I loved and looked after for 18 years, many faults during that time but managed to keep it going with at least one unit working, till it finally gave up its ghost. The main problem was the electronic panels, but since they were two individual units, when one was playing up, I would rest it, change some… Read more

parts, and use the second one.

This new unit that I purchased last week (without checking, silly me) have only one panel... What happened to the old and great design, Fisher and Paykel? I am very disappointed and will not be buying another double dish drawer in the future once this one breaks down. I have put up with the old one not cleaning too well because I just loved the old unit, now it is time for a change next time...

Also the installer from Octapussy, was quick at installing but no idea nor interest about how the machine works. He just got the "job" done and was out of there... I will be looking for a person who loves his job in the future... And more than happy to pay for that.

My second two drawer by F and P – Having two draws is perfect for a family. It's stylish, easy to clean and the layout inside suits me. Cleans best with a good brand detergent and occasionally I will need to clean something that was poorly placed by other (or it could have been me. hehe). I do use tablets and place in the cutlery draw. Its not loud and is too easy to use. Love it.  Show details

Great for two people – We've had a F&P dishdrawer dishwasher previously and decided to get it again for our new kitchen and it is ideal for two people, also great to have the ability to put the two drawers on at same time when you have a party. are the flip-down high side shelves, they are positioned much higher than they used to be in our old F&P so don't seem to be able to get many items on them (most are too tall). Other than that, all good with this model, even prefer the new operating panel on the outside, very easy to navigate.

You don't always get what you pay for – This is a re-write of my review, which three years ago was positive. However, after three years owning this machine, I'm disappointed. In three years, it has needed two services. The first was for a known fault with the controller, and did not cost me anything. The second service was outside the warranty, and cost me $615! Ironically, Aldi had… Read more

dishwashers the same week, under $300 each. So for the cost of the service, I could have bought two of those. The dishwasher originally cost me $1400, so by any measure, it's not performing to expectations: it's the most expensive appliance I've ever bought, and the only one that's needed two services in its first 3 years. The reason for the service was something too large was placed in the bottom drawer, so when it started up it caused the problem. My fault, obviously, BUT, the item was a breadboard I regularly wash in the dishwasher. Why did this problem suddenly happen? I finally worked it out: the bottom drawer is shallower than the top one, but nowhere in the manual does it warn you about this. I just noticed recently (as I've become paranoid about anything near the top of the drawer) and was gobsmacked. People tend to wash the same items... wouldn't it make sense to warn people that what might go easily into the top drawer needs a bit of caution with the bottom? In any case, I'm disappointed. You spend more expecting to get what you pay for. I bought all new kitchen and laundry appliances around the same time as this. This cost almost twice the next-most expensive appliance. But it has not delivered, and I'm dreading the next thing to go wrong with it.

Genius! – We got this dishwasher recently and so far it has performed fantastically. I absolutely love the separate drawers and how much easier it is for me to organise me dishes. The only drawback I would say is that it can emit quite a loud sound when active. All in all we are quite impressed but time will tell.  Show details

Worked well...until it suddenly didn't. Hard to have issue resolved by company – This is the first dishwasher we have ever had. We purchased it as part of a kitchen reno and it started out very well and was pretty quiet. We actually rinsed most dishes before running the machine and almost always only used the top drawer once per day. We were very happy as it washed well and if you allowed the full cycle items came out dry. The… Read more

machine also didn't smell when opened, like a lot of others I have used in office workplaces etc. All was going very well until it just suddenly stopped a few weeks ago. Rang F&P and the serviceman came out a week later. He said he didn't have the exact part it needed, due to that part rarely ever having issues, but as he had already fixed one with the same issue that morning he had already used the one part he kept in stock. A week later and another man was sent out to replace the part, but he refused stating that he wasn't willing to take it out of the kitchen in case he damaged cupboards etc. So a week later we have struggled to remove the machine ourselves and are waiting on yet another callout to hopefully fix it. I wouldn't recommend any F&P for this reason, as I don't think customers should be required to remove such installations themselves. Dishwashers are almost always installed into cupboards, so their servicemen should be very confident in performing such tasks when their expensive products break down during warranty periods.

Just soooo quiet! – Great dishdrawer and we are so pleased with it. The kitchen/living are is all open plan and seriously - you can't hear it operating. And it is wonderful not having to bend to pack & unpack a dishwasher. We generally only use one drawer and on the quick cycle - but with guests use the second drawer - a great option. The quick cycle cleans averagely dirty dishes perfectly.  Show details

Convenient and washes great – Washes well using powder. The single drawer control changes between top and bottom setting automatically from the last one opened which is nice. to have 2 drawers. You can wash the one drawer with lighter stuff on a lighter wash the other with heavier of heavy wash. Don't need to wait to fill the whole dishwasher. Can always have one clean and one dirty. The new display is quite nice and all settings can be made on it now.

It's quiet although the dry cycle is a little noisy and keeps going until you open the drawer

Great dishwasher for small spaces – It is amazing! We bought this to replace our 10 year old dishdrawer. It is in our Butlers pantry so for such a tight space this dishwasher is perfect. Good lock feature. Easy to install. Looks impressive and this one can use powder or tablets whereas the older one only used powder. The cutlery tray is designed to stop the cutlery touching to get a better wash.

It has different cycle lengths and is not noisy.

Updated- it appears to have a few small dints in the front from our children bumping their ride on bikes on the front. The old dishwasher never dinted so this is annoying as the light reflects on the stainless steel exterior and shows up all the dints.

Love this product, it functions – This is our third dish draw. Once you have lived with one the rest seem quite archaic. our latest machine. With our old one a water pump died after 7 years, which isn't bad for a machine that was used day in day out. This machine is quite user friendly, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out which setting you need and now to use them. It's reasonably quiet, and has a easy to use delay function, even if the soft murmur does annoy you.

Fantastic 2 drawer dishwasher – Purchase about a month ago, love the 2 drawers as washing daily avoids kitchen smells. I found that some cycles didn't dry properly, so now I wash on the hottest setting which is working a treat. It's quiet to run which is important as we have an open plan lounge/kitchen area. Favourite feature is drawers, easy to load and unload. Would be good if I could buy half tablets as seems a waste putting full one in for a half load machine.  Show details

wash is on. But I find it doesn't clean well, there is often food left on the plates, despite rinsing before putting them in, this seems to be especially bad in the bottom drawer. Also for a busy family of six, the drawers fill up very fast and the design of the internal space seems cramped. The control symbols are small and hard to read. Overall I am disappointed, this is not worth the pricetag, I wish that Bosch did a similar design model, the drawer design is good.
