Reliable and very much ahead of its time – We have had our Izona cooktop since they were first released. Used daily for aprox 7 years. Never had 1 issue. Just now for the First time we have 1 igniter not glowing. Will replace igniter and keep the cooktop as it still looks ahead of its time. Faulty Izona – This product looks great, but has been nothing but trouble. Worst 3k u can spend - nothing but head ache. Not worth the price tag – We've had our cook surface for close to 2 years and between Feb - Aug 2012, a service technician has had to come to our home 6 times. There was a recurring issue with the ignition system for the 3rd burner (wok burner) where it would turn on fine, but turn off on it's own. I wrote to F&P to let them know I was fed up and they were apologetic saying they only had 1 technician in the whole of NSW who knew how to service this particular product! The last time they came out to fix it they had to replace the manifold but I will need to call them back as the 3rd burner isn't able to be set on low heat (works at medium & high only). We noticed this after the last service visit and I was reluctant to call them back yet again and have to find more time to accommodate another visit.

Other than that, the other two burners are working fine and the cooktop is easy to clean - just wipe up spills as soon as they occur to save you from having to scrub the glass. We cook a lot and we've found the layout of 3 burners in a row to be fairly efficient for everyday cooking. For larger gatherings we use electric frypans to supplement the burners.

For the price point, this is a very expensive product considering its unreliability - it looks the goods but doesn't quite deliver. Sleek design, easy to clean Unreliable

Glass top broken – After two and a half years and over $3000, the glass top just broke! Astonishing. As for the actual cooktop, with only three burners, you have to be constantly forward thinking in your cooking. Great cooking, terrible construction – We love the ease of cooking with the Izona, but we have had nothing but problems with the ignition and construction materials. We have had the cooktop for four years and have had all the ignition system and stands replaced. Glass top has broken even tho nothing dropped on it. Easy to clean and love the flat surface when the stands are lowered. Looks great Materials not up to standard, many parts have had to be replaced. Expensive.

Great flame control and it looks great – It was easy to install, the gas hobs offer very good high heat output, and very good low heat control. Its a little hard to clean but we are getting the hang of it. Its a modern, nice look an we like the hob position. Overall we are satisfied with the Izona. Its looks and the way it rises up. Overpriced
