Great for Steak – This is fabulous for cooking good thick steaks. No Oil need. Heat on high to sear the meat. It sticks and then when done on that side the meat releases. Turn it over and another 1min perfect Medium Rare steak. It is not a non stick the meat just releases. It is not for low temperature cooking. Once finished cooking some water whilst still on the stove on hot and the stainless self cleans. No Need for hard scrubbing. No Need to turn the BBQ on for good steaks anymore.

Hard work – Steak cooked on low heat will still mark this pan. To get the cooked remains out of the grooves takes a good 20 minutes to remove properly. I cook a lot and now use a cheeper pan that gives me the same result, without the the effort of cleaning 20 minutes after I finish each night. Spend $200 on a night out to the best restaurant in town and then buy a different item for $150 then buy this item.
Best Crisp fry pan – Fissler is real high quality German made cookware. I use this pan to pan fry steak, lamb chops & pork chops without oil. As long as you follow the cook technique, it never sticks & great result each time. Plus, it is really easy to clean, pour some water in, soak it for few minutes & ready to wash. No scrubbing required. Top quality pan! Very pleased. Perfect cooking & easy clean. Too expensive.
