The Stack Packs have changed my life. I had a cupboard full of plastics now amazingly I’m down to 1 draw. I use them for everything and love been able to use them in the dishwasher. This is my second set I have purchased, I still need to add to my oven ware set. I tell everyone about them especially my clients. So thank you for making my life easier I wouldn’t have done it without you greatly appreciated. Show details ·  1

Ordering was simple and informative. Postage was quite quick and items were well packed. I absolutely love my tidy kitchen drawers now without bulky containers and lids. I have found these sizes to be really handy as well. Show details ·  1

We are using flat stack containers of different sizes in our van as we are travelling and can go from freezer to fridge or cupboard and squeeze down to give more room and hold more than you think and are the first container I get out to use as they also save space and light Show reply

Love the flat stacks. They save so much space and keep our cupboards looking organised. Love that you can concertina them for storage. We have their ovenware too which are fantastic. And they have excellent customer service, had one container break and they replaced it under warranty straight away. I doing even have to send the broken one back, just sent them a photo. Great Aussie family business. Show reply

OK but lid seals need to be better – Bought my first pack (Rectangle Value pack for $107) in February 2024, then a package of Signature Set with Air Fryer ovenware set ($149) in May 2024 and loved the way they stacked in my drawer. Washed them in the dishwasher and 99% of the time no problems with the seal inside the lid. But the lid of one flat pack (pale green) lost its seal and so… Read more ·  1

I pushed it back in. Next time into the dishwasher, seal came out and was stretched so it wouldn’t fit into the lid. Contacted Flat Stacks and a new pale green lid (or maybe the whole flat pack not sure) is being sent to me as they are under warranty. The set of three oven proof flat stacks, dark blue, with a different lid system are fine. My question would be how many others have the problem of the lid’s seal coming out and stretching. Are these flat stacks really dishwasher proof? There are other, identical flat stacks, from a well-known international store, available sometimes and I should have bought more of them.

Great to look at, but not practical for everyday use – suckers that got influenced into buying multiple sets so my drawer would look just like the pictures. Yes, they look great in my Tupperware drawer, easy to organise, compact and colourful. But practically for everyday use, they do not stack up compared to old school containers. They are not completely leak proof, you need to be careful with… Read more

liquids. Due to their collapsible nature, they can also be flimsy sometimes. The lids are tricky and flimsy to clip on. They do not keep things fresh for as long as regular plastic or glass containers. Just as annexample, Flat stack containers would barely keep my crackers fresh for a week in them, but my glass or plastic ones would easily keep my crackers fresh for up to 4 weeks! It can also be frustrating using multiple flat stacks in the fridge or cupboard. Because you could not see through them, you would have to pull out every single container to peep through the top to see what it is.

I am now transferring a lot of these flat stacks to my caravan, because yes they are easier to store, but not good for everyday use in the home. I'm slowly going back to old school glass containers because when it comes down to it, they are the best containers of all.

useful - but I wouldn't have bought so many if I knew this – I took a special offer to get the rectangular signature set along with some smaller and bigger ones and 3 black oven proof ones as well, and there are some things I wish I knew before I went so large. These are decent quality containers that of course pack small and are therefore convenient where space is short and are microwave and dishwasher… Read more ·  1

proof. I watched for warping and while I'm careful not to leave the lids in for too long in the microwave (because they're some sort of rigid plastic which I judge may be more susceptible to heat), the bases are pretty much indestructible, and I have not had any issues with warping of the lids either. I've now stopped washing the lids separately and put them through the dishwasher every time with no ill effects so far.

Rarely the rubber beading round the lid can come off, but it goes back on pretty easy.

Sometimes the lid is very difficult to snap back on. With one of my larger ones, that's too wide for me to squeeze with one hand, I could not get the side snaps to click in, making the lid pretty much unusable for a time for that container. I tried dozens of times to position the lid as carefully as I can but the side snaps would not lock down. I finally got a lid on it by positioning the container flat against the worktop back stop and applying strong even pressure along its length. Mostly they're fine but sometimes you need to get inventive, but at least the lids lock on very solidly.

The pressure release valve is not as effective. If you press down hard on the lid the internal atmosphere will escape through the valve. It's really just a rubber plug and is not really strong enough to allow the containers to be tipped upside down or jostled around excessively, but it's good enough for all the food related tasks I found I needed and it's going to be fine for camping too as long as you attempt to keep the containers somewhat level. Or you can freeze in them of course, another convenient use-case.

It's worth pointing out that the containers collapse easily. This is one of their features, but when the container is full of hot gravy or casserole it can still collapse if you're not careful. When trying to put a lid on (sometimes quite tough as mentioned) it can also start to collapse if you put pressure at the wrong angle which doubles your difficulty if it's full of some near boiling liquid. This doesn't stop them being useful at all, but it's worth noting that they require careful handling at times and lifting them out of the microwave with an oven glove or tea towel only by the lips of the container, not by grasping the sides, is something you have to learn to do, and the sides can also deform, spilling the contents.

I recommend the black ones. These are the second generation that are microwave, dishwasher and oven proof as well, including the lids. The lids are soft rubber rather like the base and as such do not click on and "seal" as well as the coloured ones with the rigid lids, but I really appreciate the advantage of being able to shove the container in the actual oven with lid on if that's what I need to do.

Overall these are not really going to replace a proper metal baking dish, but I'm glad when I need to bake something up from frozen I can just dump the prepared portion in the black latex container with lid to avoid splatter and bake it up to temperature in the gas oven, and then the container goes into the dishwasher afterwards. I will actually put the latex container on a metal tray when I do this, to simplify taking it out of the oven without running into delicate issues preventing it from collapsing or deforming while I take it out full of hot food.

So if you want to save space these will certainly do that, but you may find a quality rigid container that is also microwave and ovenproof is slightly more practical if space saving is not so important. However, no rigid plastic container can beat the black oven proof ones which will "go anywhere", except an open flame, I presume (haven't tried ;-)

Whilst I really love the concept of Flat Stacks I can't give a 5 star review. They're great for things that DON'T go stale & soft as such (think biscuits & cakes). I stored a packet of biscuits in them & the biscuits were stale & soft within two… Read more

days. All clips were done up & the vent completely down & they still went stale. I thought it was just the batch of biscuits so I got another packet & put half in the SISTEMA containers & the other half in a Flat Stack & two days later, once again. The Flat Stacks sent them stale while the Sistema ones were fresh as a daisy and still are a week later.

I've regret rehoming my expensive Tupperware now as I thought Flat Stacks were going to be much better but unfortunately I was wrong.

I reached out to Flat Stacks to see if I was doing something wrong & I have heard nothing.

Follow-up  · After writing this review Flat Stacks finally sent me an email. I've tried the hints & tips that they suggested & they worked with some food items but not all. I've resorted to purchasing a couple more Sistema products for the things that went stale in the Flat Stacks & will continue to use my Flat Stacks for less perishable items.

I bought a this signature set and a 3 piece oven set. They are the best product. Threw out a lot of Tupperware when I got my STACKS. Have had them for six months and I broke a seal on one and they replaced it, no questions. I’m so happy with the product and service and a five year guarantee. Show details ·  1

I have over time collected a lot of Flat Stacks, and really love them. They save so much room and are easy to care for. I have purchased a number of extra sets, and when a granddaughter or granddaughter-in-law have their bridal shower, I always include some Flat Stacks in the gift for them. Show reply

We ( yes, my husband loves Flatstacks too!) use our flat stack at home and in the caravan. They save so much space (and weight). It’s easy to marry the lids with the bases thanks to the colour coding. I’ve even cooked the odd cake in the ovenware! Just love the range and the products. Service is terrific too. Show reply

These containers have saved me so much space. They’re perfectly sized for the things I need to store, whether it’s in the fridge or the freezer. They’re much better quality than the ones I bought from a competitor too. I love the fact that they’re silicone too, so they won’t get broken like glass ones. I simply won’t use plastic for food storage… Read more ·  1

Delivery from Flatstacks was amazingly quick, and their customer service is excellent. When I had a problem, it was rectified the same day.

I’m highly delighted all round, and I’ll be adding to my collection as time goes by.

I have bought the storage containers and cookware for my daughter. And WOW the fruit and veges last weeks in the fridge, and keep everything fresh in the pantry without that “plastic “ smell. And the cookware is amazing, she can put together meals together ahead of time and freeze and then cook (in the air fryer or oven) when required. I would recommend them to everyone oh and they flatten to take up next to no room. Show details ·  1

I find not only does Flat Stacks save you space on the cupboard shelf, it saves space on the fridge shelves too. I store all my fresh produce in them after I have cut the veggies etc into portion size (enough for two to four ppl). while keeping the contents fresh. It works equally well for freezing. Also I can store Flat Stacks on there side when my fridge has bulky stuff in it as seal is so good ( and I can also use the compressed on the side, eg block cheese is a great example just place the container on its side and compress the container down as the cheese is used.

Absolutely love the flat stacks. Quality is amazing, packs flat in my drawers and doesn’t take up much room at all. Cleans well in the dishwasher and doesn’t seem to stain from tomato based dishes. Going to use these for the caravan where space is at a premium. Highly recommended these. Show details ·  1

I love these they take up hardly any room compared to regular containers in a draw or cupboard. They are great also in the fridge as when you use some of the contents you can make them smaller and stack them up. I also have some oven proof flatstacks they're great in the air fryer and oven. Very pleased with them. Thanks Flatstacks. Nadine Show reply
