Printing starts becoming very light or faded for all colour, then suddenly the print starts to make grinding noises for about 5 minutes, after that printing becomes sharp and vibrant again. Earlier I tried all cleaning options from the printer setting utility but there were no improvement at all. What did the print do when it starts to make grinding noises? How do I manually start such cleaning operation?
Not picking up paper. Paper is OK, no paper jam, size guides correctly adjusted. Don't want to ditch this printer. Any suggestions how to fix this?

No, I couldn't resolve it. So I sent the printer to e-waste recycling, and bought a Brother printer. Happy with it so far, but my use requirements are slight.
