My trust faithful m205b is making a nasty clicking noise . Starts a little after In turn it on, then when the paper feeds through and the it jams. Any ideas? I have cleaned the rollers, checked for anything in the paper trail from the back.
Hi Ruth S. I am guessing your faithful Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P205B has done a lot of hard printing as it is getting quite old. I actually bought 2 at the time, many years ago. I am now on #2 as #1 started to pick up multiple pages at a time. Like you I cleaned it out, even vacuumed it out, but couldn't correct it. I think yours is just worn. Maybe time to look for another one. Unfortunately the P205B is no longer available. Hope that helps ~but not much!

'filter failed' message with Docuprint M205 b. I have tried resetting and deleting then reinstalling printer to no avail. I am using IMac & recently updated to Catalina in OS. This problem has only arisen in the last 24-28 hrs
Hi Jan G. That is interesting because you are the 2nd person to have 'filter failed' although I haven't myself. Re setting, deleting and re installing is certainly the way to go. The only other suggestion I have is to contact Fuji Xerox (they are usually very helpful.) Jhoy, I have absolutely no idea as I am not aware the P205b has a filter - suggest you contact Fuji.

My Docuprint P205 b has paper jammed behind one of the rollers in the back. You can just see the very edge where it is doubled over, and can just get a grip with tweezers, but it is jammed so tightly that it is impossible to pull out. It is the entire sheet. I think I would need to somehow open the cabinet from the top. Any ideas how to do this would be helpful.
Hi Jackie, Sounds like you are right that it needs to be dismantled to get the sheet of paper out. I would suggest you take it to your nearest computer repair store and see if they can help.

So is mine, I throw it away four years ago.
It may just be geese off the rollers. Run some more plain paper through the printer and see it it disappears.

I throw it away, four year ago. It keeps paper jammed for every 20 pages I printed. And you have to waited for 30 minutes to cool down.

Your Fuji Xerox DocuPrint P205B is getting very old. Buy another printer because I don't understand you question.

Yes I have had the same issue some time ago.
Suggest you remove paper and toner.
then disconnect everything from PC and power.
Wait 5 minutes,
then put toner back, reconnect everything and keep your fingers crossed.

Did you use genuine Fuji Xerox ? Unlike 'look alike' toners the genuine product for the P215 b is unique.
Yes. It turns out that it was the quality of the document I was trying to print. It looks fine on screen but doesn't print well. Other documents are printing fine.

Hi I have a Fuji Xerox Docuprint M205b printer and It has stopped working. I cannot print from a USB as I follow the instruction it asks for print format and I choose auto it gives me an error. From my laptop it is not shown in printers list in devices section and when I installed the driver it says the printer is not installed. please help.

I have FX DocuPrint P115 w. In the middle of printing, the light turned orange and remained that way. I cant print anymore. What's the problem?
Jessica, thank you for your inquiry re your P115W My printer is actually a Fuji Xerox P205 b not a P115W. While I am not familiar with your printer i suggest: You turn it off; Unplug ALL the cables, including power cable;
Ensure there is no little pieces of paper stuck anywhere in the print train;
Give it a good shake;
Reconnect all cables;
Insert new, clean paper;
Try printing again.

hi my printer keep on initializing when i try to print.. it got the normal rolling sound when i turn it on but when i try to print something it didnt print..and the light was green. Any help?
Only thing I can suggest is to turn it off, unplug everything, delete the software - and start the process again.

OMER, If it is a genuine Fuji Xerox new toner cartridge that shouldn't happen. Suggest yo check to ensure you have the NEW cartridge in. Take it out and tap it a few times on a hard surface then replace. If the problem still persists sent the new cartridge back and request a replacement.
