Sweet as :) – Still works a treat after all the years I've had it... Nearly 12... Purchased 1/9/2012... Simple installation with the power cable left plugged into the back of the unit... Turn the car off & the Garmin counts down before switching itself off... GPS signal strength is awesome, as proven by a recent trip to Sydney which had me in a tunnel under Sydney Airport for about 10 minutes without a dropout... Came out of the tunnel with less than 20 minutes to my destination's closing time & made it there, checked into my accommodation & parked the car in the on-site lot all before close... Works brilliantly in any major city or country town... Never been outback with it

Purchased in for $243.

works well – I have the above unit. I works well and does what I wish it to do,BUT there is still stuck in there the Gamin USA I use this and find it all OK. I download updates each week and it is very easy to do so thru the Gamin website

Purchased in for $50.

Maps just plain wrong – Updated from a very basic Navman S30. The Garmin sent me up a street that has been closed off for over 20 years, the local Hospital does not appear at all, Other Hospitals that have been closed for years are still available in the menu, this is a real worry if you want the closest ER. Back to the old Navman, I thought Garmin was one of the best , wrong Great looking unit ,all the mod cons It can have all the features under the sun but if the mapping is no good its a tea coaster!
