Wanted to like this a whole lot more – Upon seeing the device for the first time, one is impressed by the slimline design of this GPS unit, especially in comparison to my clunky Tomtom which was at the time driving me nuts. I did some research and I had concluded this was a good buy, and a family member could get it where she worked for cost price. However, the device is not overly intuitive. Simple things like volume are hidden in hard to find menus. The most annoying thing for me is not being able to select an intersection as an address if you don't know the exact street number (at least, I can't figure how to do this). It's also not obvious how much battery life is left. I really don't like how searching a point of interest works. You should be able to search by either where you are now, or where you are going to end up. Instead it just searches from current location. Finally I was disappointed this model didn't include lifetime map updates as did quite a few of Garmin models. It also seems to drop GPS signal easily if it is not displayed on the windscreen. The cost was also pretty high still (over $300). Slimline, it shows the individual lanes when coming up to a freeway exit. As mentioned above, quite a lot. Some basic things don't seem to be available or at least difficult to find.

Feature much needed to day is a "average speed button"to cope with "average speed cameras" I have a "ASC" for 90km of my daily commute. A simple 1 touch button to show the average speed between cameras would be heaven. My car shows less than the speed because I changed wheels.
