I have used them maybe 4 times, i don't see why everyone has an issue, read the contract, all hire companies are the same, i used a van, great on fuel, and quite new, easier than a ute as all covered and locked up, but you will be hard pressed to beat the price they charge, compared to the others, just my opinion but hassle free and 1 way option worked for us at a price that worked.

Some of the reviews are really shocking. As a driver for Go with the Gecko. I've picked up some really dirty vehicles from customers who did not read the sign that is clearly stated on the front bottom left side of the window in all our vehicles, that they be cleaned after use, photos front rear all 4 sides & odometer reading from hired customers. We are nation wide. So if there are no vehicles at the time of booking, they will become available depending on return from hired customers. Overall, the team at Go with the Gecko are an amazing crew & staff who handle everything from good & bad. To all the bad reviews. Try us again. You definitely won't be sorry & especially from the team themselves who are very professional & well spoken & who definitely put there customers first.

Respectfully, there are employees who are extremely helpful and respectful. However, as soon as a dispute arises you are aggressively spoken to, blatantly lied to, threatened with false charges for missing images recieved and hung up on mid sentence.

The pre-hire photos are denied access to and the company charges you without consulting you of the results from investigations first.

Extremely unprofessional and Fair trading + ACCC are thankfully already onto it.

I would strongly advise not to use this service - as experienced by the customer in the above review - we also faced false accident charges - six weeks after our vehicle and deposit return. Funds were then taken from our account via unauthorised transactions - which I notice in this review thread has happened to other customers. We are now pursuing this as a criminal matter. It has been very time consuming and has been costly engaging legal representation - but it was the only option we had - other than filling out a fraudulent insurance claim form as we were being pressured to do. We have also filed with the ACCC. Please save yourself a huge headache a hire a truck from a more reputable company.
