family. We had the opportunity to explore so many beautiful waterways, including Sydney Harbour, Pittwater, and stunning locations like Smiths Creek. We even spent a few nights on board, swimming with the kids, relaxing, and making some wonderful family memories.

We were members of the 44-foot class, and the boats were very well cleaned, equipped and maintained. Whether it was cooking a barbecue, preparing meals on the stove, or using the onboard shower, everything you needed for a comfortable day or overnight trip was there.

One of the biggest highlights was the training. Pacific Boating allows you to attend as many training sessions as you need, which gave me the confidence to safely manoeuvre and operate a vessel of this size. Learning to handle a 44-foot boat was something I’d always wanted to achieve, and thanks to their excellent training, I accomplished that goal.

Boat availability was also excellent. As long as you booked ahead, I never had any issues securing a boat.

The staff were always friendly, professional, and happy to help. A special thank you to Adam Price, who looked after me throughout my entire membership. He was always approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure members had a great experience. The rest of the team were also fantastic and always willing to assist.

From a financial perspective, the membership represents excellent value. When you compare it to the costs of owning a boat—such as purchase price, maintenance, insurance, servicing, and mooring fees—it makes a lot of sense. You get all the enjoyment of boating without the ongoing hassles and expense of ownership.

Although my membership has now come to an end, I wouldn’t hesitate to join Pacific Boating again in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to experience boating without the commitment of owning a boat and the amazing walk on walk off service. It was 6 years well spent, and I’m grateful for all the great memories my family and I made along the way.

through all our bags (without asking) and taking all our food out of them before we were allowed on the boat. He then put the food in the galley and told us we were not allowed there without permission. So like infants we had to ask permission when we’re hungry to eat. He also found that it was his place to tell people how they should cater and demanded the girl who’s bday it was that he will need to dock so she could buy more food because he thought she did not cater appropriately. She felt very confronted and worried she was going to spoil everyone’s time. These were just a couple of instances of the exchanges but overall he was a domineering and fairly unhappy person and when asked why he didn’t just ask everyone what they wanted was defensive and angry and threatened to dock. Was a nice day on the water but every single person on the boat ( around 30) all agreed won’t be using that particular boat ever again.

We go every week and we find the trivia games are really fun, full of variety with different categories, fabulous funny host, and all leads to a great night out

wedding at 2pm on the eve of the wedding, the booking confirmation arrived by email with a 5-seater stretch (think gangster) Jaguar confirmed. No prior warning, no apology, a very aggressive [Name Removed] on the phone when my daughter phoned him. The other two amazing and professional companies we used for a replacement Rolls and 5 x BMWs said Allure Limousines do this all the time - they double book the Rolls and send an alternative so late there is no other option. They will tell you it's their most popular car. This company is shoddy, aggressive and predatory in their tactics. A bit of Googling and asking for recommendations gave me Holidays Afloat as a clear front runner in the field and they did not disappoint. They are very helpful in the lead up to going away, lovely and very helpful staff when you get there and checking in as you’re on your journey and then when we got back to a flat battery they saved us an NRMA callout by giving us a jump start. She did absolutely nothing for the wedding, the MC overheard the exchange (not knowing the family dynamics) and suggested to the father of the groom to make another speech to toast just the mothers without the bridal couple knowing or giving permission.
