Definately give this a try – I've been using this for several years now combined WITH the other products as recommended by my hair loss consultant. ( ie loniten and minoxidil.) I really don't believe it would work on it's own to grow all your hair back. This product may not be as strong as other products available (?) but it's heaps cheaper !! Seems to always be on sale at… Read more

Chemist Warehouse, so for the dollars I'd give it a go. I've had no side affects. Don't try to solve your hair loss alone. I would recommend going to a hair growth business. Expensive, but I like having hair. ; )

No visible hair gained! – After using Hair A Gain product for approximately 6 months, I have not seen any hair growth compared to JSHealth hair and energy capsules which did provide some hair growth to say the least. Hair A Gain is expensive imo and although I did not experience any hair loss or scalp irritations from this product, I certainly didn't gain any additional… Read more

hair growth either. It's a shame because I really would have liked to say something more positive about Hair A Gain, however it was a waste of time and money for me.

Great product – Very happy with results. I have found this product better and significantly cheaper than other better known products. You need to stick to it though for more than a few months. Hair can feel crunchy but hey I'd rather have crunchy hair than no hair. Show details

its the chemical and strength as regain - but way cheaper – not sure why people have given bad reviews, i guess if your hair fell out (it was probably going to anyway) you'd be annoyed.... seems to have stopped mine from thinning further.

Works for me. Been using this since 2010 – I started using Hair-a-gain in 2010 and it works very well for me. I get good hair re-growth and it has stopped further hair loss. I did initially get an itchy scalp and flakey skin, but that settled substantially after a few months. I also wash my hair most mornings and that helps with the itching/flakey skin. I apply the product at night. Prior… Read more

to this I used Rogaine but this causedy my scalp to be very itchy and irritated. Rogaine is also significantly more expensive.

Not for everyone – This product is not for everyone i think. Didn’t work on my hair. Its been seven months that i am using it. Waste of time and money. Maybe try a better brand.

Terrible never use this product ! – Terrible never use this product ! It has been a nightmare since I decided to use this, my scalp had an adverse affect, it literally burned when I applied it and now for the last 3 weeks, I can't stop itching day and night and for the first time in my life (at 40 years old )I have embarrassing dandruff ! I've had to buy Derm Aid and Telfast to try… Read more

and treat it and still not working. I have not had any issues when using the more expensive competitor brand. I am seeking compensation as will now have to pay to see a dermatologist. Not happy !

This ruined my hair – Horrible product, made my head really itchy all the time. Then my hair start falling. Before i start, i only had thinning hair on the right side. After use, my whole front head has become really thin with bald line This product made your head itch so much. I stopped after 4 months and realised it was not regaine product i was after (same packaging). It's generic brand, now i switch to use regaine, no itching side effect.

Side effects – I used this product for 3 months. My hair started to regrow after 1 month and after 3 months my bald areas were no longer visible. It worked very well for me. Unfortunately I had to stop using the product due to side effects which included dry, itchy, flaky scalp, dizziness and my vision was disturbed.

The best – I have been using this product since 2006 it does work but if you stop using after three months your hair will fall more than before so as long as you want your hair you most keep use it and you have to use it twice a day so can work 100%.

Works!!! – after 2 weeks, i shed some hair. after 3 months, my wife was amazed and said that she cant see my scalp anymore and that my hair is growing!!! 4 months down the track and i cant see any more baldness. cheap, easy to use have to get up early to put it on, wait to dry before i can use my normal hair products.

OK – might continue if it works after 4 months. its cheap but shedding is worrying at the start. most probably delays the hair loss rather than actually growing new hair. easy to apply. cheap. 4 months no result. initial shedding is worrying but has not worked in 3 months

Good – Its a great product i think the reason it doesn't work for some is because it's quite annoying to put on day and night but the end result is very much worth it. The sooner you do it the better chances of it working... It worked!! it grew back my hair about 50-60% which is better than nothing.. its only $85 from chemist warehouse for a pack of 5… Read more

compared to the other brands its cheaper and it works. as like everybody else didn't like the dropper but otherwise it is great.

Good – In only three months my hair has dramatically stopped falling and it looks much stronger and thicker. My before and after photos are my proof. I also use a laser brush 15 minutes per day and shampoo every two days with the delicate Baby Johnson Shampoo. My scalp itchiness and dandruff have also gone. It actually works. Easy to apply, not expensive. maybe the dropper, but could not suggest anything better..

Good – Very good product. I would immediately halve the recommended dose and put it on at night only. The manufacturer probably wouldn't be happy to hear that:) Easy to apply and it does work over time after an initial shed! Much cheaper than rogaine.I was using it only once per week and still got regrowth after about 6 or 7 months,I was trying to avoid… Read more

all possible side effects. I think 2 ml per day is waaaaay too much. Try just putting it on 1ml at night for starters. Some side effects.using 2ml per day dropped my blood pressure and made me dizzy.Remember that if you have a shed a couple of weeks after starting it, it's most likely working for you and is kick starting the growth cycle.

OK – Low price and OK performance, but if you have sensitive skin, steer clear. The initial hair loss was quite disconcerting, sorta defeats the purpose. Cheap price, somewhat effective Makes my scalp very irritated & itchy. Plus, I lost hair initially (for a few weeks)

Terrible – i have used the product for over 4 months and it has resulted in significant shedding and hair loss. i cannot see any new hair growth nor can my hairdresser. the makers say to continue however i feel that by now i would at least see some new hair growth and my hair is now looking dull and lifeless. i don't think it is worth it. am hoping that my hair will at least grow back to what it was. easy to apply product is not working
