Happycall IH Titanium Double Pan

Perfect steak without the huge mess! – I ordered this pan with low expectations, but I was so wrong - it is awesome! Old way of cooking a steak properly involved pre heating heavy based pan till it's smoking, then a huge splattery mess, that coats the cooktop, tiles, your arm, everything. But, you get a good steak. Or, outside to the bbq in 3 degree winter night. I was over both those options. With this pan, you get the good steak, but the preheat is 30-60 seconds, and with zero mess! I had two huge porterhouse cuts about an inch thick, did four minutes per side, could have done three, it was bordering on medium well and I like medium rare. It didn't have that charred effect, but there was a nice crispy caramelised finish on the meat, which surprised me- I wouldn't have thought it possible in a sealed pan. Also, the cooking fumes are hugely reduced and my entire house didn't stink of cooking meat for hours afterwards. Seasoning the pan before first use is very easy, just a light coating of oil and a moderate heat. The handle stayed cool to touch and I just checked the little drain tray before I flipped it and wiped it out with a paper towel. It's light, but that does not equate to flimsy, it's solid and we'll put together. The gold standard for cookware used to be cast iron= heavy=good. But his is a whole other concept. It works exactly as the videos show, cleans up super easily, comes apart and re-joins without fuss. Post steak clean up time was halved because my cooktop and splashback stayed clean! It's early days, but I bought it mainly for the reasons above and I couldn't be happier. I just need to get my head around how hot this pan gets and how fast it happens; and adjust my timing. Can't wait to try the baked potatoes - we don't have an oven atm, due to upcoming reno. I am confident after the steak experience that they will turn out perfectly. I used a portable induction cookplate.

Non-stick durable Titanium coating Happycall Double Pan create cooking motivation – I tried to find a non-stick frypan or wok to replace my old one, since all the scratches which the coating is not durable. I end up finding this prefect little one Happycall Titanium Double Pan. It can cook both side and has oven effect that I can make roast chicken or pizza easily at home. It cost just very tiny bit of oil and low heat but can make very unbelievable beautiful dishes, more importantly, very easy to clean. I like the non-stick and the titanium coating is extremely durable since I have used it for nearly 2 years. I am very please that my mum love this double pan too, so then she can make cakes can claypot rice for me too. It also has recipes provided on its website, encouraging cooking creative btw.
