After seeing Hexclad promoted for months on Instagram, finally ordered the full set. I think it was $1,189.. Looked amazing, packaging was premium, followed care instructions to wash and season pans. The non stick is non existent. Thought it might improve with use.. nope just kept getting worse. Save your money and buy stainless steel for… Read more
longevity or Hard anodized for non stick. Please save your money and don’t get any cookware from Hexclad. (The large stockpot is good, soups and pasta etc works well with good heat conduction and retention.. when you don’t need non stick)
Got these for my birthday and they are extremely expensive and rubbish, have had them 60 days and hex clad say that it’s not their problem that the pans are rubbish and that everything sticks to them so the lifetime warranty is a joke, I hope this review finds people that are considering these pans. I make pancakes every morning for my autistic… Read more
son and these pans have made it impossible so I have to go out and buy another pan and then go through some kind of process with fair trade to get my money back on these rubbish pans.
Terrible customer service. The frying pan I ordered from HexClad turned out to be useless for my needs – food sticks, it heats unevenly, and it’s nothing like the ads. I’ve tried multiple times to return it and get a refund, but the company keeps stalling and saying they’re “fixing” their return system. It’s been over a month and still no… Read more
solution. Meanwhile, they’re keeping my money and offering nothing in return. Not what I expected from a brand that markets itself as premium. Would not recommend based on my experience.
I fell for the spiel on the Hexclad website and purchased one of their frying pans. I wish with all my heart that I'd saved my money. To put it bluntly, the frying pan is absolute garbage. It doesn't perform as Hexclad says it does because everything I've cooked in it so far has stuck to it. Everything. I followed the instructions that came… Read more
with this frying pan to a T. I washed it as directed, I seasoned it as directed, and although it's supposedly dishwasher safe, it has only ever been washed by hand. It has been seasoned and re-seasoned in a desperate attempt to achieve 'non stick' nirvana (and to justify the exorbitant purchase price) but to no avail. I have also tried using different levels of heat and food still sticks to it.
I contacted Hexclad (no email address, you have to record an audio message) about the sticking issues. I received a half smart response telling me to do the things I've mentioned above - season, lower the heat, etc. I was also informed that their warranty only covers "defects that affect the use and functionality of the cookware" (I guess STICKING food doesn't count as a defect) which is obviously Hexclad speak for 'you're up sh*t creek!!
Please take a look at the photographs I've attached to this review. I cooked prawn dumplings in the Hexclad pan and a Stonedine Hybrid pan, using the same amount of oil and the same heat level. The one with dumpling wrapper stuck to it is the Hexclad!! I rest my case.
HexClad pans STICK and are a waste of money – IF I could rate them less than one star I would. What a waste of money. I am pedantic about my cookware and take care of my cookware. I followed ALL instructions to the T and they stick. Don't be fooled by their misleading advertising. These pans are not even good enough for an egg. I have had a much better result from the Woolworths TEFAL pan… Read more
for $30-$60, rather than paying $700+ for the hexclad set. I will be seeking action through consumer affairs to get a refund. False advertising. Anyone who promotes it as non-stick should be ashamed.
- +1
Hexclad Frypans are Absolute Rubbish – Absolute Rubbish. The company is blatantly engaged in false and misleading advertising. You cannot cook anything in these pans without it sticking. Buying them was a complete waste of money. Their support staff are rude and they do not accept returns or provide refunds. Hexclad is a misleading & Deceptive company. The lifetime warranty is meaningless.
