So disappointed in these pans. Serves me right for believing celebrity endorsements. You can hear Gordon Ramsey state, “If you want the performance of Stainless Steel The versatility of cast iron and the convenience of non-stick Then you want hexclad” Ahhh, no you don’t I’m kicking myself for falling for his endorsement These pans are not non-stick. They are cleverly marketed as hybrid, however they do not improve your cooking experience. The non-stick is only slightly nonstick after the addition of a shed load of fat, but it’s still not non-stick.

I’m so disappointed in my hexclad. I should not have listened to Gordon Ramsey. It’s ok for him to waste over a thousand dollars on cookware, but its a different story if you don’t have a grand to loose. Buy for life is what sold me - seemed like quality and an improved cooking experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. Keep your money people. Don’t waste it on listening to celebrity hype.

Purchased for $1,299.

Very disappointed in results after 7 months of use – So disappointed in this purchase. I saved up to buy a "premium" set of pans, and obviously should have done my homework better. You simply cannot cook anything other than meats successfully in these pans, and even there you need to constantly move the pieces around to get even cooking. Eggs stick like they are being paid to, it is impossible to make an omelette in any of the pans. Heat distribution across the base is uneven, and the pans' bases are all convex (with the exception of the wok), making it difficult to cook sauces, and resulting in a central area that burns.

The coating is still in place after seven months of use, and the pans are usable, they are just not non-stick, and do not provide the ease of use experience that the marketing suggests they will.

Purchased in for $679.

Best Frying Pans I have EVER owned! – I almost didn't purchase these frying pans and 32cm Chefs pan because of bad reviews, however a friend of mine (who is a real foodie) bought the 30cm frying pan and after a few months, I asked her what it's like. She said it's the best frying pan she has ever owned, she uses it every day! After this glowing review I went ahead and ordered the 30cm frying pan with lid to try the brand out for myself and I was so impressed, that I then ordered the 32 Chefs pan with lid and the 30cm griddle. Finding all of them to be exceptional cookware, I then went ahead and bought the set of 3 x frying pans and the Wok (all with lids) for my son and his wife, for a house warming gift for their first home.

I don't know where the people who are posting bad reviews for this product are buying it from, because I have found it the best cookware I have ever used. Just make sure you buy it where I did, directly from HexClad's website listed on this review.

NOTE: I didn't try the saucepans because I already have an excellent, stainless steel, very high quality French brand range, which will last me a lifetime.

Update... My son, whom I bought the frying pan & Wok set for as a housewarming gift, also loves these frying pans. He too says they are the best pans he has ever cooked with and having small children, he loves that the material used is ceramic based, instead of the usual coatings found in non-stick frying pans.
