Purchased a High Sierra Wheeled Duffel bag and it has served me well, with one issue. The wheels have laminated and shed their rubber tread. Otherwise the bag is in perfect condition, but it is now extremely noisy to wheel , on the unprotected metal of the wheels. Took it to a High Sierra recommended repairer ( in Brisbane). He advised that new wheels would cost $70 each to replace ( $140 for both wheels) , and advised me to buy a new bag , rather than put $140 into my old one. New bag is circa $220. He had no real interest in the repair. Pretty disappointing that High Sierra don’t repair their products for a reasonable price, as the bag is pristine other than the wheels . I will buy a new bad, but it won’t be a High Sierra brand, based on this
Wheel damaged = new duffel! – The AT7 is the best suitacse I've ever owned. One a recent trip, one of the wheels was damaged and I wrote to High Sierra/Samsonite for a replacement. Regrettably that suitacse is no longer made so they couldn't provide new wheels. Instead they're sending me a whole new wheeled duffel! Great service and so reliable. I won't ever buy from anywhere else in the future.

Surprisingly very durable – Bought this duffle with wheels as I was travel in Asia. I preferred a duffle instead of a hard case as I thought it would be easier while travelling between cities. Since then I have used it to travel Overseas, interstate & weekends away. Surprisingly extremely durable wheels especially with baggage handlers at airports where I have previously had hard bags damaged. The compartment to separate items & keep things in place are great.
