Freezer freezes over have to turn off and defrost every fortnight. It doesn’t keep drinks cold. The semi defrost is a waste of time, it still freezes over. This one was a replacement as the black one the freezer door broke off and it didn’t get cold. Show details

Nothing ever changes in the Store… always a great experience – Our Wine Fridge Carked it after 12 years and hardly used it so went in to our only store we ever go to … which is O’Connor Retro and saw Gino as usual. We were looking at a Bar Fridge this time round to put in our outdoor kitchen. Picked the Black Hisense and Gino found a display one for us and got us a bargain price… such a Legend !!! Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Show details

So far it’s great! – Lightweight and easy to move. Very quiet. Store descriptions never mention the freezer part and other reviews were mostly negative BUT i am pleasantly surprised to say so far it has been freezing my kids Zooper Doopers (ice blocks) perfectly on normal fridge setting 3 while the rest of the fridge remains unfrozen. Its only been a week and I… Read more ·  1

haven’t tried ice creams yet though.

We are using it as our main fridge atm and it’s performing well considering it’s small capacity which we are totally filling. It’s a pity there is no light inside though.

Freezer hopless – Might be OK as a bar fridge, but if you are using it as a small apartment fridge it is useless compared to other bar fridges. For the freezer to get cold enough to properly freeze (like solid ice cream not syrup) the controller must be set on full. Then items outside the freezer partially freeze and the fridge uses heaps of electricity. I have… Read more

used another bar fridge and the freezer worked fine. So it is not a problem of all bar fridges, just this one.

What fridge doesnt come with an internal light? – Really annoyed that it doesnt have an internal light, didnt even know fridges existed without internal lights! Especially annoying that I read all the detail about them online and no where do they mention that it doesnt have internal light. Show details

Rubbish, don't waste your money – I bought this small fridge 20 months ago, mainly for milk and veggies for juicing. It is rubbish. It has 2 shelves, plus a little frizzer compartment at the top. You can never set it so that the top shelf works. If you set it low for the shelf to work, the frizzer thaws. If the frizzer works, everything on top shelf freezes. So, I can only use… Read more

the bottom shelf. I contacted Hisense a while ago and they were totally unhelpful. I will throw out the fridge and buy another brand. Please don't throw you money on Hisense fridge. They are rubbish.

Good fridge – Happy with this fridge. We only keep beer in this and haven’t had any problems with it in over 2 years now. Hasn’t frozen any beer in the time we have had the fridge. 3 year warranty. Show details ·  1

Perfect little fridge – Bought this as a back up fridge for our new built home. For the price and features, it ticks all the boxes. I'm very happy especially with the compact design but surprisingly have more space in the inside than I was expecting. And the 2.5 start energy rating is a lot more better than other low priced brands out there. I would recommend this product. Show details

great colour for more professional look – I have used a few bar fridges so far. This one is not my favourite but it works fine. Similar to typical bar fridges, the freezer is not an isolated room with a proper door . It is only a flap and the ice accumulated on the frizeer can be hard to clean (need to unplug, defroze, etc). I have one westinghoue bar fridge that has a proper freezer… Read more

door and I love it becuase it doesn't accumulate ice at the bottom of the freezer over time. Other than that the fridge works fine, not overheating, great look eith black exterior (doesn't turn yellowish over time).

Using the 240v Hisense Fridge on 12V inverter for off grid solar test – Could you use this fridge on off grid solar there's so many different answers I find with Google but I dont l know how many have actually tried it or are just guessing So yesterday afternoon I cooled A 120L Hisense 225 KWPY single door bar fridge down to dial setting of 3.5 just over half scale using 240V mains power as you would with solar on a… Read more

sunny day Then at 7.00 PM changed over to 2 fully charged 100AH Supercharge Allrounder MRV70 Batteries 1 bought 06/2011. the other 12/2015 so old batteries but still test fine 13.07V An old Matson 12v to 240v 1000w modified sinewave inverter this test had no external charging only the 2 batteries supplied power the reason for 2 was at startup it draws around 5A surge at 240V so 1000/1200w to many 12V Amps drain for a single battery if you want it to last ( my Thoughts) all mounted in an old style Van with only cross ventilation no cooling at all and the fridge was empty only air in there the night was cool for an Aussie summer low to mid teens Celsius (C) and it ran normally overnight next morning 7.30AM bright sunny day Batt 12.59 fridge off at rest between cycles 9.30AM 28C Bat 12.56V (all temps are measured on top of fridge inside van) 10.30AM 29C Batt 12.56V 12.00PM 33C Batt 12.48V 2.00PM 36C Batt 12.48V 3.00PM 37C Batt 12.45V 4.00PM 37C batt 12.42V 5.00PM 37C Batt 12.39V 6.00PM 35C Batt 12.39V 7.00PM 33C Batt 12.36V Test concluded. so batteries around 25% dischared or around 50AHs over the 24Hrs with no power input at all and a 120L fridge is a handy size but you can get some ideas from the KW per year rating on this test and from what I've read if the fridge was full it would be a lot more efficient as well. So yes 12v fridges are use a lot less power BUT theres also a big price difference and these days Panels and Inverters are as cheap as chips so a handy real world test on a good little fridge I hope it gives you folks a bit of an idea cheers

Bar fridge that doesn't take beer bottles! – I have only just received this fridge so cannot comment on its function. I can say however that I am disappointed in its design - there is no arrangement of the shelves that will permit standing (330/345ml) beer bottles to be stored. They must be laid on their sides which is not ideal and is very wasteful of space. Standard cans are fine. Nor will… Read more

they stand in the crisper or in the upper two shelves in the door, which are fixed. Time will tell if it is good at keeping things cold but if you are after somewhere to store bottles of beer look elsewhere.

(This fridge replaced a Fisher & Paykel one of the same dimensions which was much better suited to being used as a bar fridge. Sadly this model is no longer being made.)

Hisense makes sense! – I bought this based on price and also because Hisense are a step up from the run of the mill TCLs and house branded products - sure its made in China but what isn't? Anyway it runs perfectly and keeps my beer cold - thats all I ask of it and it meets my needs perfectly!  Show details

Excellent Bar Fridge – Such a simple little fridge but oh so handy, This serves as our summer drinks fridge but also gets used for large cooking days for extra room. Its a clean design, surprisingly light to pick up and behaves itself beautifully. No noise, no drips no mess. Its just what I wanted in a bar fridge and I would pass the recommendation on to all. No problems with this model.  Show details

about an easy money job = he turned up , and was here for less than 10 min . He spent most of this time complaining about not making money

.He removed the circut board , and got freightened by one cocroach . Yes just one /according to him it is hisense policy to run from any warranty claims if you see on cocroach. He didnt even remove the rear cover to look inside the fridge , but was convinced this one cocroach had destroyed a $1000 fridge . Am now fighting to get documents provided to make an insurance claim .

If you live in any country with a single cocroach , dont buy hisense products

Not vermin proof – Manufacturing quality is so poor mice can get inside easily because they just stuffed a bit if foam around the temperature censor wire but drilled a 25 mm hole.Mouse simply climbs in my fridge and eats the food! I called Hisense and they told me because it was a barfridge they would not be sending anyone out to inspect it.  Show details

Convenient for parties – We always ran out of space in the main fridge during parties and christmas, so my husband decided to buy a little bar fridge for these events. It is very quiet i can barely notice it… Read more

running. It has a very basic coolness control, so not sure what temperature it is running at but it seems cooler than my main fridge at 3deg C. the freezer section is a little icy but not a drama. Overall, money well spent.

Does its job well – We purchased this as a fridge to keep our kombucha in so it didn't take up space in our regular fridge. It does its job well. It does need manual defrosting, but other than that, no complaints. It keeps its temperature well. is a function of the height of the unit which was limited according to the area it is situated in. We are very happy with it.

Super Ice Box that cools my drinks – I bought this Super fridge during summer to store my drinks, vegetable and to make ice lollies. The size is just perfect for my tiny apartment. I did not have to spend a lot as it only cost about $250. It is considered spacious for a fridge bar. I even managed to store my leftover food for the next day and it can be cleaned easily. Overall, it is a satisfactory fridge bar for those who do not have a lot of space at home like myself.  Show details

Great little fridge! – Fridge is perfect for use as a bar or drinks fridge. It has great storage in the fridge door as well as a small freezer compartment and crisper. The fridge is quiet and runs efficiently. The colour options for this series are also a great feature, we purchases the matte black and it looks fantastic in person.  Show details

This product is terrible – I purchased this product about one year ago, I had to say that this bar fridge have some design defect. The most significant defect is that if you want to keep the temperature cold in the cooler to keep ice cream frozen it will freeze all your vegetables with ice. However, the ice cream will still melt. Any way it is terrible experience on the fridge.  Show details
