I'm assuming you haven't got a spare set. Without breaking glass, trying to slightly get the door ajar etc I would contact a mobile locksmith or perhaps the RAC in your state. Or if you have some time post or search on https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/forums/ve-holden-commodore-2006-2013.75/ Hope that helps.

I have a 07 ve ss all four power windows have stopped working, have tested it and there is no power getting to the fuse

VE's onwards are out of my knowlege scope. If it was VT-VZ then I could offer some help ... BUT .... To get a quick response I would go to https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/forums/ve-holden-commodore-2006-2013.75/ forum. Do a search or better still ask a question. You will find 9 times out of ten someone has gone through exactly what you have. It will save you money and frustration. I've been on the forum and it's a great resource. Cheerswill do thanks

I thought it was just my Commodore, but yes, my Ford & TL Magna take off like rockets, compared to the Holden, the V6, Pontiac sourced engine, is a real quarter mile slug, but winds up well on the open road,

Agreed. Also take into consideration the Kms of your car & if it's 'tired'. There are some things you can do .... Without going internal cam, heads etc, External mods like exhaust, extractors, diff ratio and performance chip (w/Dyno Tune) will give you some gains in the 10w-15w region but your talking $$ and not worth it on an ECOTEC .... IMHO You could go for a wrecked Commodore with a supercharged Ecotec and swap engine, ecu etc etc once again $$ My view is to make sure the air filter, fuel filter, plugs, leads are good and live with it. Still a very reliable engine and relatively easy to work on and parts are cheap. Check out https://forums.justcommodores.com.au/ do a search or ask some questions about getting some more power. Either way it is 'sluggish' but I still think you have a great engine, of couse the other option is to go for an LS1 ...I'd agree. I've driven a Magna and Camry and they both take off like rockets, almost like electric cars, whereas the Commodore seems to take some time to rev up. Like every car it has its quirks, it's just a matter of adjusting and it rarely causes a problem. I've had 2 VL's, a VS and had my current VY for 13 years so I'm quite used to Commodores' quirks! The only time it's a pain is when you go to tromp it to get quickly through a gap in traffic - but in a real pinch you can hold your foot on the brake and put in a bit of throttle to load up the transmission and just release the brake when you need to move.

my car says is cant recognize the remote wont start wots up

Hi Paul I have same issue. Did you fix yours? Thanks2 days ago. Just followed advice I found on internet . Pushed a cable tie in and our then blew it out with compressed air . Worked a treat . The thing that was confusing me was I still had water draining onto the ground so I thought it was not blocked . Since the fix the amount of water on the ground is tenfold. I’ll be using that as a guide from now on.
