Hi, the problem is as follows: The temperature guage stops working, the cooling fan comes on and does not stop, and the cooling of the air conditioner does not work. Then the engine light comes on. I've suspected a faulty sensor, and have that reset. All works for a day or up to a week, then all return. I've had the thermostat sensor replaced but this has not helped.
Should the hose from bottom of radiator up to I think its pump for coolant get really hot ?
The answer is yes Irishs, the coolant temp runs at about 95 degrees c. Check your coolant level once a week, always check for leaks and keep an eye on the temp gauge. The most common cause of engine damage is OVERHEATING once this happens a cracked head can follow then things get expensive very quickly.

Hi, need some help, I have a Holden 11/2011 JH Cruze SRI-V 1.4i Ti Turbo Induction Sedan it has 126,000 K's on the clock drives really well and very clean for it's year. Having issue with push button start ignition, some times it just won't work, all the lights come on but will not go to start stage, engine management light comes on, I wait for a short while for system to reset but it does it over and over then all of a sudden it will work. Thought it might be battery, put a new one in and changed battery in remote thinking maybe it was not picking up the remote signal, but still giving me issues. I have checked on line and have not seen anyone with this problem. Do you or anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be?
i have a 2013 SRi auto Should have researched greater before buying but thats the way it goes. I have a few problems that need answers 1 Occasionally Dashboard lights flicker and , being electrical, the power steering is affected and turning etc is a no go (warning that power steering needs attending to,comes up) Can go for days with no issues.possibly battery or alternator but both are not that old if i remember correctly. 2 Dash board warning that coolant temp is too high ( up around 100) but temp indicator is at its normal halfway position. looking at coolant container coolant appears to be possibly boiling.

Yes! My 2014 Jh Holden Cruze has started to not turn off, it keeps saying Shift into Park, but it is in park. It's an auto & push button start. If you find out what the problem is can you please let me know? Goodluck.
