5 mins and then it stops working – This is a really pathetic device. No matter how often I get it serviced (and that is another issue) it never works more than 5 mins. Never able to finish a job. It simply doesn’t stay in tune… perhaps I bought a ‘Monday’ hedge trimmer, but mine never works. Poor return on my $600 investment. Show details

Great trimmer – Really surprised by the poor reviews. Bought this trimmer twelve months ago and it has been even better than I hoped. i have a lot of hedges (photinia, escallonia and box) and it hasn't missed a beat. Starts every time and runs smoothly. The rotating handle makes it easier to keep going on big jobs and to get into tricky areas. Show details

First Husqvarna to Disappoint Me – Bought my Husqvarna 122HD60 about six months ago. Have not used it that much, but every time I do I have problems. Getting it started is not a problem, but keeping it running is. After starting it and letting it run for about 5 minutes, I try to carefully give gas to get the blades moving. Sometimes they move a bit other times it appears that they… Read more

are stuck. After several attempts and some luck, I get the blades moving, but the moment I let off the gas it stalls. I have never had a piece of equipment that is so difficult to use. Bought Husqvarna because I have one of their chainsaws that has run well for years. Very disappointed.

Terrible trimmer – I bought my trimmer 1 yr ago and I’ve been having problems since day one it keeps on stalling out when I release the gas trigger. Brought it back to dealer and blames it on gas so he told me to go with VP Pro-max 50-1 still same problem after $80 to fix stay far away from this trimmer. I have many lawn equipment and very thing runs great please again stay away from Husqvarna 122 HD60  Show details

Very disappointed!! – I also purchase the same hedger and after looking around on the net for best one on the market at that time it was the one! I have the same problem as the previous reviewers, Blades sticking on the littlest of sap from shrubs and vibrations from the machine. After 45mins work I have to stop. with my experience i would never buy another! – This is the second hedge trimmer ive had, which was exchanged after the first was a dud, it would run for 15 mins then stop.I bought the 1st one about 9 months ago. The second was exchanged about 6 months ago .it has the same problems as the 1st .As the dealer no longer sells husqvarna i took it to another dealer.they keep blaming the fuel. The… Read more

interesting thing as i run all my small tools on the same fuel with no issues.Do yourself a favour keep away from this product. Fed up with constant issues with these trimmers, ive bought a cheap import that works perfectly, unfortunately i cant give this zero stars!!

Dont ask what I think of it – I have had this hedge trimmer for a year and have been rather disappointed with what seems to be a well made and well engineered product . I have had the blades resharpened and polished , when using the hedger on Cypress the blades not only corrode but they stick together . I also have a pole hedger from Shindaiwa and this is used mainly for the… Read more

higher parts of the cypress trees , I have had no such issues . The blades have been sprayed with WD 40 , silicon ,vegetable oil . Again I regret buying a Husqvarna product as I had a very dodgy chainsaw , bought brand new and not up to scratch . My 10 year old Stihl Farm boss has been used a lot no issues at all .

Husqvarna - may own half of the other brands Mc Culloch etc but I have not a very good run from this brand .
