I paid $765 for one & it never got one single job done without a trip to the repair shop! – I prune hedges & trim trees for a living; I own a Stihl HS45, a Stihl Combi Tool, a Echo 1500 & a a Metabo Electric. I wish I had never seen the Husky 326HD60 much less bought one! I had it less than 3 months & traded it for $200 on the Echo. The gearbox continually seized up during use! The exhaust points straight down onto the bush being pruned, burning the foliage, its extremely heavy and the gearbox keeps jamming up. I could have sent it interstate to Husqvarna for warranty repairs after the mower shop got sick of fixing it, but I would have had to pay for the transport to get it there :( I literally told the mower shop to throw it in the bin! They graciously gave me $200 for it towards a new Echo.

Good – The starter has gone a few times. However nothing is perfect and if the dealer was good he would of replaced it the first time rather than messing me around try to fix it and failing numerous times. This machine has ample power and will cut big things but will still for example shape a nice tight buxis hedge. This hedger has worked day in day out for quiet some time now and the only time it has stopped was when the starter jammed up and would turn. Overall I think this is good machine. This Hedge Trimmer has more than enough power. It can cut way more than it needs to. The vibration dampening system is quiet effective. The blade cover might be good for home use but not too good for comercial use. It is descibed as light. Mine must have some hidden weights. It can still be operated all day, day in day out but you can tell the difference if you use another machine.

The biggest bad point for this machine is where the exhaust discharges. It comes straight out onto the hedge. Obviously this is only for hedges as long as the machine. So this can be fixed by using a longer bar machine an extendable hedger or Husky in all their wisdom could discharge the exhaust the same as stihl, onto the bar.
