Infiniti Q21 Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhat's the price for Q21 model?
If you have knee problem.can you still use this machine?
Hey. Great question. From memory it was about $500 but I'd have to find my receipt. I also bought it off an auction site so normal retail price could be a little more. I actually had knee arthroscopy surgery 2 months ago to repair a meniscus tear which happened during martial arts training. Apparently the knee isn''t really designed to be a weapon. Go figure. The fact I had already been using the Q21 and a spin cycle meant I could return to exercising within 3 weeks of surgery. Both the cycle and the Q21 are no, or minimal, impact workouts. Exactly what my surgeon suggested. And, also because I was used to those machines, my recovery was really quick. I was back to full noise on the bike within 4 weeks and have been back on the Q21 for about 2 weeks. I just had to wait for the repaired joint to stabilise as there is an amount of forward and back pressure on the knee on the eliptical which, under normal circumstances you wouldn't notice. But after surgery the joint is a little susceptible to that movement for a couple of months. Without knowing the details of your knee problem, eliptical training and cylcing are most likely what a surgeon would suggest for rehab anyway. Hope that helps but if you have any other questions, fire away.
