Jamie Oliver Flameproof Rice Cooker

Brilliant, dishwasher proof, easy to use perfect rice – I bought the Jamie Oliver Perfect Rice Cooker to replace an old electric 6 cup non-stick rice cooker which was peeling and was a pain to clean properly. The Jamie Oliver rice cooker is ceramic and can be used in the microwave, in the oven or on the hob, the description says it makes enough rice for 4 serves, but when I used it - it really makes 4 very large rice servings which really is 6 normal serves. I used it on my gas hob with white basmati rice, and followed the instructions which were simple to follow, particularly as the inner ceramic has markings has to how much rice to add and how much boiling water to add. There was no mess, or bubbling over and the rice cooked perfectly. And I mean PERFECTLY. Because the cooker is ceramic, it looks lovely straight from hob to table, and the left over rice was still piping hot at the end of the meal. Best of all, all parts are dishwasher proof - and the storage space in the cupboard required is about half that of my other rice cooker! I am really pleased with this purchase.
