Better than expected – Better than expected. Got this as a gift and don't think from Jaycar but was told it cost less than $100. Works very well. Decent capture range/width. Easy to use. Handles the weather and dried out ok (few days) after I didn't close it properly and condensation got in. Haven't used video but takes good pics day and night and I'm not even using highest settings. Not perfect but for around $100 highly recommend.

Better safe than sorry! – Of late there have been a few break-ins locally, a good time to get some security cameras.I picked up 2 of these from Jaycar, cost $119 for the first one,( I had a $10 coupon, the second was only $49, a Black Friday special only) to be honest they are still good value at the full price, due to the fact they are small and unobtrusive, can take 16M still images, and up 1080p videos. They run off 8AA batteries( not included), good thing is that they should last around 3 months, looks about right according to my usage, handy features are audio recording, an internal 2.4" LCD screen, to review footage and make adjustments. I decided to attach one of the cameras with the included strap, saved drilling holes in my deck uprights (plus easier to relocate to a tree, or another location, the other one is resting on bricks, for the same reason as the camera is front opening) wall plugs and mounting hardware are included also. The infra-red LEDs are non glowing and have a range of 20M You will need to supply your own SD card (up to 32GB)

All in all they are great value ( especially the Black Friday one!)
