I am really very disappointed that I have purchased this Camcorder. The picture and video quality is not as good as indicated. For the price that I have paid for, I'd rather get a good quality digital camera that offers HD video recording. The only thing I like about this Camcorder is its 60GB hard disk drive and long lasting battery.
Big storage with a 60GB Hard Disk Drive. Battery lasts longer than other HD Camcorders that I have used.
Didn't deliver good quality image as suggested and the High Definition video is a little bit shaky and blurry at times.
I had originally bought this camera (quite expensive) and not surprised no reviews on it for that reason, as there were so many other digi vid cams more competitively prices. The quality of the video of this camera is absolutely superb, quality plus, the ease of use is amazing. It truly stumped me when I was taking sporting videos, as the camera shake is unbearable, zooming in especially, unless you want to carry a tripod everywhere all the time! It would be suitable for close up videos, with less action, so for family videoing, perfect, for sp...orting videoing....forget it...unless you have it on a tripod, which gives less flexibility for random vidoeing in any case. I had to exchange it for the canon g10 as I was rather disappointed with the Everio for zoom in camera shake. What a pity, otherwise I would have truly loved to have kept it. Ease of use. Shocking camera shake.
