JVC GR-50aa scam by JVC – Costly camera. Repaired during warranty then failed again. It seems we were all JVC test subjects who paid for the privilege of being scammed by JVC. When a manufacturers experiment fails it is they who should bear the cost not the consumer. JVC used to be a reputable brand.

Terrible – Worst investment of my life.less than 20 hours recording for $1000.00.according to dealer it was assessed at 80 hours recording time, but i only have 4 tapes and none are full. Will not touch JVC again.will look at Sony,Panasonic or canon. O.k. when it was working. Big problems after about 8 hours recording.this model is a known lemon.failed again less than one hour recording after heads replaced (blue screen of death)
