Speaking as a startup ROI Agency Owner - To apply the HVCO concept, how can I make my headline visible to a large audience of business owners who may want to use my services?
Hi Mason! Here's a couple of suggestions for you: 1. Make sure you create a HVCO that answers the biggest burning question of the target market. Eg. 5 Easy Steps To 10X Your Leads In X Days 2. Create a mid-form landing page with a form that collects name, email and phone. Insert social proof, trust icons and anything you can do to eliminate doubt that you're an expert in your field. 3. Call each and every lead that comes through and close them on a strategy session.
Hope that helps!
King Kong
What do you mean by "application"?
$5 per lead $50 per application $300 to acquire a client
Please explain $50 per application.
Hi Charles!
Can you email your question to hello@kingkong.co and give us a bit more context, so we assist?
King Kong
Don't worry, I watched a video and worked out what you mean't. It's the total acquisition cost of getting a lead to the online Strategy Session, that is the CPL plus the cost of the calendar, and what have you
However, I do have another question for you which you should be able to answer. Your book "Sell Like Crazy". It's a Godfather Offer, correct?
Hi Charles The Sell Like Crazy book itself isn't the godfather offer - SLC is the HVCO. The godfather offer is that it's free (+shipping and handling), and there's a money back guarantee if you don't enjoy the book. An offer you can't refuse ;-)
King Kong
Okay, I thought the initial lead magnet on a squeeze page (a free PDF or free video) was the HVCO.
Mate. I would steer clear of this mob. Read my review and click on the link to the Whirlpool forums. They are scam artists.
Question... I see and adore the wind spinner you have advertised online. I would like to know if you advertised this spinner for 50% off if this 50% discount would come up once i fill out the purchase information? As I see it, if something's $75.00, wouldn't 50% off come to $37.50? I am wanting one as they have to be a conversation piece, but I am on Social Security Disability and even $37.50 to me is allot... Not saying it's not worth it though. Can you please let me know? Thank you so much for reading this message. Norene A.
Do you guys have any guarantee for your ROI driven services like Facebook Ads? I've seen the one for SEO and made me think...
Hi Social A! To discuss our services (including guarantees) and what may best suit your needs, it's best to book in with the strategy team via our website :-)
Don’t trust these guys! They make lovely promises and then rip you off as soon as you’ve signed.
Absolutely. They structure the offer, so most of it is in management and set up fees. The actual component for the ad words etc is a minor part. They don't refund set up and management fees. Read my review and click on Whirlpool forum link. You can't trust them.
what kind of products is this strategy good for? Does it work with consumer products?
Hi Missy! Our marketing methods work for both lead generation and ecommerce :-)
They tell you they can help, but I promise they can’t! Read the negative reviews about them and their smart comments in response before signing
is King Kong a good company? I guess not
Hi Jason
We have helped thousands of people successfully grow their businesses, and inevitably, some of them didn't get the outcome they were hoping for. We are great at what we do, and we stand by our results.
All the best.
The company is definitely not a good company to work with. Read the reviews! My guess is this is only just a small portion of their unhappy customers! Use anyone but them!
Honestly, how do these digital agencies survive after reading these horror stories. Feel so sorry for those who have been mislead. Promising amazing results with locked in contracts at way over the top prices is something that accc need to investigate immediately. I can see how new technology brings out the vultures who prey on businesses that do not really understand how digital marketing works. Most of these digital agencies know this and what they do not tell you is this. It is all about what type of industry your business is in, whether your selling a product or service. It is all about how many competitors that your up against in google adwords and seo. The more competitive it is then the harder it will be to rank high. Sadly it is the deeper pockets that will win every time. Every digital agency company will take your money, knowing that you have no chance of beating Mr deep pockets. When it comes to google adwords and your rio is a disaster, then this is due to a poorly designed campaign setup. Poorly used keywords and poorly written ads. Remember google is like a casino (making money) and the house always wins, unless you know how to play the game.
They keep ripping off the next customer. These guys really are the worst of the worst
Can somebody expand on KK's pricing model?
I've come across other agencies that propose a maintenance fee, but I gather that KK asks for a maintenance fee + a % of the base revenue increase. If so, what's the maintenance fee & what's their take rate %?
Hi Diego! Pricing varies based on a number of factors - there isn't a set model because industries can be so varied. You can book in for a free strategy session for more info here: external link
get you in a contract then rips you off, be warned
Don’t trust them! There’s costs you’re not even aware of and once you sign, the service stops and then they threaten debt collectors Beware
Do you know how they price ?
Hello Liam, I quiet like King Songs pricing. The ROI is well worth it. My business is growing daily thanks to King Kong
No one knows the pricing except them. They’re sharks. Beware!
Hi there, did you end up finding anyone who was actually good and delivered no their promise.
No I never did. No responses to my calls or emails.
Thanks, I am not talking about kingkong in paticular, is there any other company who are actually any good ?
I would be interested to know who is good also
They are all scum these digital agencies. Full of false hopes. The only way they continue to grow is buy taking money from suckers like you. Of course marketing works if you put enough money into it. That's why they check how much you have first. If your products are good you shouldn't have to spend like that. Australia has had enough of companies like this with their false hopes. You only have to look at a few of their videos to realise that they are growing fatter while we do all the work to make them rich. Don't give them one cent. They are rude. Obnoxious and plan to be the biggest digital marketing scum in Australia. They will do this buy taking money from business with shapy tactics, false hopes and basically ripping you off while remaining just within the legal boundaries. Don't let yours be next. Wake up and smell the roses. If someone tells you they can make you rich and seems to have a lot of money from doing so then that should be your wake up call right there. You're better off focusing on other more important ways to improve your business and what to offer your customers. Then the rest will happen. Don't try to force it or pay someone like King Kong who really couldn't care less about you, they only want your ad budget so they can grow fatter. Useless scum with no real skill or product to sell. Leaches. sucking your life blood. These are the type of businesses thriving online for years now and I'm so sick of it. It's time we woke up and exposed them all. Sabri, both of you, - nothing personal mate, good luck with it all. I for one won't be paying you one cent. Enjoy your new flash life while it lasts. May Google be by your side.
Thanks Andrew. So did you find anyone who is actually any good in the end or just did it yourself.
We can help Englander Davis. We tell you how it is and give actual projections of results rather than fairytale, we were screwed over by many digital marketers which is why we went into the industry ourselves, we believe in helping businesses and growing with them. Feel free to contact us for a coffee and chat info@englanderdavis.com

external link is actually good. Way better than king kong and no where near as pricey
I can recommend a different approach: instead of contracting a marketing agency, create a landing page, feature it everywhere you can (facebook, instagram, visit cards etc.), create cool advertising banners for Facebook using Fiverr, publish them and direct traffic to your landing page. In our case it took us 5k for the landing + 200 AUD for Facebook Ads to get first clients for our business. Here are the guys who built us a landing page: external link (LandingPG)
@irene we did the same with our marketer , however cheaper and he was great goodpizza.com.au
There’s a million other companies that can do what these guys promise. Anyone is better than these guys. Don’t use them
