Excellent Sofa – The sofa itself is excellent. Purchasing and organising delivery was a breeze. Unfortunately sofa showed up without connectors and some damage to the fabric. Still waiting for a resolution.

feature I love about this sofa is that my feet can touch the ground and it makes sitting and getting up really easy. Also worth a mention is the service provided in the showroom and delivery/assembly was like nothing I have ever received elsewhere. They are very knowledgeable, not pushy and genuinely cared to help me choose the perfect pieces of furniture and fabrics

Extremely happy! – Wonderful addition to our home. This beautiful and cosy sofa is so inviting and comfortable for our entire family. We are spending more time together as a family watching movies now that we have such a comfortable and spacious sofa that we can all fit on. My husband and kids are tall and the high back and head support of the 1978 is supportive and comfortable, feels like a hug! It looks like a sculpture in our lounge room too.

The whole family loves it – We bought this last year and it is so comfortable. Love the boucle fabric. It looks great in our living room. The dog loves it too! Thank goodness we can take the cover off to clean.

Love the plush cloudlike cushions this sofa has – Purchased last year to replace a very old uncomfortable sofa. Never once regretted the decision. Doze off almost every time I relax on it.

Dream Couch – Have now had this couch for a year now and I love it. It's so comfy I fall asleep on it more than I care to admit. It's also great for entertaining and I get many compliments about it.

Love the shape – I’ve had this sofa for a year now, I love its shape and the quality of material. The high back is great for support and comfort. We bought the matching ottoman which is a great size and super comfortable.

Comfiest sofa we've ever owned! – We received our 1978 modular sofa last November. Overall it has been great but has a couple of minor drawbacks. We purchased the green coiled fabric and 2+1 curved corner set for our living room. What we love: - The high back is a game-changer if you’re tall. - It’s soft without being too soft. - It’s massive - plenty of room for everyone. -… Read more

The lumbar support is a nice touch. - Each piece is light enough to lift up solo when vacuuming (except for the corner section) What we don’t love: - The curved seats create a high bump where the sections meet, so the surface isn’t flat when you connect them. - Those plastic connectors underneath are annoying to use. We needed several people to join the pieces together, especially the corner. - After just six months, the green fabric is already stretching and wrinkling a little where we sit and it pulls. - If you’re over 80kg and sit on the edge, you’ll feel the steel frame hit your butt, which isn't an issue if you sit properly on the couch, but feels cheap and makes me worry about the quality of the foam. Other thoughts: - I know most sofas are just a frame with fabric wrapped around it, but I was still a little surprised to when opening the cover showed nothing but some foam wrapped around a steel frame and some springs. I hope this structural design lives up to the price we paid.

Ticked all the boxes – We’re very happy with our lounge suite! It’s both comfortable and stylish, which is what you would expect in any piece of King furniture. This is the second lounge suite that we have purchased from King. Both fit perfectly their individual spaces in our home.
