Love our new lounge and painting around on it. Our upstairs living area is a challenge space to get furniture up the stairs and we selected this lounge due to being able to get it upstairs without any dramas. Fabric pilling and the long delay in receiving the sofa is the reason for 4 stars. Fabric very prone to pilling and we are constantly attempting to remove these tags. There are only two adults using the couch. Otherwise, the couch is very comfortable, roomy and was easy to assemble. Show 2 replies

I've bought a couple of large throws to help keep it in pristine condition as there is a furry animal on it every day/night and with the addition of some scatter cushions it couldn't be more comfortable. I am so pleased that I did loads of searching on the web until I found this sofa. Delivery was fine - I drove to Perth and collected from the carrier and as it was all just large boxes it was easy to stack in my van - no large sofa to manoeuvre. Couldn't be happier!

that it’s modular. I also love the modern, minimalist design and the green Eucalyptus colour’s gorgeous (photos don’t do it justice), and the fact the cover is removable. It’s so comfy, I’ve already fallen asleep on it a few times, which is probably the highest compliment a sofa can get!

Wattle online reviews were frankly raving about this brand, so I continued my research. Being a modular concept, I was considering combination options and reached out quite a few times by email with a few questions. Every response was prompt, informative and friendly, setting out options and even advising how I could achieve my ideal arrangement at a lower cost.
I plunged in with my purchase; a 3 seater that would make up a to a 2 seater and single chair, in the green ‘Eucalyptus’ colour option. Plus Black Friday special of free fabric protection cover and the complimentary sofa table is so innovative and genius!
Each step of the process was communicated and after an excited, but still a little nervous wait, my Wattle sofa arrived in convenient, manageable boxes, each clearly labelled and ready for assembling.
Unboxing the first piece, I was immediately blissed out by the fabric quality and beautiful colour… it was obvious from first touch at this was an excellent product.
I’m 62 years young, and with some effort, was able to manoeuvre and assemble my sofa ~ with a little help from my mallet for the legs. At one point I was unsure of positioning, so went to the Wattle help chat. Within 10 minutes, I had the details clarified and was able to complete the task.
I’m so impressed not just with how handsome and wonderfully comfortable my Wattle is (as verified by 100% of my visitors so far!), but the outstanding quality of Wattle’s genuine, consistent customer care.
This brand considers all the aspects and issues, to provide real solutions to other previously limiting choices - they deliver versatility, comfort, elevated quality, as well as practicality of washable covers (meaning replaceable and alternative colours too) and catered above and beyond to my entirely positive experience.
Now just need to get all the lovely boxes to recycling..!

it - plus I had seen positive comments on returning the sofa, which assisted. Then following my order, customer service was great. Not only did they get in touch immeadiately re order confirmation/instructions, etc., they also delayed the delivery as I was going away soon after and wanted to be able to use the sofa for the 30 days of being able to return it. They also answered my questions promptly after delivery, including at one time after hours when a response was not expected. And now for the sofa... not only does it look amazing (and everyone who see the Eucalyptus colour loves it!), it is very supportive and comfortable and great that it can be reconfigured (- I got the queen bed brackets and also use them to create extra chaises, perfect for movie nights!). I previoulsy had a soft sofa that was no good for my back, so was after greater support but not something hard and uninviting - my Wattle sofa certainly delivers on comfort! Being a more structured couch, there is now no need to prop myself up with cushions, though the good seat depth and back height and supportive, but soft, cushioning, ensures that its still comfy and inviting. The side tables and shelf are an added bonus to both the look and functionality. I'm yet to remove the covers, but am hoping that will be pretty much like the assembly - was easy enough and easier still once I knew what I was doing (would have been easier with another pair of hands but I was too keen to get it set up!). If you're thinking about this sofa (and like me getting pulled-in by how good it looks when you continually see it coming up on your social media), I suggest getting some free colour samples delivered, choosing one and giving it a go - what have you got to lose if you can trial it for 30 days!

service, quality, looks and comfort of the Wattle couch. It's just a great product which provides you with great versatility and flexibility. It takes a second to get the hang of it, and, if you push me to a corner, I found the felt stickers for the couch legs a bit useless, but other than this incredibly minor detail (as far as I'm concerned), we LOVE our couch and are super happy with this decision. the loop regarding delivery and it arrived on schedule, we even got a post purchase email to see how we were finding the sofa, unheard of from any other company we’ve purchased through in the past. Each piece was packed perfectly and it was a dream for my husband and I to assemble, this also gave us real insight into how well it was made and thought out. We put it together and the first thing we found was the back rest leant back too much for us. And the seat cushion was just too firm.
We tried it for a few days and we couldn't ever find a comfortable position.
We contacted Wattle and their customer service was outstanding. Immediately they offered us an option for brackets which put the back rest in a more upright position, which we accepted.
They arrived promptly and we switched them over. And unfortunately, we still didn't enjoy it.
It was far too firm and not a sofa you could laze around on.
We decided to return it under the 30 day trial and again, customer service was second to none. They did advise the sofa would soften over time, however it's just not for us. Wattle were happy to receive the return and didn't question any further.
Whilst we're really disappointed the sofa wasn't of the comfort level we wanted, I would say their customer service is outstanding. And if you like a firmer, more reclined sofa, then you'll absolutely love this.
However if you're looking for a cozy, softer sofa, I'd suggest you keep looking.

thought I would readjust the sofa quite offen but given the effort involved i think it unlikely (which defeats the point and the paying the high price). The bigger sofa feels sometimes a little unstable in the middle too.
The fabric is okay but fairly typical polyester and a little itchy tbh.
I like the deep seats and the sofa tables.
Overall nice but not sure i would purchase again at this price point given the above flaws.
Difficult assembly. Cannot replace single cover – Previous reviewer was lucky to only need a mallet. I needed sledge hammer to get legs inserted. It's incredibly spacious, so the whole family can sit comfortably together, and the cushions are soft while still providing great support. The sofa feels sturdy, looks stylish, and fits perfectly with our living room. We've already spent many relaxing evenings on it, and it has quickly become everyone's favourite spot in the house.
