Great for overnight travel.
The container is easy to use, no mess. Great for overnight travel. The oil is nice on the face and leaves your face nice and smooth. The razor is easy to clean after shaves. I like the idea of up to 75 shaves from a small bottle.
Purchased in September 2019 at Woolworths for $4.50.
Perfect for business and pleasure travel
After years of trimming down my baggage for regular overseas business trips, I came across King of Shaves Alpha OIl. Cans of soap-based gels and foam or cakes of shaving soap and shave brushes used up lots of room and didn't perform so well. Skin chafing, razor burn, and drying out, none of which were very pleasant when in a foreign environment are a thing of the past !
Small, compact, so easy to use, works better than gels, soap or foam by miles. Nice close shave and great for skin. Don't need fancy multi-blade razors as cheap single ordouble disposable units work better.
Although the packaging says a bottle lasts 100 shaves, I have never found this is the case. No matter. I would like abottle that is twice the size
While using those typical shaving creams and god awful shaving gels, my face was always left feeling dry, chaffed and feeling raw, not to mention the frustration of having to deal with never ending bleeding cuts and nicks !! So I tried KING OF SHAVES SHAVING OIL. It is truly a miracle made for shaving ! applying only a few drops of oil on to a moist face, I now have the most enjoyable shaving experience each and every morning. The razor blade glides like velvet over my whiskers and shaves incredibly close. I have never had razor burn since and ...the oil seems to moisturise my whole face at the same time. I have never suffered those foresaken cuts and nicks either. Due to the liquid barrier between the face and blade, friction seems to be severely reduced as well, resulting in my blades lasting 2-3 times longer than when I was using old fashioned creams and gels Super smooth and comfortable shave. No skin irritation and blades last a lot longer !! Price seems steep at first, but it really is highly cost efficient !!!!

Know better, choose better.
Usually I use the mainstream shaving creams whilst shaving. Using these I got shaver burn and skin irritation that drove me mad. I went looking for better products to use and had heard good things about King of Shaves but never tried it before as it is more than double the price of any other shaving product.
Out of frustration I bought the AlphaOil. Using the oil to shave I found to be similar to using any other shaving cream as I still got razor burn. When I added another layer of lubricant on top then I got the superior shave the marketin...g goes on about and no razor burn what so ever (although a few nicks still). The short I found that the combination of the AlphaOil and AlphaGlide Shaving Gel the best shaving experience yet with no razor burn. Although the products seem expensive at $10 each they are worth every cent. Provides a very smooth shave with no razor burn. Needs to be used in combination with another lubricant.
I am the kind of guy who hates shaving and in less than half a day you feel that you didnt shave properly. King of Shaves oil actually did a better job than any other shaving solution I had till date. All you need is 2 drops and rub the oil on the places where you are shaving on your face, use with your gel or form, use any simple Single blade shaver and you feel that is like those barble shaves. real clean, and hardly any cuts or burns. In grown hairs are actually caused by shavers with 3 blade technology! Beware, keep it simple. By far the best shaving solution. TRY IT!
If you been getting too much shaver burns, tried everything but this? TRY IT!
a bit more pricey, but hey it gets you one of the best shave till date.
