Sports cap is leaky and has to be replaced too often – We loved klean kanteen but the more recent version of the sports cap still leaks, and is far from durable. We were replacing the sports caps so often that we gave up and swapped to a different brand altogether. Such a shame

6 years on my bottle is still amazing – Bought 1182ml stainless bottle in 2014 and have used it everyday; I keep it with me during the day and night. The bottle still looks great and works flawlessly: Of note the silicon mouth piece is still perfect. The water from this bottle tastes great and the bottle remains clean with little to no effort. Honestly, I can't recommend this product enough and it's now the only brand I would buy. Show details

leaky "sport" cap – I've been given a similar bottle free as a promotional thing for yellow cabs. Owned for the same amount of time yet my 35$ Klean Kanteen bottle is the one that leaks and really bad too. Don't buy the one with a "sports cap" just get a screw on and off lid is what i can recommend. Show details

Fantastic bottle which makes you want to drink more water – Besides the steep price, I have found nothing to fault this bottle on so far. It is the perfect size and my favorite feature is the fast flow sports cap - you can get water in your mouth fast without the problem of spilling it down the front of you when using an open cap. that is a small trade off considering the fact its making me want to drink more water. In terms of water, I hadn't considered what a pleasant drinking experience would be - but this is it! Great job Klean Kanteen. If the price was not so much I wouldn't of hesitated in buying another.

I first tried this seller because of their 100% rating, with subsequent purchases, they are one of the best in the market.

I paid $30 for the product but when I think about this I feel duped; the company are marketed as clean, wholesome but the realities are they're selling products via drop shipping and retaining a healthy profit that far exceeds the actual value of the product.

Sadly, while they may indicate its a great product etc. etc. I've got no proof that their quality assurance of the product holds up. I have no way of assessing or testing whether its 18/8 steel, whether the product contains any nasty surprises or dangerous chemicals. I also don't know if this has been made by some slave labour factory. simply because Klean Kanteen seem to be far removed from the production line.

Yes, if you ignore and go on face value it seems to be a good product, but the way in which all this came about has made me loose trust in it and I'm in the market for a replacement that will hopefully provide greater assurance. And yes, I'll happily pay the premium on that product to know what I'm actually getting.

I am lying in bed, unlike bottles with a straw arrangement, which are far too hard to manage when half asleep (and hard to clean well). The spout gives a good flow of water with no effort and it doesn't make any whistling sound. The neck of the bottle is nice and wide, which makes it easy to clean and see inside. I chose the straight stainless steel model because, unlike the painted versions, you can put it in the dishwasher, which has worked well and is handy. Would highly recommend, couldn't be happier. I have had the bottle for a couple of weeks and will post a PS if anything goes awry.
