Kogan 24" KALED24DVDZD Questions & Answers
VerifiedWhat remote do I need to work my KALED24DVDZD model tv.
Just bought this caravan with 2 Kogan tvs in it .can you please advise if these are also 12 volt capable kaled24dvdzd and kaled28LH600DRB
Yes they are 12v compatible...you should have 12v leads plugged into the rear of the TV 's...
We are unable to set up our channels as the menu doesn't allow us to go there. It goes to pictures, but we can't get on to sound or channel.
Please advise, as we have no tv for our caravan and are on a 3 month trip. Regards, Shirley

Hi Shirley, I only just received your enquiry. Firstly, I do not currently have access to our new TV... but have referred to the user manual, which I downloaded when I purchased our new TV. Do you have a user manual?
If not, I think I downloaded ours from the Kogan web-site. It shouldn't taken much time to find after a search (it shows to be 11,353 KB in size. I.e. about 11.4 MB).
From looking in the manual... to access the channel function... press menu, then scroll to the right from picture, through sound, to channel, then scroll down to the tuning selection.
Although you have probably tried this with the remote... you may not have tried the same procedure WITHOUT the remote.
It is possible to access and go through the menu functions using the buttons on the side of the TV... and I think this is certainly worthwhile trying.
If no luck... there are still a couple of other things you could try.
I can't find a 'reset' button shown in the manual, and I don't know if this model has one... but if it were me, I'd thoroughly examine the TV for a reset button, or a tiny hole labelled reset (which you can press with a paper clip or similar).
If you find a manual reset, I'd 'reset it' and try the menu again.
Alternatively, there is a 'reset to default' selection available in the menu.
I think you would access this via the 'settings' tab and 'preferences' (again, either using the remote, or by the buttons on the side of the TV)
If at any stage you are asked for a password, the default password is '0000' (i.e. 4 zeros).
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Brad
Hi Shirley, Did you get my reply? I thought I'd check to confirm I understood correctly... Did you mean you can't access the auto-tuning? Or just not receiving channels? If the latter... it may simply need re-tuning due to travelling.
Regards,
Brad
Hi Brad, Thank you for your help. All is well now, we also needed the password. Sorry I haven't replied sooner but we have been driving every day, and have just stopped for a bit.
Shirley
