42" Smart Full HD LED TV Series 9 KALED42RF923OSTA absolute rubbish – I received this TV yesterday and I have spent hours today trying to scan the free to air channels. It's impossible and Kogan's Helpline is non-existent. You have to email them and wait for them to email back - no one to actually talk to and help you through it. My other TVs (LG brand) have no problem with the free to air channels and Netflix, Disney etc. Kogan's TV does download Netflix, Disney channel ok ( hence the 1 star), but it's as though the channel scanner is faulty. Really frustrating! I want my money back and I will buy another brand.

Purchased in at Kogan.com for $289.

Hi, Thank you for letting us know about your experience. We are sorry that you have been having issues contacting our Help Desk. As an online-only business, we are best equipped to respond to all our customer enquiries via email.

If you are an on-line only help then you should attend to requests of help quickly and not days later. Then when you do email back read the request and actually help, not send a link to the manual (because everyone has tried that already). I did get the TV working after 'Resetting' it 4 times! The quality of the TV is below average, very time consuming to set up and customer service is terrible. I will not buy a Kogan product again.

I love my Kogan TV – I bought my first Kogan TV around 12 months ago (42") and I love it. No problems whatsoever. I am technically challenged, but I plugged this TV in and away it went. Tuning was easy, the picture is beautiful, the price was fantastic. I notice there is a review written complaining about the picture not fitting the screen. Mine fits perfectly. I think you may just need to find the right button on your remote. I have no problems with my remote either.

Easy to use with all the main buttons being well placed and marked. I bought a cheaper brand digital TV before this one, and it was a total pain in the backside to tune, and the button labels were so small I couldn't even read them. I <3 love my Kogan TV and have since bought 2 more. Good on ya Kogan, keep up the good work! Easy to use

Bad Choice. TV tuner and Remote are poor – Bought this TV a couple of year back and haven't used it much because I feel like throwing the remote at it every time i try to use it The HDTV tuner just does not work and Kogan decided to use the crappiest remote. Seriously, stuck with it till I get frustrated and break it or throw it out. Oh, did i mention no Firmware upgrades! Price.

TV Frame – I received my 42 inch LED tv last week after three weeks. The picture is good and it s got a lot of features but the screen was not properly fit to the frame. there is a quality control stamp right behind this point! they asked me to send it for warranty claim. I don't understand why a brand new TV should be sent for a repair instead of replacement! picture screen is not properly fitted to the frame.

Why Not?
Why Not?

Wait until its back for its 2nd repair and see how they discourage doing repairs, or try to stall until its out of warranty.
