A Fantastic buy – So pleased that I finally upgraded and bought this at a really good price ~ $ 96 + postage, very pleased with it, have connected to my TV with a HDMI cable and it works perfectly. This is my first purchase from Kogan, I will certainly buy from them again

Almost perfect blu ray player – Almost brilliant product. I was a little skeptical at first mainly the $165 price I was always told you get what you pay for but in this case you can throw that saying away. The usb player on it far exceeds the one on my Samsung tv and the 4K upscaling mode is brilliant but the only downfall with this product is the picture adjustment settings brightness contrast, etc. you can't adjust them while playing a movie which is frustrating but apart from that go out and get one.
Near perfect transaction and performance – When connected to our high quality LG 4K television this unit is excellent and very good value. Persevere with set up. Recommended.
I gave up on the Kogan player and bought a slightly more expensive Panasonic player that claims to have same features. It does! All features work, unlike the Kogan unit.

After using this player for several weeks my experience is as follows. It plays 3D Blu-ray Discs faultlessly. It plays standard DVDs poorly with the picture being pixelated and slightly jerky. When it comes to playing Blu-ray Discs the performance is bad. Replay is jerky, whites are grey and contrast is dark. I reported these facts to Kogan and was offered the option to send the unit back for analysis. In the event the Kogan staff say there is nothing wrong with unit, or that it is my fault, I am required to pay $38 for postage and their technicians time. This could easily reach the purchase price of the player so I decided to put up with poor performance. Consider this fact when buying these players.
