Money for value – Very durable design product, fantastic features. Sturdy design specs. It's very kid friendly. Mostly viewing YouTube videos. Which is overrated with ads. The apps arnt compatible however is fantastic for searches. This due to the ban in China. Show details
good enough for me – When it comes to technology, I'm as dumb as dog crap. I bought mine second hand. Didn't know what I was in for. Yes it's slow, but so am I. It's good enough for what I use it for, you tube, gumtree and a couple of games. I don't know why people complain for. Like everything, you want cheap, you get cheap. :-)
Awful – Got my son one after he asked for an apple. Poor kid, he knew what he was talking about. Seriously awful product and lousy birthday present. Felt so guilty that it was atrociously slow. Today it finally went in the bin. He has been loving his iPad mini for nearly two years. Test the tablet you want to buy, first. This sucker was heavy and slow to… Read more
load a webpage. Did I mention, SLOW? Kogan is rubbish. $250 down the drain, into some millionaire's pocket. Never again

Kogan doesn't provide updates or any support – Don't buy Kogan Agora tablets as they don't provide any updates or any kind of support. ZERO after sales service.
"Stay Clear" piece of rubbish – I can only confirm what others are saying, they do not work effectively and give nothing but problems. Bought 2 for our children to watch movies on and find it almost impossible to load a movie to play. I've been communicating with Kogan for months in an attempt to get these issues resolved for which they cant even advise what file formats the… Read more
movie files need to be in order to play.
I have tried every file format, codec and movie player combination available without any success.
Kogan initially made an attempt at providing customer support which later turned into a continual roundabout of ignorance that there is nothing wrong and refuse to acknowledge that their product is flawed. I have since resorted to lodging a formal complaint through the office of Consumer and Business Services in an attempt to get a refund.
To anyone reading this, Please reconsider buying this cheap nasty product for a trialled and trusted brand such as Apple or Samsung. Paying the extra money is worth every cent in comparison.
If this does'nt discourage you, then please contact me as i have two Kogan tablets that i'm more than happy to sell you!!!!!
should have spent my hard earned money on a well known and trusted brand
I too got one today (unfortunately).
Wast of Money – It is completely waste of money; the performance is really bad keep hanging keep crashing, impossible to complete any operation smoothly, even normal internet browsing extremely slow. I will never buy cheap devices again; I will pay more and get something working guaranteed. Also It took more than 3 weeks to receive it. It look like a real tablet !!! No sufficient resources to run programs, Keep crashing, wast of money.
Unhappy customer – I ordered a Kogan agora 10" Android tablet back in November had to wait 3 weeks for it to be delivered as it was preordered. Was happy to receive it but it froze within 2 weeks of receiving it, after many emails unanswered from Kogan I finally sent it back under 14 day money back now nearly 3 months later I am still waiting on a refund or… Read more
even a call to let me know what is happening - very unhappy with their service once they have your money they dont want to know you. Will never buy from Kogan again.
Brand new and froze
2012 Angora Tablet with Android Ice Cream Sandwich 16GB version – Just got this yesterday after a 3 week wait as they sold out. It is really good for $200. The size is excellent and the latest Android is a lot better on previous versions. It plays movies well and the screen is very responsive with multi touch. The latest version has 2 usb slots, 1 for charging and 1 for data. It also has a seperate slot… Read more · 5
for charging with the 240v charger. It also has a micro sd slot to expand up to 32gb.
The speakers could be a little bit louder but the general responsiveness is good. It would have been good if it came with a cover of some sort.
The camera on the back is only a 2meg version, good for the price. I didn't buy it to take photos, mainly for reading, email, internet, editing documents and playing games.
Wireless internet is fast. I mainly use it to connect with my phone as a wireless access. The phone internet slows down sometimes (Optus) but it is fast at home on 4G. Size, battery life, watching movies, Android. Needs a cover.
Value for money – I've had mine for a couple of days and am suitably impressed. Great for picture viewing, Utube, Google Earth (use ver.1.2.2, later versions didn't work), email, browsing, Kindle, pdf's and so on. However the camera is webcam quality only and won't work with the version of Skype that I installed. Good value. Easy to use. Camera could do with a bit of work :-). Show 2 replies
