Great for 6 Months – Used this every day for six months. Really great, felt that my teeth were extra clean and fresh. The pressure was fine, my gums only slightly bled twice. But then.. at 4am it turned on by itself. Gave my fiancé & I the biggest scare as it is pretty loud and we were sound asleep. Every couple hours it kept turning on. At about 10am, it started… Read more

turning of and on. As we can’t simply take the battery out, we had to place it outside to let the battery die out. It was great while it lastest but it really was a waste. Could’ve invested in another brand that would’ve lasted longer

broken kogan flosser – I owned two of this in 6 months. First one broke after 3 months or so. It stopped pumping water out. Its charging but not working. They send me a replacement which did the same thing. Emailed kogan still no reply in 3 days. I am starting to get gingivitis from not flossing. Show details

Broken after one use – I was stunned at how clumsy this product was and wants like drowning. A water hosecwouldve bern better. It says not to turn upside down but how do you avoid mold if you d o by empty. Long story short, it arrived yesterday, it's not working today. A waste of sixty dollars Show details

Kogan cordless water flosser – Bought 2 of them within one year. Worked well for first couple of months. Then out of the blue it just turned on by itself without anyone touching it. Happened to both. Now we are not able to charge them. Very disappointed they are only good for a very short time. Show details

Updated review – *** Updated review For a couple of months of this flosser worked really well. One morning while using it, the unit made a very loud sharp crackling sound (like it was shorting out), it gave me a huge fright, and that was the end of the flosser. Binned. I contacted customer service who arranged a refund without any problems at all. I would never… Read more

have accepted a replacement of this flosser because I could never trust it again.

******************************************************** Old review

There are only a couple of things that let this flosser down a bit: * On the highest setting, it's not as powerful as I had hoped; it still does the job adequately. * When I turn the flosser off it reverts to the lowest pulse setting instead of staying on the setting I last used. That means you need to cycle back through to the high setting every time you turn the flosser back on eg after refilling the reservoir, that's a lot of extra wear and tear on the buttons.

Decent reservoir size for a cordless.

Overall, I think it does a pretty good job for the price!

I have only had it for a couple of weeks. If any problems arise with buttons etc over the next few weeks/months I will update my review. I am not going to take any special care about getting water on/in buttons etc, this gadget is supposed to be designed for use with and around water and if it's not up to it, that's not my problem.

Adequate water flosser – I've had this water flosser for a few months. Semi regular use. So far it has done everything it says it is meant to, without any of the negatives in other reviews. The size might be a little cumbersome for small hands. Given the other reviews about spontaneous issues, I use it in a deliberate way to avoid water falling back over the buttons or the charging ports, and only charge when it needs it. Seems to be keeping it nice for now. Show details

Arrived in good order and working condition-and failed after about four months – The water flosser needed charging-so used the charger-the second time i had needed to. Unattended and on charge it suddenly switched on spraying water liberally. It ran for jst over a minute before I turned it off. It has never worked again! Kogan were advised. Their request for a video - of a unit not functioning-was about all they offered. The… Read more

At last! a kogan product that lasts more than a year! – I have always had trouble with kogan brand electrical items. They just don't seem to have any quality. But i am also cheap so i keep getting sucked into buying something once in a while. I don't have faith in the product but i do have faith in the returns team giving me my money back without too much hassle. I took a chance with the kogan… Read more

branded water flosser and was pleasantly surprised. It is still working well 12 months after purchasing.

BTW the extended warranty is a MUST for all kogan branded electrical goods.

Don't buy – Starts independently and is impossible to get help from Kogan help phone number. Should have read reviews before purchase. Last purchase from Kogan. Plan to buy Waterpik. You get what you pay for.

The two I've had lasted just 2 months - don't buy it – I bought a Kogan water flosser which worked OK for 2 months then the on/off switch started malfunctioning. It started turning itself on in the middle of the night and other times when I was using it I couldn't turn it off and it would run for an hour or so before flattening the battery. I emailed Kogan and they said to unplug the unit from all… Read more

power sources for 5 minutes, and then plug the unit back into a different power socket, in most cases that would resolve any intermittent issues. It didn't and they agreed to replace it but I had to wait another month for it as they were currently out of stock.

The replacement one only lasted 2 months also. They refused to refund the purchase price and the Kogan Customer Care rep said "I can assure that what has occurred is an isolated case". But then I found all these negative reports from unhappy customers so my two breakdowns clearly were not isolated cases.

Flosser keeps turning its self on – I've put it in the cupboard in something soft while it busses on and off continually. Waiting for the battery to run out! There's no way to turn it off permanently. Was fine for the first for the first six months. Can I get it replaced after this much time? We liked it so much we had already ordered a second one, plus replacement tips.

Will not last very long – While it worked it was good, but within two months the water pressure adjustment button began to play up, by four months it stopped working and still waiting for a refund from Kogan a month later.

Another person who has had two and second one stopped working now ! – I had one of these, used it twice and it stopped. Wouldn't charge or anything. Got it replaced and now have the same problem with the second one. The product is OK if it works. I suspect a well recognised brand such as Waterpik would work better and also last longer. become sub-standard to keep prices down and you really need to be careful about buying their products these days unless it is something purely electronic like a TV or known brand. I sense anything mechanical is likely to have problems because they are too cheap and not made to last.

Product ok Usage cumbersome – Mainly bought this because the price was good. The product is ok and works fine but it is just very cumbersome to use. I only use it now when having a dental issue. Will buy the real thing in the near future.

THIS PRODUCT IS USELESS.iT HAS TO BE REFILLED TO DO UPPER AND LOWER. wILL NOT FIT UNDER – This product is useless and disappointing. It has to be refilled at least once, does not fit under a bathroom tap, is bulky and as it cannot be tilted, making it impossible to clean the back of the teeth. I expected better from Kogan.

2 units, same failure – The first water flosser worked but failed to charge after using twice. A warranty replacement unit was sent and just like the first one, it failed to charge a coupe of times after use. Most other items bought from Kogan were all right. Advised Kogan to remove from sale. Let us see.

Second one in the bin – Just like the previous writer my flosser turned itself on without warning in the middle of the night and I could not turn it off. just stopped working – My first one was used about three times before it stopped allowing water through, but still made the noise. Great first flosser – Hi brought this flosser to see what water flossing was like. Like all irrigation water flossers it takes some goes to not splash everywhere. Practically useless – Like most Kogan products, they look like a good deal but you are better off buying something else. it wrong and they would contact me when they had them in. Of course that was the last I heard from them.

Who sells a product that gives you no hope of obtaining replacement parts. I mean if it was just for me the jets are going to wear out at some stage. Then again looking at other reviews, this doesn't look like a long term purchase..

Not Water Resistant – After about 5 months, the flosser started randomly turning itself on. I did try to turn it off but after a short time it would turn itself on again. This fun and games lasted a while until I figured out how to turn it off permanently. Bathroom product but not suitable to be left in the bathroom.

Randomly turns on and off – One month of use and flosser started turning on and off randomly, spitting water all over the bathroom and waking us at night. Worked at The Start And Then Dies – The water flosser do sort of work but not as good as actual flossing but it works for lazy people. But sadly I purchased 2 of these as one was for a gift and they both die just before 1 year use. But this machine is very badly made, as both machines had problems with the power supply or plug. Didn't bother getting another one, seems like a waste of money on poorly made product.

Does the job – It definitely removes food particles and is excellent at getting in the pockets around my wisdom teeth. However I had to get it replaced as it was turning itself on and I was unable to switch it off. Though I found out it has an incredibly long run time. Customer service was excellent and getting it replaced was fast and super easy.

3rd time lucky so far – I am on my 3rd unit now, had a lot of problems but I really like it. Easy to use and quite effective. Could have electrocuted my family or set my house on fire – My wife was in the kitchen cooking dinner when she heard a loud bang from the bathroom. Does the job and is much cheaper than identical name brand versions – I like it. Much easier than using dental string so you are more likely to actually floss. After using it the first few times I tried regular flossing to check and the floss came out clean every time, so it definitely works. It does run out of water fast but that is a side-effect of being cordless and not tethered to a larger tank, not a big deal.

3rd time lucky – I really like the flosser but the 1st one only lasted a couple of months before it developed a fault. this one too without question.

I am now on my 3rd flosser and so far so good. I have noticed on this unit that the charger shows a red led when charging which changes to green when charging is completed. The other two only showed green all of the time but as this function was not described in the instructions, I was not aware of an obvious fault.

You don't know what you don't know. I suggest Kogan update the charging instructions to advise when the charging is not normal.

There are better options – I bought two of these but only opened one - knowing that ( for health reasons) it would not be possible to return them once they were opened and used. be difficult to use initially.

I tried the various pik ( nozzle) tips that came with it and can say that they are effective in changing the way it functions.

Both my wife and I are daily flossers and although using floss wrapped around your fingers - like the dentist does - is difficult, we have long ago changed to using disposable dental floss picks & interdental wire brushes. They are not difficult to use and do not require a trip to the bathroom and all the elaborate paraphernalia and mess that this gadget involves.

The main reason I bought them was to clean behind my bottom teeth - the main place where tartare and plaque seem to build up. So far I have not found any way to get this device to target this area - as it will not work if held horizontally to upside down. So it seems that the only way it might work here would be to stand on your head!

I am returning the unopened one today.

I also found I ran out of water very quickly and never really felt I managed to get between all my teeth regardless of how many times I refilled the tank. There must be better designed water flossers if you really must have one - but I would recommend good old fashioned brushing (with a cordless electric

Impractical - poor design. Difficult/impossible to use effectively.
