Kogan Full HD 1080P Touchscreen
Verified1 review
Cheap and nasty – This review is for the Kogan Full HD 1080p without the touchscreen. This model isn't listed on Product Review so I'm posting this here. The price was low, but any astute camera buyer if wanting a bargain can easily pick up a much better camera like a Canon or Panasonic for a similar price. If you are in this boat, pick up a nearly discontinued model from a big brand and you'll do much better than with Kogan.
Don't be fooled by the low prices by Kogan. Almost nothing. Came with a high quality SD card from kingston. Doesn't shoot in low light, even at the highest sensitivity. The highest sensitivity isn't sensitive at all. Doesn't record in 1080p despite the name. Bad video quality. Missing a lot of basic video functions. Colour not good at all.

A few more things. The colour images were highly posterised, ie it was shooting at less than 8 bit colour, the absolute minimum required for passable images. The only controls that actually did something was the on/off switch. Menu was bad. There are several buttons on the camera that don't do anything.
