for a close neck shave. There are no instructions for removing the guide. But removal is accomplished by extending the guide to the 10 mm mark, pressing down on the inner end whilst sliding outwards. Reinstalling is done simply by aligning the guide tracks and sliding inwards. Minor criticisms are that there is no mention of a warranty; no indication of the battery type, and the charging light doesn't indicate when fully charged. Also, it is very lightweight being mainly plastic (but with stainless steel blades), so its durability is uncertain. I've knocked 1 star off for those minor points. Being cordless and rechargeable makes it very convenient. After 3-4 uses, I am very satisfied and happy to recommend it, although the 4 stars may need revision after more use.
