4Big Quadra rubbish – I have a problem with a LaCie product and have been trying their support line for hours. They say they are in a meeting or training to improve their service - HOW ABOUT ANSWERING THE PHONE! There's an automatic improvement. They just don't want to hear problems after you've spent $1,000 on one of their products

Good – Overall, if used on a home computer and not moved around this is a product. Regarding movement - I had my computer set up in a room with a spendable floor and the movement from just walking into the room caused the external hard drive to skip and either corrupt files that were transferring, delete files or the hard drive itself. great amount of storage... easy to use and set up. this is a reliable brand and the equipment last for years. I have had this one unit for four years and used it on several computers both Apple Mac and PC. You have to be careful not to move as this can delete or corrupt files.
