Wonderful BLURAY Player – I know there may be lemons out here, but there are also good players as well. I have never had any problems with mine. Plays all my region 2 very well and all my HB cartoons. Took on holidays to Broadbeach many times. Just remember for every bad one sold, a good one has been sold as well. Show details

Doesnt work – The laser company doesn’t understand what the term ‘eject’ means. Several times, customers have returned this to our retailer due to the player not ejecting the DVD, so once you put in a film, grab your hammer to bash the thing wide open because that’s the only way to get your disc back. Show details

Dont Bother – We have purchased 2 of these the older model and the current , the older one BD3000 became really noisy and wouldn't play DVD's or BLU Ray unless they were cleaned every time. play a DVD at all even a new one, then it stopped playing BluRay Discs as well, so i returned to Sanity who we purchased it form and are just tolerating the old one until it bombs. Its a pity because the picture they produce is really good but no point when they really are a disposable item. Just buy a better one.

Crappy DVD Player – This DVD player is rubbish. It does work but most DVDs have problems running and/or jitter when played so it skips half the movie. It can play videos from USBs, but only supports weird formats. If you are tight for money I would say this is the dvd player for you but if you have at least $100 I would recommend buying a "Brand" DVD Player.  Show details

Great value – Great value for price this dvd player so easy to connect up to my tv and its small so it doesnt get in the way easy to navigate skip through scenes easily rewind even my 5 year old daughter can operate it if your looking for value this would be it.  Show details

what a frustrating process that was to sort out the audio settings. The writing on the instructions is so small I could hardly read that! Its slow to open and close. Bad Quality, Noisy, – It makes a loud noise that is very annoying and the navigation screen is annoying and hard to use. It didn't come with a hdmi cable which meant I couldn't use it straight away and the instructions are hard to understand. Great – This device works great, I have had it for months with it being used everyday. Never had an issue only downside is it doesn't have a play button on the actual box so if the remote is miss placed you need to search for it other than that it's great.  Show details

Spend the extra $50 – I’ve gone through 3 of these in the space of 6 months. It has stopped working again but I cannot be bothered sending it back as I’ve spent around $40 in postage and I may as well put $100 towards a reputable brand. burring noise and terrible buttons/functions – The same as other users. After only about 5 dvd's it makes a very loud burring/knocking sound. it was placed on top of a table and never moved. Also, the remote control is a complete mystery. So hard to see the functions and to know what they do. The remote control for the Laser DVD Players have tiny print and minuscule buttons which are very hard to use and you need to have excellent vision to use them.

The picture quality of Laser DVD Players is also poor, If you view any older television programs or movies with a Philips brand DVD player there will be noticeably less picture noise. I believe this because the Laser DVD players lack Upscaling of video to 1080HD resolution.

This Laser DVD player was so bad I returned this DVD player to the store for a refund, the replacement Laser DVD player was just as bad. Another replacement also had the same problem. After several replacements and a long struggle I finally managed to persuade Harvey Norman to give me a refund.

The quality of Laser DVD Players has gone down to such a point they are now not worth buying.

Easy to set up and works perfectly – Purchased from Harvey Norman at a cost of $34. Does not come with any cables but I had the old Yellow, Red and White cables from the DVD player it was replacing and they worked perfectly. So easy to set up, three plugs into the DVD, three plugs into the TV and turn it on. As simple as that. The quality of the picture is excellent for what I watch and I would recommend this product.  Show details

Does not do as advertised – Does not play all region codes as I purchased for and as advertised. Would not recommend this for playing your imported DVD's. only has AV connections no HDMI. Excellent for the price – Bought it this week and found price for such specifications is unbelievable, given it plays all regions disc. Quality in performance is average and cannot compare with Pioneer (I have 2 models for more than 10 years) . The output sound (6/10 star) level is too low and picture quality is acceptable (6/10). Price (10/10) Will not hesitate to recommend for the price paid. Great achievement by Laser.  Show details

This dvd is pretty good for the price you pay – Player is great, for the price you pay its great value. But please be careful when purchasing, I bought one off BIG W and the dvd player didn't work and looked tampered with. It has reasonable functions and it runs of HDMI which saves costs as well. Searching the laser remote – I lost my remote and I didn't know what to do so I tried to to search my laser DVDs remote it help a little but I think that was a bad idea so I think you guys might want to try it but I think that is a bad idea  Show details

Good picture on TV – I am happy with this product as the picture quality on the TV is Excellent. It was easy to install and the product is easy to use. The remote is compact. I had a another Laser DVD player 2 years ago and only lasted about a year so I will see how this product gos.

Cute, Compact And a Great Price! – I bought this little DVD player from Big W for $30! Perfect for the kids room and works like a charm. Was so excited that I'm only realising now that you can use an HDMI cable to connect to tv and don't need to worry about all the other wires! Plays all regions of DVD's which is awesome because a lot of our DVD's are from Canada. Also has a USB option which is handy for popping quick movie on for kids! Win win. :)
