Should have read the review beforehand – Similar to the other reviews, this is our 6th piece of Le Creuset, 6 months from when the warranty expired, the enamel peeled off. Sent off the photos and email Le Creuset, they redirect us to the store where we bought it. After to and fro (emails) being told they won’t replace the stockpot claiming the damage was due to overheat, we have been using it the same way for 4 years. How do you overheat water in a stockpot???

What a piece of rubbish – I owe several Le Creuset pans and casserole dishes, so it was with high expectations that I invested around $200 for this stockpot from Peters of Kensington. What an absolute disappointment - I have used the pot around 5 - 6 times on my induction stove and from the beginning it has burnt jams and sauces. The last straw was this past Christmas when I boiled my ham in a soft rolling beer stock for Christmas. It burned the part of the ham that was in contact with the bottom of the pot!
I contacted Peters of Kensington and explained that this pot is not up to the high standard one would expect from a world renowned brand such as Le Creuset and also does not live up to the $200 price tag.
After several emails the outcome was that they accused me of not using the pot correctly and was using it at too high temperature. It is extremely insulting, as I owned my own restaurant and I am an experienced cook.
I have given up, as I cannot be bothered to fight them on this, instead I will use my time and energy to warn others not to bother with this piece of cr,..p.
Better to spend your money on other well known brands.
