Non-Stick Quality

Was great for 5 years – Just non-stick gradually started to lose its non-stick quality in the middle - making French omelettes very hard. It was the only thing I use this pan for and was now getting less stick with carbon steel, so this pan was non longer used at all. Reading around, it seems to be the case that quality non-sticks from all manufacturers do start to… Read more

lose their effectiveness around this time, despite exemplary treatment (no steal, scourers, dishwashers, high heat with nothing in pan,...). No flaking or surface blemishing - the omelette just wouldn't slide like it used to. It's really the only reason you'd tolerate non-stick given the extra precautions it requires.

Fortunately Le Creuset honored the lifetime guarantee on it and replaced it. So rating this given an expected non-stick life of 5 years.

Don't waste your money – Paid £75 for non stick pan to which everything sticks! It is worse than the £5 , 3 year old pan it is replacing. Customer service was pompous and demeaning. Show details

Le Creuset Non stick? Rubbish. Don't buy or consider – The brand Le Creuset advertised as life time warranty. The non stick products also stick even on low heat. I am not sure why the false advertising. Bought a non stick pan. Fry dumplings and notice peeling. Took it back to the store and nearly a month later, the assessor rejected the replacement. Claiming it was the user fault and not the… Read more

product faulty. Even staffs at the store are aware of the fault. I guess it was easier to say no. I have many Le Creuset products in my kitchen and will need to find another product to replace it. These are no cheap so I am extremely disappointed. Never again!

The Non Stick Doesn’t Last - Not Covered By Warranty, Can’t Use in Dishwasher – The non-stick ‘glide’ was gone after about 7-8 months! Now when we cook food it sticks, and thin layers of black stick to the pan. You can’t get these off unless you scrub, and if you scrub you lose the warranty. Definitely not worth it. We also put one of ours in the dishwasher (it’s supposed to be dishwasher safe), and the black non-stick coating started to come off at the edges.

Non Stick casserole – Have had for less than a year and non stick is already coming off, use only possibly 8 times in 10 months and it is wearing already, based on other reviews it seems this is a problem that the brand does not compensate for, pathetic! Show details

Frying pans non stick did not last – Non stick only lasted less than a year, although I have been very careful with them. I never used metal utensils or put them in the dishwasher. I am very disappointed with the frying pans. They were very expensive and did not last long, as the nonstick surface is peeling off there is a brown surface underneath. I expected much more from such a wellknown brand. Show details

Revolting behaviour from this so-called luxury brand – ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BUY ONLINE. All their pictures on the website have been doctored and photoshopped and the products aren’t anywhere near the colours they portray on their website. Then when you want to return it because it’s not as described YOU HAVE TO PAY RETURN POSTAGE ON HEAVY ITEMS. Because their website pictures are “for illustration… Read more

purposes only” that’s such crap. It’s a shopping website. Lying about your products is illegal. Save your time and money, purchase something else. They’re such a ridiculous joke. If I started a business and just posted crap in a different colour then told customers it was for illustration purposes only it would go down like a tonne of bricks. But somehow le creuset think that they’re above this because they’re a big company. So don’t give your money to these liars, shop elsewhere. Revolting. I am so disappointed, I expected good customer service from a “luxury” brand. Lolllll

I’ve added pictures of how pretty the colours look on the website and the ugly khaki army green it is in reality

coating rusts within a year of purchase – do not buy. The coating disappeared after approximately one year of use. We are a couple in our seventies and was used no more than once a week, often not for several weeks. So not overused. The teflon coating (or whatever it is) has rusted away and looks dangerously brown. Throwing it out, a total wast of money Show details

Best pans I've ever owned – I have a couple and have used the smaller one (mostly for eggs) probably once a day for over a year. It is still in excellent condition with no signs of it going downhill. I'll never buy another brand. I did however READ THE DIRECTIONS that came in the box. I treat it exactly as they recommend. It's so easy to clean.  Show details

Buyer beware ! – Pan coating disintegrated within 18 months Le Creuset refused to acknowledge, blamed user error and overheating much like other reviews. Fair trading unable to sway this company and will be returning our remaining items to this unreasonable organisation. Show details

Not what it used to be – The latest TNS item purchased a year ago had issues from the beginning, starting with discolouration on the base. Le Creuset ‘diagnosed’ it as a cooktop or food issue, recommending use of stainless steel cleaner to remove. Cleaning helped however, stain returns after each use. As it didn’t impact actual performance of the pot itself, I resigned… Read more

myself to the fact the base discolours. A year after using the pot on average once a month, noticed a bit of external coating chipped off, which never happened to any of the other TNS items I own and have used over the years on the same cooktop. Le Creuset reluctantly agreed to replace the pot, repeatedly making it clear it is a one-off and the issue was mis-use at my end. Given this never happened to any of other older TNS items (even with photo evidence), leads to one conclusion - the product is no longer what it used to be and not worth the pain to rectify any issues. Will be looking for alternatives.

Do not buy, waste of money – Coating does not last long before sticking and rep saying no warranty because overheat? They want me to put the pan on low heat to cook. What a joke, better spend your money on other brands like Fissler they replace my pan at no cost when coating was fade. Show details

Love this pan, easy to use and clean – Works great, after a year still a perfect surface (had to learn to use it right and not overheat) and very easy to clean. The handle can heat a little but only when directly over the heat. Even being rough with it has not damaged it and will definitely invest in another piece as soon as I can.  Show details

Do yourself a favour and spent your money elsewhere – Non stick only last less than a year. Lifetime warranty only for manufacturer fault. A rep confirmed it. Very disappointed it is very expensive and you think it would last longer. I wish someone told me about the poor quality of this product. My other frypans are older and in better condition.  Show details

Warranty not honored – These pans are sold with a lifetime warranty; it's limited if you read the fine print. In any case, the non-stick surface lasted about 11 months in the 2 pans I bought and warranty replacement was refused on the basis there was no manufacturing fault. They do probably last a lifetime - if you don't use them.  Show details

Le Creuset lifetime warranty is not honoured – I purchased a non stick Le creuset 4 yrs ago. The surface is now not non stick and food sticks which renders the pan unsuitable in which to cook. I returned the pan to the Le Creuset store in Elizabeth St Brisbane to be told that they will not replace the pan. The pan had been purchased online prior to the store opening in Brisbane. I returned… Read more

the pan to them so they could physically inspect the pan to see there were no scratches on the surface of the pan and to see it had been well looked after. The retail assistant sent photos of the pan to her Manager who said that the boost or pulse function on the induction cooktop must have been used. I explained that the boost or pulse function had never been used on the pan as this function had never been used on the cooktop ever. He has not even physically inspected the pan and makes the incorrect assumption.

I am seeking a replacement pan as the product carries a lifetime warranty and is now unsuitable to use even though it has been well looked after. Le Creuset is refusing to honour the warranty. The pan was circa $350 and is unsuitable to use. I have 5 other Le creuset (enamel & cast iron) products which are all still in great condition and would be 5-8 yrs old. The retail assistant at the Elizabeth St store has been extremely rude and is refusing to replace the pan. Does Le Creuset honour its warranty or are you expected to discard an expensive , supposedly quality product? Can Le Creuset please do the right thing and replace the pan as per the warranty.

Not worth the money – I bought two different Le Creuset pans for a small fortune. The smaller pan went back to the store after three weeks as the non stick coating started peeling off. After that, I was too scared to use the Paella Pan for fear that I might ruin it. Now that I've been using it for 12 months, my original concerns have been realised. The Paella pan is… Read more

poorly designed as the handles get really hot and you can't use them while cooking. The base has 'domed' up in the middle so everything runs to outside perimeter. I've had cheap pans last longer and perform better.

Love it! – Expensive but worth it. Have only owned this for a few months but it is beautiful, easy to use and easy to clean, and makes cooking a breeze. Heavier than expected but still easy to use. I was sick of buying cheap non- stick that doesn't last so thought I would treat myself to some quality cookware. Now I'll be buying one for mum! Makes cooking so easy. Ease of use. Ease of cleaning. Expensive

Love it – This is the best non stick pan I have ever used. It cooks evenly, and easy to care for. I have used it for 6 months on a daily basis. It is beginning to show wear, which I think adds character, but is still performing well Besides, it looks classy compared to many of the others Reliable
