Lag in responsiveness – Cannot get over the fact that there is a delay in responsiveness. I have become used to waiting for the tablet to do what I have asked it to. Surely there is a fix for this time delay? It is a so so tablet. No slot for a wifi card. Very basic. Chrome browser is constantly wanting to close. I suspect the on board memory is insufficient.  Show details

Good tablet for price – Updated from original 1st gen iPad in 2016. It has done many hours of use. Just of late it's internet wifi signal seems to be dropping out on and off, maybe my home internet..unsure? Streams great and good picture when in use of streaming. Does seem to be slowing down when going to a page, maybe I need to factory reset it?. It has done a good job… Read more

for the price I paid and hours it has worked. It is not top of the range but bought it knowing this.

Worth the money? – I bought this a couple of months ago and it's now playing up, it will switch itself off at will and then won't start it's been doing this for about 3 weeks now but I can't take it back to Harvey Norman yet as it's an intermittent fault and sometimes doesn't do it at all so all I can do now is hope it packs up completely and hopefully get a… Read more

replacement.

Update after a lot of haggling Harvey Norman have now exchanged the tablet, credit where it's due.

Just Okay - But You Get What You Pay For – Bought this tablet about 12 months ago for my elderly mother as her Ipad was slowly dying. Thought we'd go for something cheaper since technology ages so quickly and is virtually 'throw away' after a few years. However, after using the Ipad for a few years, which I would say performs seemlessly and is perfect for elderly users, the Lenovo is a… Read more

bit of a let down. It's laggy and not as smooth running as the Ipad. For example, when you tap to enter data, the keyboard is slow to appear on screen. Then the words are slow to appear on screen after the letters have been typed.

But since my mother only checks emails and does a little web browsing, she maybe doesn't notice the lagginess.Still, I don't think I would purchase the Lenovo again, even though the price is great...only $220. Would likely go back to the Ipad with the understanding my mother would only get 2.5 - 3 good years from the machine, then upgrade again.

*****Update, 2/3/2018 - We ended up dtiching the Lenovo Tab 2 and purchased my mother a new iPad and she loves, loves, loves it. So user friendly unlike the Lenovo. Seeing how easily she uses the iPad and just how much she struggled with the Lenovo, I would not recommend the Lenovo Tab 2 unless it's all you can afford. Maybe good for kids for playing game apps.

The Lenovo Tab is an excellent and useful Tool – I bought my Lenovo Tab 2 A10-30 in February 2017, and it has been excellent, especially for just over a couple of hundred dollars. It handles me having quite a few websites open at any one time, and I have not had any memory issues at all. Battery life is good enough. I put in on charge every night while I sleep, and I have never had an issue with out running out with normal use.  Show details

Durable! – We have 2 small children who are quite careless when it comes to phones and tablets! We recieved 2 of the Lenovo tablets for Christmas last year, they've fallen, had a cracked screen and has not stopped working!!! The 10 inch screen is amazing and the graphics are still so clear when watching movies! We've always recommend the Lenovos since!  Show details

Good device – This tablet isn’t perfect, but it’s not bad either. It has most of the important aspects in terms of a media consumption device. It has a decent design, a pretty great display, with excellent battery life and sound. Not to mention a micro-SD card to expand storage and fill it full of apps, games, movies or music. The movies will look and sound… Read more

great, the battery will last long enough to watch more than a movie or two, and the additional storage means I won’t have to worry about running out of space.

Good value. Worth it for the price – We bought this tablet for business mostly. It does the job that expensive tablets do and works well. We did get a dud at first but the store we bought it from quickly replaced it with a new one. We were told that these get sold really quickly compared to another brand they stock, which, the sales assistant would not recommend at all. This guy… Read more

also said Lenovo products are rarely defective. I have to agree. I have another Lenovo product and it has worked well after a minor issue with the hard drive. If you take care of it, it would last you.

Great Value – We purchased for our business so we can work away from the office. We also use to entertain the kids on long car trips. Its a great compact tablet that does not cost an arm and a leg. Great on battery life. Very easy to navigate. Sound is pretty good.  Show details

Fanastic product love it! – Cheap for what it is works well and does most of the things more expensive tablets do. Look good and the build quality is fine, not going jto compete with higher end devices but is adequate for daily needs including browsing the internet. Would be improved with a better battery, longer life and faster charging.  Show details

Great value tablet, perfect for basic kids games and video streaming – Good size screen, extremely good battery life, Android feels customised and dumbed down (which is actually good for kids). Received system updates for a while, but support appears to have ceased since late 2016. Latest Android version for it is 6.0.1 with August 2016 security patch level. Great for streaming - great value.  Show details

Fantastic battery life and vibrant screen – We used to have a apple and kept on sending it in for repairs, so we decided to buy a samsung which admittedly lasted longer then the apple did .. Now the kids have been using this lenovo pad for over 3 + months and no issues as of yet, the battery life is amazingly long and the screen ultra vibrant .. The kids love it and keeps them out of our hair Seems to be more durable then other tablets but time will tell :)  Show details

Great product with an affordable price – I was looking for 2 tablets - one for my father and one for kid so ended up purchasing two of these tablets from The Office Work. The picture and sound quality is great. The biggest plus is big screen size with good specfs at an affordable price. We paid less than $190 dollars.  Show details

Easy to use, good battery life – We've found this tablet to be easy to use, have a fast enough processor and have a good battery life. It's a good price, nice enough size and is something we can just pick up and use without any drama. Our child can easily use it too. No problems with it at all, I do need to say that we are casual users and not using it to its full potential, not using it every day.  Show details

Best tablet for its price (by far) – We brought this Tablet for the family, as we needed another one for the house hold. We have a Samsung but the Lenovo had better specs and at a better price, so we brought it & yes it is far better than Samsung tablets hands down. I would not hesitate to buy another one, great value and superior specs.  Show details

Decent enough cheap tablet – Seems to be decent for a cheap tablet. I was trying to find something under $200 in the 10 inch size but there wasn't much to choose from and didn't really want to buy a no name brand. Had a few hiccups to begin with. The first one froze after update re-boot and as the reset menu thing was in Chinese, I couldn't reset to factory settings. Luckily,… Read more

officeworks swapped it for a new one. Same thing happened again though, I have a feeling this was caused by a live wallpaper that I downloaded through google play. Officeworks replaced again, this time made sure to avoid any live wallpapers and no worries, all working fine and no issues.

Don't update – The Lenovo Tab 2 A10 WAS the perfect tablet for use on public transport: light, excellent screen, speedy, and long battery life. I say WAS the perfect tablet, because the latest Android update has caused a number of issues which can't be fixed (excessive battery drain and random boot loops).  Show details

Cheap for a reason tablet pc – Purchased this from the Good Guys when it was on special for about $180, and at this price point, I honestly didn't have high expectations to begin with. I haven't had any major issues with it yet, but a couple of times it played up quite a bit, and it needed a factory data reset for it to work properly again, which was a bit annoying. I already… Read more

knew the screen resolution wasn't the best in the world, but I expected at least the screen brightness to be a lot brighter. I also found the speakers, which is marketed as premium, to be quite disappointing as the volume is too low even with the dual speakers, and the sound quality is poor. Even when considering the relatively low price I paid, I'd say it still represents poor value for money, and I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone because there are better options available.

Value for money – This tab is value for money, I bought it from Good Guys one month ago. It is user-friendly and a good quality product. Long life battery which can last for more than 2 days. So far I haven't had any issue with it. It is well priced for its quality. I would definitely recommend it !!  Show details

Awesome value for the money – This is a second one we bought, we mainly use it for kids but occasionally we jump onto it as well. Screen resolution is impressive, build quality is great, the sound is amazing. Never had any issues, battery life is exceptional, really happy, paid $178 at Officeworks, you cannot beat hat price for the quality.  Show details

Great for Kids – Bought specifically for games for my primary aged kids and does a great job. Can handle rough handling. Have not had an issue with it so for the price of was a great choice. Only small annoyance is that it takes a bit long to charge but then it lasts well on one charge so can't really complain.  Show details

Great inexpencive tablet – My elderly friend wanted a tablet to read ebooks and to check email, but did not want to spend hundreds of dollars on it. So after some research I got her this tablet at Office Works. Could not be happier, it works great. She is using it for several month now and loves her tablet.  Show details

Long Battery Life – Works really well, bought it three months ago. The battery life is great, easy to use. Great screen. Bought from Harvey Norman for $170. I did have to buy a new charger for it, not sure if it was due to my usage of it, or the product. I am buying one for my partner now.  Show details

Brilliant and responsive Android Tablet – I purchased my LenovoPad 2 about six months ago from Officeworks for $99.00. I wasn't expecting much for the price, however I have had Lenovo products in the past and couldn't pass on this special. The tablet has replaced my iPad, whilst it doesn't have built in 4G, it tethers to my WiFi or iPhone without any dramas. I can surf the… Read more

internet, check mail, watch YouTube videos all with ease whilst multitasking.

The HD screen is brilliant, audio from the internal speakers is suitable for videos and music, the SD card enables storage up to 256GB and the Android OS works seamlessly.

This tablet would suit anybody from a busy professional needing a spare device for a long flight out to a student needing a tablet for school.

The workmanship is second to none and has again restored my belief that Lenovo manufacture IT products of the highest quality.

Best entertainment – Great little tablet. Long battery life makes it a perfect travel companion. Two small things disappointed me. 1. I can't get an android version of my favorite casino and 2. the on/off button is hair triggered and situated right where you naturally hold the device and where the carry case fits causing many accidental switching off. Overall, very reliable, great screen images and easy to use.

Tablet performs well even for tv viewing – A quick update on the Tablet, it froze and died on me in May 2018 and I had to return it for a refund, Lucky I had an extended warranty for the unit otherwise I would have been out off pocket after not even 2 years. I bought this tablet from Officeworks in November 2016, its battery life is excellent and given there are very few apps on the… Read more

tablet itself there is plenty off room too add those you want and also delete or disable those you don't.

It is an Android unit which is easy too use and I find the picture too be clear and sound as well is very good. the one thing that does irritate me sometimes is that the screen automatically turns sideways and there is no setting on the menu too stop it doing that.

I stream TV shows on it regularly and the battery hardly drains at all I also use my headset as there is a jack up at the top right hand corner which makes it easy too do so.

I purchased a case through Amazon for the unit which enables me too stand it up on its side safely anywhere I wish too for watching or using it as a tablet too browse the internet.

It is heavier than I though it would be but that isn't a problem because I don't carry it around only use it at home. I originally bought it because the other tablet I have is only a 7 inch screen and I found it too small to do emails on it or read articles whether this one is just the right size.

I connect too my home WiFi too use the tablet, it is supposed too have SIM capability but have not been able too find were too put it on the unit itself.

Love the big screen – This tablet is bright and clear and big, good to play games and to search the web. Great for internet banking, instead of going the office to use the computer I can do it from the lounge where I can relax after a hard day at work. Good strong charger cord, it doesn't take too long to charge up the battery. Quick and easy to use..  Show details

Waste of money – Bought this yesterday and every time you move the tablet it turns off. Not very impressed. It is difficult to start....very unresponsive to the start key. Wasted my time and money. Great for the kids – If you dont want to spend too much on getting the kids a tablet then lenovo is your best choice. Slow processor means it goes slow – I have had my Lenovo Tab2 for about 6 months now and noticed it is progressively getting slower. There is a large lag between tapping on something and the tablet performing the function at times. This includes typing on the screen keyboard. Husband has bought himself a Samsung tablet and the difference is very noticeable. Would probably not purchase another.
