Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10

Great compact notebook – Touch screen work well, it is quite fast and compact. Connects wifi well and easy to use. Has been purchased to write a biography but can be used for anything you use a larger laptop for. Battery time is excellent and display is top notch. Fits easily in a handbag! Show details
Good entry level tablet – I used this tablet primarily for reading and Netflix, which it handled quite well. Anything more demanding (even trying to handle 2 browser tabs) and it really struggled. The OS is quite clunky and very limited in features, but if you just want a basic tablet then this is fine. It has a really really good battery life, I regularly got 15+ hours… Read more
screen time from a single charge. Plus the inbuilt kickstand was great. After about 7 months quite a few clusters of pixels started dying, and lots of dust was trapped under the screen. However it was still covered under warranty so I got a new one no questions asked.
Good quality for a cheap price – I bought this online while I was laid up and recovering from surgery and I particularly wanted something I could stand upright in front of me without having to hold onto it. The Yoga Tab 3 does this nicely with a fold out stand at the bottom. Good speakers and better than expected graphics. It's a quick start device and for what must be considered… Read more
an entry level tablet I reckon it performs very well. It is a little bit weighty but the stand and the ability to hang it off a hook takes care of that. I like that I can have quite a few pages open and jump between them with the box button. I've owned it for almost a year now and I tend to use it mostly for playing youtube music clips in the background while I'm working, or if I need to do a quick search online. It is a very easy screen to navigate and the touch works well. Apps respond well too. Because of where the power button is located on the side of the device it is quite easy to turn it off unintentionally but that's just a matter of mindfulness. I also like the way the camera rolls around so you can actually move the lense without moving the device and the picture quality is nice and sharp. I like it, a lot!

Well worth the purchase – Just like having your own all in one PC. This little thing is remarkable. I have only had this for 2 weeks, and already i am impressed. Brilliant Dolby sound. Handles apps with ease and multitasking is possible to say the least. I can watch netflix on it without any stopping or glitching, the screen is above average, better than alot of other… Read more
Tablets out there, and pretty much on par with the Samsung Tab. And the fact it has 2gb memory compared to the 1gb on other Tablets, I can't recommend it enough. And for well under $300, it's well worth spending the extra cash on something built to last. My last tablet was a Neos Soultech which is made by Pendo. Enough Said!!! I ended up using the old tablet as a Frisbee because it was so lacking in everything, but at $78 you get what you pay for. As for the Lenovo tab who make pretty good PC's, they've outdone themselves with this tablet. And it even has its own built in stand. Perfect!!! Now when i'm away I can watch movies and Foxtel!
Wonderful tablet – This tablet is not my first tablet, but it is my first from Lenovo. Let's be honest here, a lot depends on what you want from a tablet, so I set the stage by saying I am retired. I surf the web, I read books, watch television, listen to music, email and listen to radio stations in the main. Not a great fan of video games, but there are a few card… Read more
games on the tablet.
For all those things, this tablet is actually superb. It operates on Android 6, which just works without any issues, is actually free of bloatware, and you have complete unfettered access to load up pretty much anything. There is 3gb of ram, 32gb of internal storage and this I have boosted with a 126gb micro SD card. The 652 octacore Snapdragon chip is very fast, the screen is up there with all bar OLED screens, but I have to say I have a Samsung 8.1 with OLED and to be honest unless they are side by side there isn't an issue. I find the colour pallet excellent. It has Dolby Atmos included, and the volume of the speakers is actually very loud... louder than ANY tablet on the market. Most reviewers are polite and misleading when it comes to sound quality. The speakers here are clear, but they are small...small speakers simply cannot drive enough air to have base, but the Dolby Atmos does work and makes for an interesting experience.
The battery in this thing is incredible... it goes on for ever.
Taste is a subjective thing. The design is quirky with the cylinder down one side and the very useful kick stand, none of which are off-putting to me. Do not buy the case...this just adds to the weight. Instead get yourself a screen protector and some sort of sleeve to keep it in.
I know it isn't a mainstream tablet brand. As someone who has still got an old iPad and the Samsung mentioned earlier you would be selling yourself short not taking a long hard look at this model. I'd be surprised if you ended up disappointed.
The perfect media tablet – When one of my Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.5" inch died, I chose the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 10" because other friends recommended it. (Partially also because at the drop of a hat, this was the most affordable tablet I could find for my budget in just under $300. I've been playing around with it now for a couple of weeks and feel confident enough to offer… Read more
a review of what I've learned from it.
Appearance: 5/5
I have to admit this is the most uniquely designed tablet I've ever seen and stands out from the uniform design from other tablets. It's appearance is it's asset in that this model includes a stand (or hanger if that's how you choose to use it), but also makes it easier to grip the tablet, great for the very young or the elderly with arthritis. The "spine" (as I call it), also houses the camera which you rotate to the front or back (or even side if you don't want to make your picture taking obvious, handy for sneaky candid pics.. especially with furkids like mine who stop their antics when they think there's a camera pointed at them).
Screen: 5/5
The colours on the screen are vibrant, and thankfully, you can adjust the brightness as the screen could light up a room in the pitch darkness (believe me, you don't need a torch app with this tablet).
Sound: 6/5
I can't fault this tablet and it puts every other tablet I've had, both past and current, to shame. With Dolby stereo speakers, you can have the music blaring in the backyard when you're putting out the washing, or leave the tablet on full volume in one room and still hear it in every other room in the house (ok.. this may depend on the size of your house.. I'm referring to a long 2 bedroom unit here). I use both Simple Radio and Spotify on this tablet, and the powerful volume of this tablet is the perfect accompaniment for both.
Connectivity: 4/5
I find it frustrating that this tablet doesn't have a SIM card slot, I was looking for a tablet to replace my Samsung Galaxy for the sole purpose that one of my mobile numbers would have a new home. So discovering (after the fact) that this tablet didn't have a slot initially left me as a very unhappy customer. But I'm adjusting to its WiFi capabilities. There's a saying: A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. I guess when it comes to WiFi, that saying also works. In retrospect, I can't fault this tablet. It's highly attuned sensitivity means that it will pick up any and every WiFi in the area even very weak signals, but as to whether it holds onto that signal depends on the WiFi itself. I've been in Hungry Jacks, Red Rooster, a couple of libraries, 1 large shopping centre (and of course home). If there's WiFi available, this tablet will pick it up and connect with ease (provided it's a WiFi that's not private, obviously). But at the same time, I've been to some areas where the public WiFi signal was so weak that the tablet couldn't hold onto it. I'm still scoring it a 4, because had this tablet had a SIM card slot, then it'd be perfect.
Memory: 5/5
This tablet came with 16GB of memory, and there's space for more in the way of a micro SD slot (hidden beneath the stand)
Camera: 4/5
It's not the worst camera I've ever had, but it's also definitely not the best. Great for selfies and taking pet pics and maybe even scenery, but I wouldn't call it professional quality. This is one feature where the Samsung Galaxy and Samsung TabPro far surpasses that of this tablet. The images can get slightly grainy and even blurry, but for the most part, the images are passable.
Games: 4.5/5
On my tablet, I've downloaded PvZ2, WwF2, Sudoku and 8 Ball Pool. For the most part, I can't fault it.. the tablet doesn't freeze or crash with these games (unlike Samsung Galaxy 10.5 which frequently booted me out of 8 Ball Pool or often froze with WwF), but with games like PvZ2, there are some parts of this game where the tablet can be a little slow, hence my deduction of the half point.
Social Media: 5/5
This tablet is perfect for media junkies as it handles well the memory required for FB, Instagram and Twitter (I don't use the other forms of social media so can't comment on them). The only thing I really don't like on this tablet are the smilie options which look like half melted normal smilies, but I've noticed that when using it, it shows up as normal smiles in the social media app, so this is basically personal taste. Frustratingly, it doesn't have a laughing smilie, but it does have clapping hands and about 3 versions of a cheesy grin to compensate.
Other Media: 5/5
Again, I can't fault it. With the surround sound speakers and the vivid imagery, this tablet is perfect to watch tv shows and movies on.
Battery power: 5/5
Once again, this puts my other tablets to shame. Where my tablets would crash after a couple of hours of playing games or watching TV, this one maybe drops down by only about 20%. My waking hours average approx. 15 hours, and this tablet gets very little rest through that time, and I still have easily 40% by the end of my day.
This tablet also doesn't overheat like other tablets I've had and currently have. It's safe to constantly play games on or leave charge over night and the battery remains cool.
Yesterday, sitting in the sun in the park trying to get my Samsung Tab Pro to talk to my Lenovo so I could listen to some music, the Samsung Tab Pro got almost untouchably hot in the 5 - 10 minutes I took whereas the Lenovo didn't even raise a degree (although I wouldn't recommend leaving ANY tablet out in the sun for any period of time)
Overall:
This is a great tablet for beginners with its user friendly features, it's a great tablet for social media junkies, it's a great tablet for little kids as it appears pretty hardy (although I'm not about to purposely test to see how shock proof it is), it's a great tablet for the seniors with it's loud volume and easy handling, and it's a great tablet for people on a tight budget with limited funds. You can also buy this tablet in various stores using either ZipPay, ZipMoney and too, AfterPay.

Perfect size for travelling – Rather than lugging around our full size laptop whilst on holidays, we purchased this item for travelling. it fits perfectly in carry on luggage and can be easily used as a laptop or tablet on the plane. that app is available on Windows website, and guess what..... that means about every app i want to download is unavailable to me. I will be playing around with settings and since this is just a new update to Windows, hopefully there will be override/fix/update/deletion to this problem by the time i next travel. But this has now made me wary of buying any new laptop in case this happens there too. Thanks Windows.
Perfectly Compact Package – As a regular traveller I am always seeking what I need to fit into the smallest space possible and the lightest so not to use up my valuable 7kg carry on. However, it has to do what I need it to do. My Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 was the perfect solution. It has ample internal storage so it allows me to keep in touch with loved one whilst I am travelling… Read more
but also I can download, work on and post my pictures to social media without any problems. It has a great quality feel and the battery life is brilliant. I recently purchased a tiny plug in keyboard and now I have everything a larger notebook would give me. Highly recommend this produce.

Flawed product – The tablet has a decent charge life. Lacks in the processing department but you get what you pay for. Where this tablet fails is the random shut downs and restarts. The tablet will suddenly lock and go blank every 5 minutes or less. Than it will go back tot he lock screen. This appears to be an established and known update issue. The role out… Read more
of a flawed product like this with such a major update issue is a poor investment.
Charging can be a problem but this seems related to the battery life.
The random shut downs were related to a software update. This was fixed a short time ago. Still it is a major failure by Lenovo.
Not happy Jan! – I recently replaced my worn out Samsung galaxy tab with the Lenovo yoga 3 and I have to say I'm pretty disappointed with the Lenovo product. It doesn't operate as smoothly or efficiently as the old Samsung and considering they are at a similar price point I am regretting my purchase. The product does not live up to the advertising hype. Not too bad for the price but lack speed – It was great for the price however, it is slower than expected and the screen is pretty bad, the kickstand is a nice bonus though. Farther note that battery and the speaker are above average, and the construction of the device are fairly good as well, so rest assured . Show details

Good little tablet – Bought this tablet as we were in the market for tablets that were cost effective compared to the latest Apple and Samsung iterations. While not overly powerful does everything we need it to do. Has a good screen and decent enough power to run most media applications for entertainment. Finding a case in store for protection can be hard but looking… Read more
online was a viable choice. The camera is not overly good compared to any of the latest phones but is okay for Skype and Messenger Video Calls.

Nice Tablet – We bought this tablet for our mum who is in her 50's for her birthday. She found it very easy to use & lightweight. It has good screen size, in built stand feature. It's camera can be rotated as well for capturing your surrounding which we really loved. All in all it's basic, simple & affordable. Show details
Good for my daughter – It's reasonably cheap and my daughter using it for long. I have not faced any issues accept the charger was stopped charging and then I got a new charger. Simple and great on the go tablet!!! – It's slim and lightweight! It weighs less than .300g. What I enjoy most how user friendly this is! It's touch screen so it's really modern. It has 2 mega pixel camera, HD primary and secondary camera. It is able to connect to the internet and also has Bluetooth too. I got a black one and it's really nice and sleak! Show details
Great tablet! – Does everything I need (really just watching videos and reading). Nice and lightweight, has built in stand which is very useful. Sleek design, very thin, so easy to hold when reading as well. Only thing I've had trouble with is connecting my Bluetooth headset to it, although that's probably the fault of the headset! The touchscreen works very will...it is mot heavy, very handle ant comfortable to use...you can easily put to the any school bag. too heavy – I bought 2 of these tablets for my children half a year ago from the JBhifi. It was easy to set them up and started using like any other tablets. But extremely heavy for a tablet. I paid roughly $300 each and I regret not spending that money on a I-pad or a Samsung tablet, instead. So considering the tablets were for children, this is not very… Read more
practical and also not good option to take these for travelling especially if you have to travel somewhere with these in your backpack, you will appreciate the lighter weight tablets but not these ones. Otherwise, I have to be honest and it was easy to set it up and use.
Great – Very happy with my lenovo. Excellent performance and simple to use. Am considering going for a Lenovo lap top next time. Compared to other tablets that I've had this leaves them for dead. Have no hesitation in a reco to any of my mates. Good on you Lenovo and keep up the good work Show details

Does the job well – I like the Lenovo Yoga Tab, I use it only in occasions though. I find that the screen has very nice resolution and is very responsive to the touch. Fair for Price – Pro's amazing long battery life , good value for the price, easy to update, cons it's slower than my old Pendo which is only half the grunt of this one. Pendo is 1 gig with 16 g of memory Lenovo is 2gig with 32 g of memory. but still good value Show details

Heavier but great battery life – Purchased as an occasional PC to use upstairs but I now use it all the time. I dont use the camera very much. It has an all day battery life but it seems to take a long time to charge. I have tried to clear a lot of the apps I dont use and this speeds the tablet up a bit. Show details
Long battery life – I chose this tablet because of it's long battery life. It also has great sound quality and volume. Good but still a tablet – To be honest, we bought this for my partner beginning university as a laptop substitute. Although it's great for a tablet, its still that, a tablet. be writing a whole lot here and there, don't bother. I pretty much exclusively use it as a tablet and she rarely uses it over her phone.
This will probably change once she gets further into uni readings etc, but as I said, a regular tablet would probably be a better way to go.
Great design, battery life and camera – This is a fantastic value for money tablet. Brilliant battery life - great for movies while flying. Swivel camera is awesome design feature - very flexible and easy to use. Screen output very good. Not a lot of on-screen features as its mainly a basic tablet - but especially grest for first time tablet user. Show details
